Last year I saw Andrea post her favorite Prime Purchases, and she was linking up to Tayna
who hosts the link up. Super fun, right? You see what I'm buying that I don't need/purchasing and we all get to then want to buy all the things, keeping the economy going right there. Click here to see my past purchases. Okay let's get started!

I bought this cute sweatshirt for St. Patrick's Day and it is probably one of the softest sweaters ever and you need to go get yourself one too!
But if graphic sweaters aren't your thing, I also bought this super soft sweater. If it has stripes most likely I'll buy it, it's an addiction I tell ya! Pictures of both of these sweaters coming soonish...
I just got this at Target, but they also sell it here. Sometimes you just want a little tummy control and I think this Body Suit is the way to go. It's not super constricting, but provides that little but of control without making it so you can't breathe. Plus I like that it's a bodysuit and does not have the leg part, as that is always what is so irritating when going to the restroom! They are reversible, I got the Black/Grey and have the White/Nude on the way.
While we are on the chubby containing garments, Deena suggested getting these and I have them on order. Yep I'm okay with wearing granny panties if it helps with the pooch, you know what I'm talking about...please say you do. I'm still waiting for them, so I'll let you know how it goes.
We also bought this iPad cover for Baby Fox. He needed an upgrade after 3 years, and he loves this one. It has a handle and the handle folds down so it can be a stand, perfect.
So those are the things that we've been buying the last month. I also bought a bunch of things from Amazon for a craft project, but those aren't as interesting. But when I do eventually put it together, I'll show you what I did! So what have you been buying lately? Anything I NEED?!
Hi Foxy Friends! Today I'm linking up with The Blended Blog and our host Shaunacey from Simply Shaunacey. We're continuing with them Never Have I theme of the week, with things you will never wear.

First Trend
First up is the Wide Legged pant. I think they look GREAT on everyone else except me! I have tried so many times, but look how cute these pants are? One day I will find a pair that work for me! I guess I was digging the stripes when I made this.
Pencil skirts, do NOT work for this pair shaped body...I want them to look good, and I haven't worn them at different times in my life...but I need things to be flowy. I wish they looked better, cause they are so darn cute!
Cutout Booties. I know, they are super cute! But they look AWFUL on my skinny ankles and fat calves...so for now I'll just admire them from afar, because seriously, how cut are they?!
So what is a trend that you won't wear? I wish these would work from me because they are so stinkin cute, but they DO NOT look so cute on me! Go link up your post with Shuanacey or The Blended Blog. Then go check out what the other ladies won't be wearing this season.
Hi Foxy Friends! Sorry I accidentally took a blogging break last week. Deena and Abbie and their kids came to visit and all things blog went out the door. I had all intentions, but you know...friends.
I'm hosting over on The Blended Blog for our Monday themed day. Today we're talking about things we will never do...head on over there to check out my first one, I almost threw up posting the picture of it...go see what it is. Then come back here and see what my other 4 things I will never do is.
This picture has nothing to do with anything, but I just like jumping pictures. Abbie is a good jumping partner.
I will never...

Go to the Amazon, or somewhere with a ton of bugs that bite you. I am so allergic to them, it takes me months to get over one simple mosquito bite...I can't even imagine having 20+ bites at once. Watching the show Naked and Afraid is pretty much my worst nightmare.
| Three |
Bungee jump...I just feel like it's asking my body to do things that it shouldn't do...holy whiplash.
| Four |
Watch scary TV shows, I have an overactive imagination while sleeping and have nightmares for months after watching a scary movie. Even Stranger Things was too scary, 5 minutes in and I was out. Pretty Little Liars was borderline too scary for me...I had to watch that during the day. I like watching them, my night time dreaming brain does not.

