Friday Favorites #157

Hi Foxy Friends! Kids have Spring Break starting after school today! So excited for them. We're doing a trip to the mountains, but not until Thursday, so looking forward to taking time off of work, I've been working about 5-10 overtime hours a week, it's starting to get to me...so taking some time to enjoy the family for the long weekend. Anyway, let's get to my Friday Favorites.

In case you missed it this week:

Monday: 5 Favorite Make Up Products
Tuesday: Disney On Ice In Southern California
Wednesday: What's Up Wednesday

I wanted to get a video up yesterday, but Mr. was upgrading the computer still, so it will have to wait...

What's going on with us? Well life has gotten crazy. Before kids...yep my kid is only going to do one thing a season...now..somehow we've ended up with 4...say what? We just signed Baby Fox back up for karate lessons. We were wanting to do it after baseball, but a good deal came up and we jumped on it. He has his first lesson last night, he was in Karate before and we had to stop, but we're back at it! It's so cool, before we were at a place where we couldn't see what they were doing and we weren't allowed to watch, but Baby Fox's Sensei has moved locations and now we get to see everything, it's pretty awesome.

Then we have this girl doing soccer.

Baby Fox doing baseball, he's the "pitcher" in this picture.

And then there is gymnastics and trampoline class too...

OH and he has aerodynamics/paper airplane class too...but that's just a 6 week thing...phew..I'm tired just thinking about it...but I love that they are interested in so many things.

You guys, I FINALLY have a girl with hair long enough I can do a crown braid...this make my heart so happy you have no idea.

She sees a dog an immediately wants to pet it.

After school treat of In and Out shakes...drinking it at Costco.

When we went into Costco I tried to get one of those picture where you don't know where you are...but they weren't really cooperating...but it was fun none-the-less.

She says I have a good idea...how about I stand here...this is her sneaky face.

Okay going to bombard you with a bunch of The Blended Blog stuff now so you can mark your calender's and get to linking up with us!

First up, as most of you know, the first Monday of every month is The Blended Blog Asks and then everyone else answers. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers and it's an easy Monday morning post. So get to answering the questions and link up with us!

Next, is the topics for the rest of the Mondays in April:

Last, we decided to go back to how things used to be for our Wednesday style posts and give people some promts. I find it easier to do outfit posts when someone is telling me what to do, so here are all of the Spring Fashion link up propmts. Obviously, you don't have to follow it, but if you are feeling a little creative-less, then use these prompts!

And last but certainly not least. my good friend and fellow The Blended Blogger is a published author! There were 11 ladies who contributed with their personal journey and stories. Carrie is sharing her journey with God and the relationships around her, she gets real and I'm super proud to call her friend. I can't wait to read it! Click here for more details from Carrie.

While I don't have teenagers yet, I fully agree with this 100%.

I haven't seen this one yet...but wow, he's so good. Just thinking about how much coordinating and the choreography to do this...wow, just wow. Everything he does is awesome.

Speaking of The Greatest Showman, I was telling Mr. that I wanted to get it when it came out on video, he says, why do you get a hard copy (engineer speak for physical copy), why not just get the digital copy. I said, we'll it's almost the same cost and it comes with a digital copy. So why not get the one from the store. He looks at me and says, do you even know how to use the digital copy? Haha, caught, yep have no idea how to retrieve them. Every single one of our Disney movies has come with a digital copy and I have no idea how to retrieve them...this is why I need a hard copy of it.

Hope you all have a great Easter weekend! See you on Monday for some TBB Asks!

What Up Wednesday

Hi Foxy Friends! Don't have an outfit post for you, computer is getting fixed by Mr....rather upgraded and it's not done yet. So all of my pictures are stuck on a hard drive somewhere. But I thought I would link up with  ShayMel and Sheaffer for their What's Up Wednesday.

1. What We're Eating

Sunday I made a whole chicken in the crock pot...turned out pretty good and the kids asked for more, which NEVER happens, so it will be definitely going into the rotation. I made a video of what I did, coming soon. I'm going to start a new series, where I try recipes on the web and then show you how I did it, what I did wrong and what I would change for the next time around.

