Easy Fall Outfit

Hi Foxy Friends! I know it's been a while! I have all these ideas of things to do, and then life gets in the way. Maybe I'll do better, but no promises. Anyway, I thought I would do an outfit post for you. This is my fall staple outfit. Jeans, tee, and a patterned sweater. Makes you look put together without trying too hard.

Jeans (similar) / Shirt (similar) / Shoes (similar here, here and here) / Necklace

See how adding a simple cardigan adds a little something to the outfit? This is one of the softest cardigans you will ever buy and they have 20+ patterns and colors.

My brother is getting married in less than a month and I'm trying out different make up looks. I really like these lashes, but you know how for photos you have to go a little darker and more dramatic then you would in real life...so might have to make the eye shadow a little darker. But digging the lashes.

Foundation / Dark Circle Concealer / Brightening Concealer / Eye Shadow (colors used are Pink Posey, Brown Sugar Shimmer, Rustic Brown and Pink Opal Shimmer)   / Lips (Berry Color) / Base eyeliner / winged eyeliner / Blush (Pink Posey  ) / Eye Brows

Can we stop to talk about this necklace? There is another layer, but for whatever reason I can't find it right now...granted I didn't look too hard either. But this necklace is PERFECTION! It doesn't tangle when you layer it and pretty much stays where you put it. They have different styles of layering necklaces and are under $50 for all three, deal!

So what is your favorite Fall uniform? My favorite tees, that I have in every color are these.

Until next time, I think I'm going to post my favorite Amazon buys on Friday, I've gotten a few things lately that I really love and you will too! See you soon and not in 3 months!

Friday Favorites #9 - The Softest Sweater And Some Flower Fields

Happy Friday Foxy Friends! So many pictures, so let's just get to it.

I want to shout it from the roof tops, everyone NEEDS this cardigan. Yes the all caps is totally necessary. It's the softest thing you'll buy for under $32 (it's $29.99 but with tax, ya know). Comes in different colors and patterns, just go get one, you won't regret it.

Jeans / Sweater / Shirt (similar)

My earrings are from my girl Jackie over at BEXO, I don't see these exact ones any more, but she has some other great options.

Sorry about the poor quality of photos, I went to take these pictures and Mr. calls me from Baby Fox's baseball practice, realizing he can't fit all of the equipment, that I drove over there because he was going to be late, in his two seater convertible car. So I had about 2 seconds to take these photos, and didn't have a chance to check focus, clearly I failed...I'll do better next time. Anyway, the shirt is from Sweetly Striped, I know I buy too much from her, but it's all too cute, and I like supporting small businesses. She has this cute romper that she just put up on the site that I might have to go get too.

Last Friday I took the kids to the Flower Fields and the pictures turned out so great! Someone on my FB commented how their kids would never take smily pictures like that, I told them it was years of yelling at them they couldn't leave until I got the picture I wanted. They've finally conceded and just smile because the know the torture will end sooner. haha, I like to think of it as good family time. LOL. We did get lost in a Sweet Pea maze for about 20 minutes.

But I did get some really great photos of them.

I tried to get some with me and the kids, Mr. had to work, and asking other people to take pictures is weird, I get pictures like this: Was thinking it would be more cropped in on our faces, so that you would see all the pretty pictures behind us...not so much.

I did crop this one and it turned out pretty good.

We did get one good one.

And then of course some selfies.

And the some really silly ones too.

Sustenance for the 2 hours we were there.

Not sure what they were doing here.

Don't worry I rewarded them with some In and Out for lunch.

Okay we'll move on from the flower field pictures now.

Other things we did:

Made some homemade sourdough bread

Started up with Friday Night Lights, it was so good to see the boys play again, they won!

Saturday was baseball, we held in there for a long time, but ended up losing at the very end of the game by 1, darn.

Afterward we stayed to watch a friends t-ball game, it was the cutest, the kids got some lunch from the snack bar, they loved it.

Sunday Mini Fox had horseback riding lessons, she's finally starting to gain her confidence back after falling off a month or so ago.

Sunday night we surprised my dad showing up with dinner and dessert for his birthday. That was on Friday, but we couldn't celebrate then because of Friday Night Lights and Saturday night he was at a track meet.

Monday we started school full time! It was wonderful and the kids are loving it. Not loving having to be woken up, since we went to school in the afternoon for Hybrid, but loving that they get to be with all of their friends. Adjusting to me having to make lunches for them the night before, not so much, lol!

Made some chicken salad with homemade mayo that a friend gave us from the eggs her chickens laid, it was delicous!

Tuesday was another baseball game, and we won! Finally, the boys have been working so hard, and their work finally paid off.

Do you ever find a pair of workout shoes and just love them so much you keep buying them? No? Just me? It always takes me forever to find a good pair of running shoes. I finally found them! I've bought these 3 times! This picture was taken back in January. And here I am needing to replace them again, I went to buy them, and they are $30 off! What? Yes please? But then that makes me fee like they are getting rid of them, and trying to clear them out...so I bought another pair...which makes me buying this shoe 4 times. I might even buy another one if I notice that they are selling out of the sizes.