Eat something in the shape of when they were alive. I can't do it, I can eat it if someone takes the lobster out of the tail, but can't do it myself. I start thinking of them swimming in the ocean all free and then I get grossed out and can't eat it. So no eating things in the shape of when they were a live. Mr. laughs and teases me that he's going to make a meatloaf shape cow to see if I'll eat it, lol.
So make me feel better about myself and tell me something you will never do. Go link up over on The Blended Blog something you would never do.
Hi Foxy Friends! Sharing a fun thing to do for your kids for Valentine's Day. We did this last year for our kids, and they loved it! We thought it would be nice to do some affirmations for the kids on the door. Instead of writing one affirmation per heart, we each wrote an affirmation on the heart, myself being on the left and Mr. being on the right. The kids loved waking up and reading what we had written to them each day.
Super easy, when I was making the hearts, I folded the paper in half, and then realized there was a natural line for us to each take a side. So no need to get fancy, make them different sizes and colors. We kept them up all year too. They are still on the door. I will probably take them down and save them in a book, and then start all over again come February.
Happy Monday Foxy Friends! Man the weekend seems to fly by and before we know it it's Monday again. Today over on The Blended Blog we're talking about our resolutions, goals, etc.
Every year I try to set a resolution, over the years, it ranges from things to help myself, such as learning how to do my make-up, learning how to do my hair, or organizing my home. You can see them all here. Last year I said I wanted to do Yoga, I wanted to give it a fair chance...and I failed miserably. I did it for about a month and just found that I did in fact hate it! I thought by making it a resolution, that I would start to like it. I did not. It was a chore that I HATED doing.
So this year, I'm not setting any resolutions. No word of the year. No specific goals like learning how to do my make up, hair or organizing the home. This year I'm going to work on being more in the present with my family, friends, job, etc. I guess you could say this is a goal, but I realize that so many times I'm thinking 3 days ahead of where I am, that sometimes I forget to enjoy what's right in front of me.
I rarely sit down with the kids to watch a movie. I'm going to try to do that more often, because that is what they are going to remember when they look back on their childhood. All those times I sat with them to watch a movie, played Chutes and Ladders, or made what they wanted for dinner. Because in the end it's all about the people around us.
So this year, it's all about the people in my life. So friends/family get ready to hear a lot more from me. Whether it's a text to say hi, or plans to do something. Also, thank you for all of those in my life who make my life what it is today. Okay enough of the mushy stuff. What is your resolution this year? Or goal, or new beginning? Tell me below and/or go link up over on The Blended Blog.
Hi Foxy Friends! Bringing you another try with me post. The first one was all about the Instant Pot Whole Chicken. This time I am bringing you a Crock Pot Lasagna. The reason I tried it? I needed to make something in the crock pot because we were going out and then coming back to our house for dinner with some friends. I didn't want to have to get take out, so I went to the crock pot. I felt like I wanted to eat lasagna, so I searched the internet for all the recipes. I didn't find one that I really liked, so I ended up combing a couple.

I liked that this one combined egg with the ricotta cheese, I have no idea what it does, but it intrigued me and I wanted to try it. It's not a crock pot recipe, but I was looking up lasagna recipes to see how people made it.
Plus I took from how my mom makes her recipe, she doesn't follow one from the internet, just the one she's been making the last 5,000 years (total exaggeration).
Okay so for my recipe...Of course I made a video, but also wrote it all out, so you can print it.
Ingredients You'll Need:
Lasagna noodles (the regular kind NOT the no bake kind)
3 jars of spaghetti sauce (I used Paul Newman, but I wanted to use Prego, but two stores I went to it was out, must have been a run on spaghetti sauce)
Shredded Mozzarella (no one has time to shred it themselves) I bought a 2 lb bag, but probably only used about 1 lb, more cheese the merrier right?
Shredded Parmesan (I used a little less than 8oz of it)
Ground Beef (I used the organic kind from Costco)
Sausages (I used the ones from the deli at Sprouts) - cut in circular sections.
Onion, diced
2 teaspoons of Oregano
2 teaspoons of Basil
Oil (of your choice) Slow Cooker (on sale for $22)
Ricotta Cheese
1 Egg
What To Do: Step 1: Using large skillet, place small amount of oil in pan and cook onions until translucent.
Step 2: While that is cooking, mix together your Ricotta Cheese and egg.
Step 3: Add ground beef to the onions until thoroughly cooked.
Step 4: Meanwhile, start cooking the sausage in another skillet. Once cooked cut into slices.
Step 5: Once the ground beef/onion mixture is completely cooked, add in the basil and oregano and stir, then add in marinara sauce. Step 6: Assembly -
Layer 1 - Add a thin layer of sauce to the bottom of the crockpot insert
Layer 2 - Add noodles in one layer, break up noodles to fit into curved part of insert
Layer 3 - Like a goon, think you need more sauce, so add more sauce on top of noodles
Layer 4 - Add some sausage slices, Ricotta Cheese mixture, Mozzarella Cheese and Parmesan Cheese
Layer 5 - Add some more sauce, because why not
Layer 6 - Add some noodles, breaking apart to fit in one layer
Layer 7 - Realize you don't need that much sauce and add cheeses and sauce, oh yeah forgot the sausage.
Layer 8 thru XX- Repeat layering in same way until slow cooker is full, end with the cheeses.
Step 7: Set slower cooker to low and cook for at least 4-5 hours. I cooked mine on high for 2 hours and low for 2 hours.
Step 8: If you want it to not be a big pile of gooey goodness, I would suggest taking insert of of crockpot so that it has a chance to cool down and become more solid before eating.
Step 9: Serve and be ready for amazing lasagna.
The reason I added so much sauce, I wasn't sure if the noodles would cook. I looked up several different recipes, and one did the no bake kind of noodles, which I didn't want to use. And the other one cooked the regular noodles. I decided to take a chance and use the regular lasagna noodles. Not knowing if there was enough liquid I kept adding sauce on the bottom and top of the noodles. But the last layer I decided not to add the sauce on top and it cooked just fine, so I don't think you need as much sauce...but it didn't taste bad with the extra meat sauce at all! Bad picture, but what it looked like the next day.
I hope you enjoy! Let me know if you make it, I plan on making it again soon!
Hi Foxy Friends! Today I'm joining The Blended Blog for our Wednesday fashion prompt, workout gear. The wonderful Shelly is hosting today's link up, So go link up your workout gear post on The Blended Blog or Shelly's blog. So I'm going to throw this out there, I'm probably the LAST person you want to take fashion advise from for workout gear. I have been wearing the same workout shorts for the last 14 years, no joke, these things were made to last! Case in point....Shorts from when I ran my 1/2 marathon 7 years ago. *Some of the links are affiliate links and I will either receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you click on it or if you make a purchase from one of these links, I may also receive a commission on the sale of the product. This picture, taken 2016, still wearing them, even the same shirt. I've tried so hard to find more pairs like it, but so far have been unsuccessful. I like them to be higher on the waist and for whatever reason, the people making running shorts thing everyone wearing them have runners bodies...FYI: I do not.
I have in the past 18 month or so discovered I like wearing bikes shorts, not the most flattering thing, but a good when you can't find any bike shorts and you're just tired of wearing the same shorts the last 14 years. Yep I just had to make that shirt for "Mean Girls" Day.
So as you can see my workout uniform is tank, sports bra and shorts of some sort. I figured out early on I can't wear any sort of pants, this might be TMI but I'm going to tell you anyway, I get heat rash super easy, so running with pants on, heat rash within 5 minutes. So during the colder months, it gets cold for me.
I do however like wearing workout pants for around the house. My favorite ones comes from Fabletics. I have two pairs now and they are so comfy and hold up well. These are the first I bought and my dad HATES them. This is the only picture of have of them. I used to wear them to physical therapy a lot when I had my ankle surgery, full story on why here. Here I am at physical therapy getting stim on my ankle.
I am LOVING these moto leggings, and they're on sale too! I actually have been wearing them like pants. I wore them on Sunday to do errands.
I haven't found a sports bra that I am totally in love with, I'm thinking I need to get some better ones...anyone have any suggestions?
I have been obsessed with making my own workout shirts lately. Case in point...
Perhaps I should go into business and make these. Anyone want one? How's $25 plus shipping? haha, just kidding, sort of. I'm thinking I need to add a few more to my workout wardrobe...how about "Today's workout is sponsored by Pizza"
Oh and I forgot to talk about my favorite shoes! Currently I really like these ones. I've gone through several brands and have found Asics to be the best for me. I highly suggest you go to a running store who has a treadmill and can assess how you run and workout and then help you pick the best fit for you.
Also, if you go to a turbo kick type class these are my favorite weighted gloves. They are one pound each and perfect for getting a little extra weight in on the arms while boxing around.

