The Geek In Me

Baby Fox's remote control car broke in half, yep that cheap little plastic could not hold up to a 2 year old, go figure. So what does one do when faced with a 2 year old asking Mommy to fix his car?

Glue? Nope. Electrical Tape? Yep! And that's exactly what I did, used electrical tape to fix that bad boy up, can't even tell I used it.

I used electrical tape to fix my phone too. Hey it had a black backing and it wouldn't stay on, so I used electrical tape. The AT&T guy actually laughed at me and said he's never seen such good work, he didn't even know I had tape it, it was that good. So if you ever need anything professionally taped back together, I'm your girl.

Yes I realize I am the biggest nerd ever, but my profile did warn you.

Work It!

I got cleared and am working out again, yay! Let me tell you, the Double Bob is a freakin' beast! Seriously, it takes so much arm strength to just push it a foot, I might die.

My first week working out again was last week, I am part of this thing called Stroller Strides, it's a great way to socialize with other Mom's and get a great work out in. This isn't some sissy workout, it's hard core, especially on Friday with this lady. Everyone knows Friday is a great workout before the weekend, she teaches several different workout classes around town and is an awesome motivator.

End of class ab workout, yep, I was taking pictures while others were doing abs, the three ladies standing on the left, are pregnant and due soon, I give them a pass.

Last Friday all the kids dressed up and we did a little parade and stroller trick or treating, I think Baby Fox is the cutest one out there, I might be biased though. Mini Fox was in costume, but she slept through the whole thing.

Halloween Fun!

I know you're back to find out what we were for Halloween:

I'm a Park Ranger trying to tame all of her animals.

If you can't tell, Mini Fox is a monkey with that red tutu I made yesterday
We went trick-or-treating with the same group of friends that we've gone with the past two years, we say, if you do anything twice it's a tradition, so we continued with the tradition and ate dinner and did some trick-or-treating. Sort of crazy that we went from 3 kids to 6 kids between us in 3 years.

Cutest picture of the night? Baby Fox pulling his friends in the wagon, how appropriate that the zebra was pulling the princess and pirate.

Other honorable mentions:

It got a little scary when the bear broke free and tried to eat me

But luckily these ladies were there to save the day

So instead of eating me, he did this

Phew, that was close.

And to end the night? All the kids ready for bed

More Tutu Fun!

Made Mini Fox a new kind of tutu. We decided to change her costume, from my original idea so I got to make a new tutu. I didn't make a tutorial because I wasn't sure if it was going to work. But if I do it again, I'll definitely make a tutorial and it will be better, since this one didn't turn out perfect, and I know how I can make it better. But if are just itching to make a tutu, then I sort of followed this and this.

It came out almost perfect, I won't tell you the imperfections, cause it still works, and I'm sure she's only going to wear this once...so why spoil the fun?

This was going to be her costume:

My little pumpkin

And then I just decided to have fun with the tutu, since it was already made

Happy Halloween. Stay safe, and I'll post what our family theme is tomorrow! So come back and see what I used that red tutu for :)

Halloween Project

You know I had to do something, I can't remember where I saw this, so I can't give anyone person credit. But here's our version, simple easy to do. We did 6 of them in about 10 minutes. It only took 10 minutes because Baby Fox kept wanting different colored feet, and we'd have to wipe off the last color to put the new color on.

Happy Halloween!

Tutu Fun

Remember the tutu I made? If you forgot, it looked like this:

I told you that it was part of Mini Fox's Halloween costume, but last minute, we decided to change her costume, but I couldn't let this perfectly cute tutu go to waste, so I did what anyone else would do, cute photo shoot with my girl!

So her original Halloween costume idea: A cute little pumpkin!

Big Brother wanted in on the action, his hat was from my brother and sister-in-law, it doesn't quite fit Mini Fox, so naturally I put it on Baby Fox

Those cheeks...I die!
Brother and SIL also sent this onesie for Mini Fox, of course the tutu went perfect with this outfit too, so...another photo shoot!

Nana bought the cute headband and shoes

Now you'll just want to wait for her actually Halloween costume, I know you can't wait.

Hint: Mr. wanted a family theme, like the last two years (1 and 2), that's why we changed Mini Fox's costume

Swiss Cheese House

Hey sorry I've been MIA lately. The simple slab leak turned into a complete re-plumbing job. This is how my house currently looked last week:

The plumbers came and just threw everything into one room, literally

I about had a heart attack when I saw all of these holes in my walls and ceilings. The amount of dust and dry wall floating around is insane, I might go insane trying to clean it all up.  On a positive note, our water gets hot mega fast.