I have to admit though, one pair I just keep for upstairs, so when I am working out in my bedroom or the office, which both have carpet, I only wear those shoes, so they don't get dirty on the bottom. So those I haven't worn too much.

I had these almonds the other day at a friends house and they were so dang good! They got them at Costco, but were sold out, so I bought some for us...I had no idea Almonds came in different flavors. If you are making a charcuterie board, these would be a fantastic addition to it.

I've been looking around for some good jean shorts, these are so comfy and perfect for summer! They come in a ton of different colors, are stretchy and not tight on the waist and for $26.99, they are a great deal! I'll try and take a picture of me in them soon. The pictures do not do them justice, it has 6,651 4.5 star ratings...pretty dang good for a piece of clothing if you ask me. The fit true to size, I wear a medium in shorts and these fit well. I could probably wear a small because of the stretch, but they're shorts and I like to be comfy.

Okay, that's all I have for today. This weekend Mini Fox has her First Holy Communion retreat (outside), and then next weekend she gets her First Holy Communion, with restrictions, etc, we have to pair it down a lot, so it's just close family coming. It will be the first time we step foot inside of church. We've been watching our church that they stream on YouTube and sat outside once for Easter, we're excited to be getting back.

Have a great weekend!

Friday Favorites #4

Happy Friday Foxy Friends! I have today off, woo hoo! I love my off Fridays, I think I'm going to get some clothes altered...I have a stack in my closet that desperately needs altering #shortgirlproblems. Anyway, let's get on to this weeks favorites.

The last couple of weeks I've been participating in #styledacrossthestates, each week a theme is chosen and then everyone styles that thing. This week is stripes. It's like they were speaking to me, my closet is heavily striped things, so much so, that I have to force myself to not buy more stripe things! Anyway, I just got/bought this outfit yesterday, from my girl over at Sweetly Striped. She's a Mama owned small boutique that is all online and she is killing it!

This body suit was just released this week and is the softest thing you'll every wear. The body suit part is so comfortable, and that is saying a lot, I HATE body suits. Not this one, so comfy and stretchy.  Since Sweetly Striped is a small business, if you want this, you gotta get it now, sizes are limited.

My attempt to be a real model and pretend to laugh.

If you want to join in on the #styleacrossthestates DM @jessicakienbaum and @meginspiredstyle for next weeks theme!

This girl has been wanting the ice cream man to come around our neighborhood but he just never does. Yesterday was her day. I hear her running around the house trying to find me, and when she does, she screams I hear the ice cream man, let's go, let's go. I told her most likely not at our house, but low and behold he was at our park. She throws on some shoes and goes running towards the park as I grab my wallet. She's probably 40 ft away and he starts to drive away, I'm way further then that I so I give him my famous whisstle, which makes him stop his truck look over at me, while I'm signaling for him to wait for us! She was one happy camper. It was a buy 3 for $10, so of course we got 3.

Mini Fox really wanted to try and catch the sneaky Leoprachaun, she didn't succeed this year, but next year might be her year.

She has a bed, flashlight, book for him to read, and a table with some pistachio snacks on it. She wanted to catch him but not be uncomfortable. She even made him a to-go bag for the nuts, which he took on his way out of the trap.

On Sunday Mini Fox had her usual horseback lesson, only this time, she fell off her horse. She wanted to go one way, but the horse had other plans and went the other way and she fell off. Luckily she was able to maneuver in a way that she landed on her butt and her arm. It could have been so much worse. But she got right back up there and kept going. Trooper. Suffice to say I got her whatever lunch she wanted, she picked Panda Express.

Her class hatched chicks and she gets to hold them every so often, the highlight of her day.

Baby Fox started baseball practice this week, and he's so stinkin' happy. And somehow Mr. got roped into being coach even though he knows nothing about teaching baseball...watches a ton of it, but has never taught anyone to play. So no pictures, because you know guys, if you forget to remind them to take pictures, none get taken. Next time, I'll try to snap one. First game is Saturday, so excited!

Last and certainly not least, it was Mr.'s birthday on Monday. While we didn't get to make the fancy dinner we had hoped for (blame a new baseball schedule), we did get some yummy food and some friends(the only family we've been quarantining with) came over to help celebrate.

I made his favorite Carrot Cake, and this weekend we're going to have that dinner that we were planning on making on Monday. We got him this golf rangefinder that he had wanted, and he was so happy and excited to use it this week.

This is a journal we add to every year for his birthday and Father's Day. See my tiktok explaining the concept. We love it, and seeing what the kids wrote back when they were 1, is a adorable.

Hope you all have a great weekend. We're going to watch Yes Day on Netflix, with Jennifer Gardner. My high school friend's daughter is one of the kids in the movie, so go support him and his family! So excited for her, this is her first big role. Happy Weekend!