Also eating all the cheese...I was working some overtime at home and Mr. came upstairs with a little snack for me. He knows the way to my heart, the crackers with the swirl on them are garlic flavored ones from Trader Joe's and combine that with the white cheese (from TJ's called Unexpected Cheddar Cheese), amazeballs...yes people still say that, okay I still say that. Go get it, you'll eat the whole thing in one sitting.

2. What I'm Reminiscing About

Easter is coming and this popped up in my FB feed...awww...they were so little!

3. What I'm Loving

Getting home earlier. It feels like I have so much more to my day. Even though I wake up at 3:15am, I am getting home at 3:30 and it's amazing to be able to do errands after work, instead of rushing home and not getting those same errands done. So far so good, don't love waking up so early, but I do love my after work time to get stuff done.

4. What We've Been Up To

Sports, all the sports. Soccer, baseball, gymnastics and trampoline...so many things, but the kids are having a blast and I enjoy watching them. Although with soccer and baseball being on the day of course almost all of their games are at the same time..divide and conquer, but then one of us doesn't get to see the other kid do their thing...insert sad face here.

5. What I'm Dreading

Having to get my blood drawn. Not getting the blood drawn part, but the results part. I feel like I'm being judged by what I eat...I try to eat healthy...but then sugar comes along and ruins it...haha! We'll see how it goes. But eventually I need to get that done.

Also dreading that Mr. is going on 2 work trips, one for 4 days, not a big deal, and then the other is for 10 days...pray for me.

6. What I'm Working On

Lots of YouTube videos for my channel and trying to start up a channel for the kids. I'm currently trying to gather a bunch of videos for their channel so we aren't pressured into having to make videos, plus doing my own videos and their videos...plus the blog...time management my friends. If you want to be the first to subscribe, click here.

7.  What I'm Excited About

Spring break next week. Well I don't get a Spring break but we're headed to the mountains with some friends and I'm going to enjoy 4 days of not thinking about work, working any over time or anything that has to do with thinking...besides which snack to eat next. Yay for big bear! The kids are excited to get away too.

8. What I'm Watching/Reading

We just finished watching a show called Altered Carbon, if sci-fi future shows are your thing, watch it, it's on Netflix and really good. I'm really hoping it gets picked up for another season.

I wish I was reading something, but see #7...not a priority for me right now. #truth

9. What I'm Listening To

I can't stop listening to The Greatest Showman sound track. I can't wait for it to come out on video in a few weeks, I'll definitely be watching it on repeat...especially with Mr. leaving town for a few days.

10. What I'm Wearing

I had a whole outfit to post today, but Mr. is upgrading my computer and it's in upgrade time out...apparently it's fighting back, but he says he's winning the battle...so hopefully it's back up sometime tomorrow!

In the mean time here is an outfit from last Spring...

11. What I'm Doing This Weekend

So far nothing. Going to get my hair cut...it's been 3 months since my last one...and if I do end up getting on, then this will be a record for me...usually it's once a year. So I'm doing good that I'm even considering going at the 3 month mark, haha.

Sunday is Easter, so church with my parents, hunting for Easter eggs and then dinner at my Aunt's house.

12. What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month

We're going to see Disney on Ice and the mountain trip, plus my Mother in law is coming to visit! Yay! Oh and how can I forget, Mr. and I are going away for a few days at the end of the month. We got a GREAT deal at our favorite Bed and Breakfast in Santa Barbara for Cyber Monday, and we're finally cashing in on it. Can't wait to spend some quality time with Mr. I think the last time we got away was probably 3 years ago when we went for our 10 year anniversary, we even got the same room again. Looking to be a pretty busy month!

13. What Else is New?

Not much else is new, I've pretty much told you everything...hmm...if anyone has any tricks on how to get a reservation at Yosemite...we're all ears. We have 5 people trying to get a reservation this last go around...and not one of us got anything. So wish us luck for the 15th of next month..we're hoping if we go the weekend before school starts, we'll be able to get in...that's what we did last year and it worked out pretty good.

