Jumpsuit Transition From Casual to Dressy

Hi Foxy Friends! Who am I doing an outfit post?! But I got this jumper a while back and wanted to style it for you, although it's no longer for sale, I did find a few options that are super cute that work too to get the same look.

*Some of the links are affiliate links and I will  either receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you click on it or if you make a purchase from one of these links, I may also receive a commission on the sale of the product. Click here for my disclosure page.

I really wish this jumpsuit was still in stock, it's so cute, and can be dressed up or down. I've dressed it down with some tennis shoes, but it would be so easy to add a black blazer and some heels to go out with friends.

Jumpsuit (similar, sort of) / Shoes / Earrings

I love that it has pockets.

And has this cute stripe down the side, so dang adorable.

I paired it with easy jewelry, I was going to a 3 year old birthday party.

Anyway, I love a jumpsuit that you can dress up or down. The camo jumpsuit fits that bill. I wore it with sparkly tennis shoes, but I could have just as easily dressed it up with a black blazer and some booties, or heels. I think I have 4 jumpsuits in my closet right now...can't have too many can you? I've decided nope, and I know the whole going to the bathroom thing is a pain, but it's super cute...take for example this jumpsuit...has this super cute racerback...but it has a zipper and once I got it down, I realized I couldn't zip it back up...had to go back to the table with my hair down to cover the fact that I was half dressed, oops!

Some other options for jumpsuits that can be dressed up or down:

This one is super cute.

I love the pattern on this one.

Here's how you could style this one for both the Spring and Summer months

Spring/Dressed Up: Jumper / Black Blazer / Booties/ Necklace
Summer/Dressed Down: Jumper / Shoes

Perfect Jeans

Hi Foxy Friends! Today I'm sharing THE MOST COMFORTABLE jeans ever. Yes it deserves the all caps. Plus it sort of has vanity sizing, as in you size down 2 sizes...and the feel like pajama pants...I'm in all the way. Plus they look stylish with the rips and stuff.

Perfect Ripped Jeans

Shirt (comes in 9 patterns and under $20) / Jeans / Heels (similar) / Earrings (similar)

The cuffs on the pant leg are so dang cute the way that they are ripped.  Oh and did I tell you they suck everything in too? Yep, they do that and lift the butt up. The most perfect pair of jeans I'm telling you. I paired it with some simple black heels, but some cute flats would be adorable too.

Oh and can we talk about the shirt (funny enough I washed it and it still had the lines, I was too lazy to get the iron out...) Anyway, back on track. It's comfy and I think I want it in some more colors, people won't notice right?

So anything you've been buying that I NEED? I'm gearing up for Spring Break next week, so excited to get away for a bit with the family. I might even try and put together a video on what to pack for a Palm Springs Vacation.

Winter to Spring Transition Sweater

Hi Foxy Friends! Happy Hump day, man the last two days have been long. I've been not sleeping well so it's been rough at work to say the least. Can we talk about Target for a minute? I'm loving their new A New Day line, all of the sweaters are so soft and perfect for Spring, when we're transition from cold to warmer temps. I got this sweater a while back, so it's not available, but I found one that is similar. It's so soft and light weight, I can hardly believe it's from Target.

Sweater (similar) / Jeans (similar) / Shoes (Only  $40!)

I'd like to thank Abbie for taking all of the photos. We had three kids between us and we were trying to keep them occupied while taking photos at the same time.

They really did come at the best time, a week between all of the rain. It has pretty much rained almost every weekend since they left.

Mini Fox wanted in on the action.

Her and Abbie's daughter were fast friends and wanted to do everything together.

Alright, go link up your fashion post on either our host Vanessa's blog or The Blended Blog.

My Velvet Dress

Hi Foxy Friends! I'm somewhat excited to share with you my outfit today. Today over on The Blended Blog we're sharing the oldest thing in our closet. I dug deep and I have NO idea why it's still in my closet, but it is...and I'm breaking it out for you. I wish I had a picture of me wearing it previously, but can't find one. Darn. So you ready? This dress is almost 25 years old...and I wore it for when we performed in Wind Ensemble in high school. It still FITS!

You know the whole Marie Kondo thing, this dress still sparks joy. While I know I don't wear it, but it just brings back such great memories. I know you probably aren't suppose to keep things that are just sentimental, but it's my closet and I want to!  So my dad went with me to buy this dress. We bought it at Windsors on the sale rack, mark down,  mark down. I think we spent about $20 and went running out the store just in case it was a mistake. I wore it for the 3 years I was in Wind Ensemble.

Note: In you case you didn't know I played trombone for 12 years. I know you were all wondering what I played. And I haven't picked it up since leaving college.

I can't even believe my dad bought this dress for me...this is the back. I was in 10th grade people.

In other news, since I lost my camera lens and the wireless remote (I know they are hanging out together making fun of me...probably in plain site), Baby Fox was my shutter button pusher. I set up the tripod and he pushed the button, let me tell you kids have no sense of when to push it. I kept telling him to stop pushing it when I was still moving. Then he goes...OHHHHH, that makes sense. LOL. I told him to pose so I could take a test shot, silly kid.