Happy Friday Foxy Friends! Wow this was a long week! And I have today off! haha. Today I'm so excited, I'm filming a Mukbang with a friend/blogger. Have you heard of those? Basically you film yourself while eating and chatting. Mostly people do them by themselves. I'm doing it with a friend, can't wait. Strange I know. Anyway, let's get onto our Friday Favorites.
Last Friday I took the day off of work and went to visit my cousins in LA. Well I met up with 2 of them, and then we went to meet up with another cousin at his work since we had never seen it. Yep some Emmy's his shows have won.
He took us out to lunch and then we headed back to my other cousins house to hang out. But before we did that I took my kids and my nephew (really it's my cousins kid, but that's just too long to say), to see where I went to college, we just barely stepped on campus, but I got some good pictures down Alumni Mall.
My aunt and uncle came and hung out too, wish we had gotten a picture of everyone together.
But the little cousins always have such a blast with each other. Case in point....they made up a whole dance about being cousins.
Too bad they don't get along at all.
Mini Fox started her month of horseback riding lessons that we got her for Christmas, yep just 4 lessons, and she's cherishing every single second of it.
I'm so proud of this kid, he goes to karate for about 5ish (on a good week) hours a week and loves every moment of it. I love that he's learning how to defend himself should the need arise and I really do think it helps his confidence and discipline. I highly recommend you find a martial arts studio for your kid. We're trying to get Mini Fox into it, but so far she's lukewarm on it.
Mini Fox decided she wanted to make soup at her preschool, so they did...the teacher let her put anything she wanted into it. I thought it tasted like tea, Mini Fox didn't like it, but I took a picture of her with the soup and her burrito (like mama like daughter), instead of eating the soup.
Nothing like a little spa time before bed.
This weekend we have no plans, we're having some friends over tonight for dinner, but Saturday and Sunday are free, probably cleaning up the house, putting away/find a place for all of the Christmas gifts...yep they're still laying around. I did however clean up 90% of the Christmas stuff, so that's a plus. Have a great weekend, see you on Monday!
