5 Reasons To Buy Holiday Cards

Thank You Shutterfly for providing me product. As always all opinions and thoughts are my own.

Hello Foxy Friends! Today I'm sharing one of my favorite things to do each year. Holiday cards. Between me and all of you, Mr. loves sending out cards just as much as I do. Each year he helps me pick them out. Actually this year, while I was cooking dinner, he sat down went through the hundreds of options and picked out his top 5 picks, and then together we decided on the final product. Last year I told you how to pick out your cards, this time I am sharing 5 reasons you need to get yearly holiday cards and why Shutterfly is the best place to get them!

ONE

Memories. Isn't that why we do anything? I keep them all, if you have ever sent me a Christmas card...scratch that, if you have ever sent me any card I still have it. I keep them all by year for random cards, and then the Christmas cards get their own bin. I love seeing how much the kids have grown each year.

Note: I came up with a fun way to store all of these cards I've gotten over the years, besides in the baggies that they are currently in...click here to see how to store your cards.

TWO

You know you like getting cards from people and seeing how their kids have grown up. The same can be said about your family. People want to see how much your family has grown. I know I look forward to Christmas cards each year, and when the new year rolls around, I'm sad to have to take down our cards. Full disclosure, one year we kept them up until mid-February.

These are the cards I've gotten over the years.

THREE

Feeling connected to friends and family. I know this one seems silly, but everyone is so busy all the time. You mean to see that friend or that friend, but time seems to go faster and faster the older we get. I like getting cards from friends, it lets me know, hey I'm thinking of you and even though we haven't talked in months, I still cherish our friendship. At least that's what I tell myself each time a card arrives in the mail. That and I haven't made it off their Christmas card list yet, and that makes me happy too. So even though you might not talk to them often, know that they always appreciate being thought of and you taking the time to send them a card.

FOUR

Shutterfly makes is super easy to pick out your cards. You can choose how many pictures you want, insert pictures, write sentiment click buy and off to your house they come. You say that you don't have time to send them? Shutterfly will do that for you too! Give them your addresses, they put them on the envelopes and send for you, you don't even have to do anything!

Tip: I use the same sentiment every year. Year after year I would scour the internet to try and find the perfect sentiment, and when I found it I decided you know what? I don't remember what someone said last year...they're not going to remember ours, so I use the same one each year.

FIVE

Shutterfly always has some sort of sale going on. Heck I have 4 coupon codes at home right now. So if you need one, email me and I'll send it right over! The prices are pretty good for the quality of the card that you are getting. You don't need to spend a lot, Shutterfly has a range of prices, something for everyone. Here are some of my favorite cards this year.

Card #1

 Card #3

 Card #4

You're going to have to wait to see our cards this year until we send them out. Yep I am that person that takes family photos in September/October and then doesn't show anyone anything until after Christmas cards have gone out. Anyone else like that too? Just me? Figures.

So if any of you want to send me a card, know that I'll keep it for forever....then one day in 10 years, you can ask me...hey what did we do for our card in 2017 and BAM I got ya covered.

Finding the Perfect Anniversary Gift

This is a sponsored post brought to you by Uncommon Goods. As always the opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

Hello Foxy Friends!  This weekend we are headed to a wedding, which got me thinking, we have very few weddings to attend these days. Mostly it's baby showers, and even then those are few and far between. It's so hard coming up with good gifts these days, whether it be for a wedding, anniversary or new baby. Enter Uncommon Goods, I love that they support artists and designers that are run by the designer themselves and over 50% of what they sell are handmade. I love when I can support someone doing what they love.

When it comes to buying gifts for Mr., I am always stumped and recently have not been getting him anything. Bad I know! I love the unique gift ideas that Uncommon Goods has. Mr. is a music guy, we met when he was in a band, so I think these would be pretty awesome to give him. Him and my uncle are always trying to get notes to play on their wine glasses, this actually might be what I get my aunt and uncle for Christmas. Some unique ideas for the man in your life:

Now for the ladies. Finding an anniversary gift for me is crazy repetitive. I always like clothes and shoes, but one can only buy that so many times? Sometimes it's nice to get something you didn't know you wanted. For me I'm sentimental and like cheesy things like this. Here are a few gifts ideas for the ladies.

And then there are the things that you just want to get for yourself, like this and this. I might have one of those things coming my way. I'll let you know what I think of it, thanks Uncommon Goods for sending it to me!

There are also so many great gifts for hostess gifts for all of those holiday parties coming up! What would you pick out for yourself?

CaseApp Review

Thank You CaseApp for sponsoring this post. As always all opinions and thoughts are my own.

I was so excited when CaseApp approached me to receive some free products from them. I love getting custom iPhone cases for my phones. Specifically when they are pictures of my kids, cause who doesn't love looking at their kids pictures all the time? The first time I got an iPhone was a few years back and I quickly jumped on the picture on phone case band wagon. When I got my upgrade (courtesy of Mr.), I got another one right away. I typically just went with the cheapest thing I could find.

