My favorite eyeliner. I actually have two. I have for coloring in, one for making the cat eye and another for my water line...although the cat eye and water line is a dual, so that is only one! I have recommended the dual one to several friends and they all love it too. The other one is my favorite too, and I always get the color Perversion (it's super black).

tip: The dual one is going to be on Ulta's 21 Days of beauty on March 28 and make sure it's the first thing you buy in the morning because once it runs out of stock for the day, you'll be sad. Heck for $12, what do you have to lose?!

| TWO |

My go to eye shadow palette right now? The Jaclyn Hill one from Morphe although they are now selling it at Ulta. Every eye shadow look I've done in the past 3 months has been with this palette. It's a great price for how many colors you get, and the pigment is fantastic.

| THREE |

Eyelashes, what can I saw, I'm obessed? I have a few favorites, the first is for everyday life, if you want to just have more then you do...the second is for when you want a bolder look and longer eyelashes (I actually wear these as everyday too...just cause I can), I also really like these for a bolder looks as well, they're called Iconic Lite.

My favorite mascara is this one...I don't use it on my own lashes, but I use it on the fake ones and they make them look extra long and full.

OH and honorable mention is this Highligher...it's amazing! So what are some of your make up favorites?  Jump on over to The Blended Blog to see what products are others favorites and link up your own make up favorites!

Friday Favorites #156

Hi Foxy Friends! Happy Friday! Today is my day off, woo hoo, I love my off Fridays, makes the longer work days the other 9 days worth it. Having our friends over for dinner as usual...have no idea what I'm making for dinner...at least this is our last non-meat Friday, at least where we are making dinner. What to make, what to make....anyway, here are my Friday Favorites.

In case you missed it this week:

Monday: $10 Target Haul
Bonus Monday: My Favorite Hair Products
Tuesday: 3 Tips To Plan A Surprise Party
Wednesday: Favorite Cold Should Sweater
Thursday: Trying 15 colors of Lipsense

CrystalBethJess  and Stephanie host a monthly link up, it's simple, 5 things that bring you joy. So here are my 5 things for the month.

| One | That Lipsense video up there, it was so fun to make/edit and I love make up. I'm finding a new love for making videos. I have so many ideas in my head and not enough hours in the day.

| Two | New friends. I've been going to the gym with this lady for the past couple of years, and we've been friendly and talked, our kids go to the same school, but recently we've been talking more and we're finding that we have so much in common and are wondering why we didn't talk sooner! It's always fun finding new friends. Plus they kids get along with our kids and the husbands get along...so it's win-win. Glad to have new friends to hang out with.

| THREE | Throwing my aunt her surprise party. It was the best. Read all about it here.

| Four | These kids. They are at such a great age. Great to talk them out, to travel with them and to explore the world with them!

| Five | Friday night dinners with these folks. We swap whose house we go to each week and it's the BEST way to end the week with good friends, movies and snuggles.

Other things happening in my world. Ice cream dates, those are fun. No one can turn down Thrifty's ice cream.

Legoland trip a couple of weeks ago, was so much fun, we were only there for 6 hours but it was so fun, and the weather was perfect and the ride lines were short!

This girls started soccer last Saturday. Amazing what a year will do. She's right in there, and not the youngest on the team...woo hoo! Oh and she posed like this all on her own. I did not have anything to do with it.

Mini Fox is getting so strong. She stayed like this longer than any of the boys in her class. She's one touch chick.

This made me laugh, once a dad always a dad. I was coordinating with my dad picking up Baby Fox from school and this is how he ends our conversation.

Also you know a huge group message was going around while you didn't have your phone on you during surprise party when you see how many text messages you have.

Last week we celebrated Mr.'s birthday. The day of was just a normal day, baseball, I left my phone at the gym, so had to leave the kids with him to go retrieve phone, luckily it was exactly where I left it on the treadmill an hour later! This is why I love my gym so much! But we did celebrate the next night with some friends.  I made prime rib that came out perfect!

Made a carrot cake...everyone said it was really good.

And sang happy birthday...it was a great evening.

Here's to many more birthday celebrations!

This is just a feel good segment from American Idol...which I thought went away? I'm so confused...why is it back?

I need this in my office, I think all of us could use it right about now.

Yep, this. I need this in my life.

Trying on 15 LipSense Colors

Hi all! I decided to get crazy a few months ago and wear every single color of Lipsense. I know crazy, I even got a few while I was putting this together and added those in too! I might have a slight addiction. Similar to the time when I tried on a bunch of Kylie Lip Kits and tried on all of those colors too, what can I say, I find something I like and I run with it. Alright here is the video I put together:

I am wearing three layers of each color, combined with Glossy Gloss. The colors I am wearing are:

Caramel Apple

Napa

Lexie Bear-Y

Aussie Rose

Apple Cider

Bella

Roseberry

Sheer Berry

Mulled Wine

Glam Doll

Purple Reign

Dark Pink

Fly Girl

Blu-Red

B. Ruby

So there you have it 15 colors of Lipsense. So do you own any? What do you think? I'm obsessed and my other lipsticks are sort of getting jealous.