So now that I've showed you a dress that you can't get, let me give you some options that you can get. Surprisingly I found one that is super similar, except that it's short instead of long. This one is very similar in style, but it's long sleeve mesh and not velvet. And this one, is velvet, has mesh, and a cute back as well.

Then I found some velvet full length dresses that have no mesh, but are super cute for a ball type function.

Option 1 (a friend bought this one and is 40% off right now)
Option 2
Option 3 (my favorite and 40% on sale)

What I Wore For The Holidays

Hello Foxy Friends! Long time to talk huh? So sorry I took that unexpected break. I got really sick (extreme vertigo) just after the last post and couldn't function for 5 days! Thankfully it's gone, but then I got a nasty cold and lost my voice, blah blah blah, anyway. I decided it was God's way of telling me to slow down and enjoy my family, so I did.

Anyway, I'm back and healthy, mostly, and ready to get back at it! Today I'm linking up with The Blended Blog ladies for our Wednesday Fashion link up. We've come up with some great themes, today's theme is all about what we wore for the holidays. Go on over to the host for the week, Kellyann's blog so see what she wore, probably the most adorable outfits ever.  I was a bad blogger and didn't take any pictures, and then I was going to yesterday, and it was so windy and cold I couldn't muster up the energy. Okay enough with the excuses! I'll show you what I did take.

I went to a Mom's Night Out on Sunday for a pre-NYE celebration, and we had a blast and stayed out till 12:30....I know, party animals. I took this photo to show my other Blended Bloggers I was wearing the skirt we ALL bought! You can too it's on sale, buy it here from Shaunacey. The best part? It's freakin' reversible! Yep the other side is a shiny black, it's awesome.

Skirt / Shirt  (similar) / Blazer (similar) / Heels

So let's chat about my Christmas outfit. Remember I showed you this outfit that I was going to wear? Well the shirt didn't quite work out, so I bought another and I think it turned out even better! Looks like they are sold out, but it's similar to this shape, and has the pattern of this. Of course I took no pictures wearing it. After dinner we all changed into our matching jammies. Which was adorable and comfortable!

Camo for Work

Hi Foxy Friends! Hope your week is going well. Today on The Blended Blog we are show casing how we style camo...if you can believe it, 4.5 years ago I wouldn't have thought I would ever wear camo. I joined a style challege, and it forever changed my life. Right now you can sign up for the Fall Style Challenge. If you are in a rut with your clothes, I would highly recommend it, here is my affiliate link code. It's $39 to join and you get 37 pieces (some you can buy or you can use what you have in a different way) and get 23 outfits to make with those pieces. It's super fun filled with fun ladies sharing their outfits daily.

Anyway, before that challenge I wouldn't have even mixed patterns, now I can't imagine life without that! And leopard...never in a million years would have worn those...and now it is a regular in my life. Okay totally off topic now, back to camo. A good pair of camo jeans goes a long way. I decided to showcase mine with my new favorite camisole, also seen here, and a little pattern mixing.

Jeans (similar) / Cami (on sale right now!) / Blazer (similar here and here) / Heels (other colors are 60% off, click here for those, wish they had my size! But they have every size above mine still left!)

On another note, remember when I told you I ordered this dress? Well I got it and unfortunately it didn't fit, but the good news. For those ladies that are looking for a wrap type dress (this one is a fake one), and are not well endowed, if you know what I mean, this dress is perfect! I know I always have problems with finding a wrap dressing that don't drape horribly.

Did you style something camouflage this week? Link up any look down below!

Perfect Fall Work Outfit

Hi Foxy Friends! I know I've been a little MIA lately, just enjoying the family, staying out late, putting the kids to bed way later than normal, hanging with friends and enjoying one of the best summers ever! Taking pictures in the summer is hard for me...it's super sunny, I have a sunny backyard, and it's hard to sneak in pictures. When the sun doesn't go down till late, I'm usually not in the mood to take pictures. But this weekend it was actually cloudy, so threw on some clothes and took a picture for you.

Anyway, this is the perfect Fall work outfit as sometimes it's really cold in the morning and evenings and warmer in the afternoon, so you can take the blazer on and off as needed.

Pants (similar here and here) / Camisole / Blazer (similar) / Heel

Andrea, which I can't find the exact post, but she's wearing the cami in this post...said they were comfy and versitle, so I jumped right on it. Right now they are buy one get one 50% off, so jump on it, it's a good deal! She is so right, I have it in three colors, this light pink one, a white one and a black and white polka dot one (I can't say no to polka dots). I actually wore this skirt (it has elastic in the waist, with a regular front, so you get the comfort in the back and style in the front) with it for church on Sunday.

In case you are wondering, and I know you are...I'm wearing this strapless bra. Stays up all day and I'm not constantly tugging on it, so I guess that's a win.