Enter CaseApp, their prices are awesome! No need to look for the cheapest price around, just go straight to CaseApp, and they got your covered, and most likely you can find a 20% off coupon code somewhere, so if mine is expired, just type in 20% off in google and I'm sure something will pop up. For now you can use FOXYSDOMESTICSIDE20 to get 20% off your next order.

They have a tougher case, which this girl really needs, and it covers the front side too, so I feel if you drop it, it's going to protect the corners of your precious phone. The website is SUPER easy to navigate and to upload pictures and designs, they even have a bunch of design, shapes and pictures you could add from their suite of graphics. Super easy, the only problem is...choosing what you want to get!

I just love this picture of the kids.

You can't tell, but it's a matte case. I really like the feel of it, as it doesn't feel slick and I don't feel like I'm going to drop it. The colors that are coming out here, don't do it justice, the colors are really vibrant and gorgeous, exactly how my pictures print out in person. I love how the picture wraps around the sides to make it more seamless.

I also got an iPad skin. I had no idea what this was when I ordered it. Quite honestly I thought it was going to be an actual case, I have no idea why I thought that. Anyway, I'm in love with it. It was so easy to apply, and doesn't make the iPad bulky at all.
It took me about 3 minutes to apply this perfectly, the fit was spot on. I think even though I accidentally ordered the skin instead of a case, I sort of like it better, it has a slight texture to it so you feel like you can get some grip on it. You could get a pattern on the front as well, but I didn't do that. I love it just the way it came out.

I also had a questions about one of the cases, and after I emailed the help center they emailed me back within 12 hours and had an answer for me. I love when they get right back to you, cause you know you're itching to buy whatever you need and want an answer RIGHT NOW.

I know you want one now, enter below and you could win a free case of your choosing!

Don't forget to use FOXYSDOMESTICSIDE20 for 20% off your next order in case you can't wait!

The Picket Fence: A Baby Store and More

Disclosure: I received product to facilitate this review. All opinions expressed below, however, are always 100% my own and a reflection of my thoughts on the product and company.

Hello Foxy Friends! I recently discovered a store called Picket Fence: Baby Stores Pittsburgh that has a little of everything. They say they are a baby store, but in all reality they have so much more. When they asked me to pick something out, it was so hard to pick just one thing, I really wanted it all! I ended up picking this tunic, for all of you tall gals out there, this is what you need, it's super long and oh so comfy.

See how long it is?

See a little too long for me, I think, so I ended up tucking it in and just love how it looks, super comfortable and light weight, perfect for the Winter/Spring transition. I threw on some white pants to bring out the color and make it feel a tad bit more Spring.

Tucked all the way in

Half tuck for the win.

If I had all the money in the world this is what I would buy from them. Seriously cuteness overload.

5 Reasons You Need a Baby Jogger As Your First Stroller + A Giveaway

This is a sponsored post brought to you by Nakturnal. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

Hello Foxy Friends! It's Thursday, woo hoo! I have tomorrow off, so today is my "Friday" yay. I don't know about you but the days at work seem to be passing at snail pace, seriously!

I was thinking about it a few months ago when we were cleaning out our house and garage that we have entirely too many strollers! At one point, I wish I was kidding, we had 6 strollers at our house, no joke! Looking back I wish I had done more research when we got our very first stroller, I think it would have eliminated several of those strollers, and we could have gotten it down to 2.

Back when we got pregnant with Mini Fox, we...and I really mean me, was vacillating between two strollers. One of them being an umbrella stroller and the other a expandable stroller. I had no idea these were a thing, when we had Baby Fox. In the end I figured that Baby Fox was almost out of the stroller game and I didn't want to invest that much to buy two of everything. I wish I had known sooner. Boy was a I wrong, they fight every time I just bring the umbrella stroller, then end up like this, every single time.

stroller sharing

Little did I know that Baby Fox would in fact always like to be in a stroller and the kids would constantly fight over who gets to ride in it. Should have just invested in the expandable one right? So here I am telling you 3 reason why you need to invest in a Baby Jogger System with the first kid!

One

Our first stroller was a click and go but with this stroller system, you can have the click and go mentality and then change it over to a seat once they are old enough without having to get another stroller. This almost eliminates one of my strollers that I had to buy. This is set up to have another seat under the infant seat, which is optional, see reason #2.

Two

This is expandable to more than one kid! You just keep adding on pieces to the base frame and you're good to go, no adding more strollers to your arsenal of strollers. I know Baby Fox LOVED when we had our Sit and Stand stroller, so in this case we could have added the kick board to the base and called it a day, stroller #2 and #3 eliminated. This is configured to three kids, how amazing is this, one stroller, three kids. And all you did was buy the first stroller when you had your first kid. It's the stroller that keeps on giving!

Three

Super light weight and can be broken down into with one hand. It can't get any easier then that right? I know my umbrella strollers are more than one hand break down and somewhat difficult. Most of my friends had this stroller and I was so jealous of them when they got it, kicking myself for not getting one too!

There are 16 different configurations, so if you have one kid that hits the other, you can just flip the seat around and voila no more hitting because they can't see each other. Really if you add the glider board in there, you could get more than 16, but these are the advertised configurations.

When you have it in the single mode the seat can lean all the way back so your child can get a nap in while you are out and about. No need to rush home.