Now link up your fashion posts below. Thanks to all that continue to make this link up a success!

| ONE |

My favorite eyeliner. I actually have two. I have for coloring in, one for making the cat eye and another for my water line...although the cat eye and water line is a dual, so that is only one! I have recommended the dual one to several friends and they all love it too. The other one is my favorite too, and I always get the color Perversion (it's super black).

tip: The dual one is going to be on Ulta's 21 Days of beauty on March 28 and make sure it's the first thing you buy in the morning because once it runs out of stock for the day, you'll be sad. Heck for $12, what do you have to lose?!

| TWO |

My go to eye shadow palette right now? The Jaclyn Hill one from Morphe although they are now selling it at Ulta. Every eye shadow look I've done in the past 3 months has been with this palette. It's a great price for how many colors you get, and the pigment is fantastic.

| THREE |

Eyelashes, what can I saw, I'm obessed? I have a few favorites, the first is for everyday life, if you want to just have more then you do...the second is for when you want a bolder look and longer eyelashes (I actually wear these as everyday too...just cause I can), I also really like these for a bolder looks as well, they're called Iconic Lite.

Lipsense, you guys I have a problem...see...enough said. I did a video last week on 15 of the 18 colors I own...so click over there to see that video.

You guys...this is my actual stash, not a stock photo...and not all of my colors are here...yikes!

| FIVE |

My favorite mascara is this one...I don't use it on my own lashes, but I use it on the fake ones and they make them look extra long and full.

OH and honorable mention is this Highligher...it's amazing! So what are some of your make up favorites?  Jump on over to The Blended Blog to see what products are others favorites and link up your own make up favorites!

This make up look using all of these products except the mascara and the highlighter. Lip color is Mulled Wine.

Friday Favorites #156

Hi Foxy Friends! Happy Friday! Today is my day off, woo hoo, I love my off Fridays, makes the longer work days the other 9 days worth it. Having our friends over for dinner as usual...have no idea what I'm making for dinner...at least this is our last non-meat Friday, at least where we are making dinner. What to make, what to make....anyway, here are my Friday Favorites.

In case you missed it this week:

Monday: $10 Target Haul
Bonus Monday: My Favorite Hair Products
Tuesday: 3 Tips To Plan A Surprise Party
Wednesday: Favorite Cold Should Sweater
Thursday: Trying 15 colors of Lipsense

CrystalBethJess  and Stephanie host a monthly link up, it's simple, 5 things that bring you joy. So here are my 5 things for the month.

| One | That Lipsense video up there, it was so fun to make/edit and I love make up. I'm finding a new love for making videos. I have so many ideas in my head and not enough hours in the day.

| Two | New friends. I've been going to the gym with this lady for the past couple of years, and we've been friendly and talked, our kids go to the same school, but recently we've been talking more and we're finding that we have so much in common and are wondering why we didn't talk sooner! It's always fun finding new friends. Plus they kids get along with our kids and the husbands get along...so it's win-win. Glad to have new friends to hang out with.

| THREE | Throwing my aunt her surprise party. It was the best. Read all about it here.

| Four | These kids. They are at such a great age. Great to talk them out, to travel with them and to explore the world with them!

| Five | Friday night dinners with these folks. We swap whose house we go to each week and it's the BEST way to end the week with good friends, movies and snuggles.

Other things happening in my world. Ice cream dates, those are fun. No one can turn down Thrifty's ice cream.

Legoland trip a couple of weeks ago, was so much fun, we were only there for 6 hours but it was so fun, and the weather was perfect and the ride lines were short!

This girls started soccer last Saturday. Amazing what a year will do. She's right in there, and not the youngest on the team...woo hoo! Oh and she posed like this all on her own. I did not have anything to do with it.

Mini Fox is getting so strong. She stayed like this longer than any of the boys in her class. She's one touch chick.

This made me laugh, once a dad always a dad. I was coordinating with my dad picking up Baby Fox from school and this is how he ends our conversation.

Also you know a huge group message was going around while you didn't have your phone on you during surprise party when you see how many text messages you have.

Last week we celebrated Mr.'s birthday. The day of was just a normal day, baseball, I left my phone at the gym, so had to leave the kids with him to go retrieve phone, luckily it was exactly where I left it on the treadmill an hour later! This is why I love my gym so much! But we did celebrate the next night with some friends.  I made prime rib that came out perfect!

Made a carrot cake...everyone said it was really good.

And sang happy birthday...it was a great evening.

Here's to many more birthday celebrations!

This is just a feel good segment from American Idol...which I thought went away? I'm so confused...why is it back?

I need this in my office, I think all of us could use it right about now.

Yep, this. I need this in my life.