If you want to try them out, contact my Canadian friend, Shaunacey and if you are from the US contact my friend Becky.

Striped Cold Should Sweater

Happy Wednesday Foxy Friends! Today I'm finally sharing how I styled my cold shoulder sweater I got when I went up to Seattle. I love this sweater so much, the stripes, the white and blue...swoon. It's so comfy and I want to wear it all the time. Unfortunately it's been rainy here and I haven't been wearing it on the weekends and I don't think it's work appropriate...thoughts on that? We're pretty casual, but not sure how work would take a cold shoulder ya know?

Sweater (similar) / Jeans (similar here and here)  / Shoes (Similar)

This picture, I always try to take one like this because Alison always looks fantastic when she does it...I have not yet master the Alison. I need lessons.

I'm fairly certain the lipsense color I have on is called Aussie Rose. Speaking of Lipsense, do you know I own about 18 of these things? Yep that's right, 18, plus 3 different glosses. That being said, I put together a video of 15 of the colors, and I'm sharing it tomorrow, so come back! It's going to be insane!

3 Tips How To Throw A Surprise Party

Hi Foxy Friends! Over the weekend we actually pulled it off and threw a surprise party for my aunt who was turning who was turning 60! I can't believe we did it, seriously, she has her house on serious lock down! Has the Ring doorbell and everything, so there was no way she was leaving the house for any amount of time for us to get the house ready. So without anyone to host the party nearby...we did the next best thing...snuck in and decorated her whole house WHILE she was getting ready. That's right folks, we snuck into her house while she was getting ready to go out (what she thought was to a neighbors house for dinner) and we decorated.

So we did have one advantage, the way her house is laid out, her house is in the back bedroom in the way back of the house, and she usually keeps the TV on really loud so she can listen to the news while she is getting ready. So we had that going for us. As soon as she went back to take a shower my uncle texted us and we were there within seconds, unloading our car. The main decoration was all of these flowers. Since we knew we only had about 30 minutes to get everything set up.

So all that being said here are some tips on how to throw a surprise party.

| TIP 1 |

Don't stress too much about the surprise part. It's nice if it happens the way everyone envisions, with the guest of honor walking in on a dozen family and friends yelling surprise! But you know what? Even if there is just the people setting up yelling surprise it's still a surprise to the person coming.

Like I said, my aunt has her house on lock down, so we snuck in and decorated while she was getting ready. We got all of the flowers out, and the food even came 30 minutes early, and we had all the food out too, so it was even more of a surprise to have a huge buffet full of food set up.

I ended up making a pallet sign for her, and decided Saturday morning to have everyone sign the back. It ended up super cute.

| TIP 2 |

If your guest of honor is home when you are there, less is more. We went big with the flowers, but if you have more time, these 5 steps on how to throw the best party are helpful. I would have loved to go big with a ton of decorations but I knew our limitations and was aware of it.

| TIP 3 |

Enjoy the process, go with the flow, in the end you're doing something super nice for the person you love and no matter if they find out, like my sister did when I tried to throw her a 40th surprise party and she was going to back out of going to the "dinner" I had planned, and ended up telling her. It was still a surprise at the moment and she was thankful in the end I made her go.

Now go out and plan the perfect surprise party! It will be worth it!

$10 Target Haul March Edition

Hi Foxy Friends! I know two posts in one day, crazy pants right?! But I really wanted to do both of these posts with some fun blogging ladies, so here I am another post down for the week. For this months post, I actually got to go to Target alone...so...truth be told, I told Mr. I was going to the grocery store and then "accidentally" stopped at Target on my way, haha! Anyway, mostly it was all the stuff there was Easter related, so I got some Easter stuff. In hopes that I would decorate for Easter...maybe? I've been super lazy decorating for the seasons this year, not sure, just don't have the motivation?

Here is what I found:

I thought I would use the bunny as the center of my door Wreath.

The kids love the window cling ons...so had to get some of those.

I loath dying eggs, I have no idea why. But I just don't like it, we've never done it with the kids. I found those eggs that are fake and they can color on them and they are already decorated..done. They were excited when they saw them, so mission accomplished, on me more year of no egg dying is good for me.

I actually realize while I'm writing this I also bought some hair things for Bella but she tore into them as soon as she saw them. Oops.

How did I do spending wise?

Easter Eggs: $3
Bunny Sign: $3
Window Stickers: $1
Hair Clips: $1

Total: $8.60

Darn I could have spent another dollar, hehe.  So what did you buy? Anything good?
