Hello Foxy Friends! This month the ladies over at The Blended Blog are linking up our Fall Favorite things. Today I'm talking about my favorite Fall plaids and lipsticks.
I got this plaid shirt for one of Alison's Challenges, I was NEVER a plaid girl, but for some reason this one spoke to me, it comes with a detachable hood, which I always take off.
For my hair I decided to try something new, I'm trying to branch out from following YouTube videos and trying my own styles.
During Fall I love wearing dark lipstick. I'm actually shocked I'm saying this, back last year I wouldn't hardly wear any lipstick, and a dark one at that? Crazy talk! But now...I love it and I can't get enough! What I have on is this Mac Lip Pencil and this Mac Lipstick.
I love this color as well, I love the Kylie Jenner Lip Kit in Spice because it's all day wear, put it on once and don't have to worry about it the rest of the day. No brainer if you ask me! And while I was writing this post I just bought this one too...oops! I have an addiction. Thanks a lot Christy!
Any plaid shirts or lipsticks I need to check out?

Happy Friday Foxy Friends, I skipped last week because I was just too tired to pull together a post on Thursday night. But I'm back and you're going to get two weeks worth of favorites.
Halloween, we had so much fun with our friends, this is the 6th years we've gone trick or treating with them and had an absolute blast!
The kids didn't hit up a lot of houses, mostly because they were too busy doing this after each house...
We always have to get a group picture, the first time we did it, we asked this guy and he literally said they turned out great, and then there were NO pictures on the camera...literally, he never even pushed the shutter button. So we had to ask someone else, and then of course the kids were all breaking down because we made the stop twice...
Some of the kids left before we got them in their pj's...it's tradition.
The kids are obsessed with Zombie pictures...I'm not sure why because they have never seen a zombie movie before...
And a blast from the past...
2015
2014
And some random pictures of life lately.
Baby Fox got sick, and while that's not my favorite, what is, is that Mini Fox got out her stethoscope and was making sure he was okay...so darn cute.
We got to decorate our chocolate house for Halloween, occupied the kids for a while.
Baby Fox is just loving soccer, he has the best coach (who happens to be my elementary school friend, and a really good friend of my brothers). Only one game left, going to bring the big camera and take some good pictures.
Went on another business trip, but got one of these for the first time in a long while, worth every calorie!
Got together with another elementary school friend and his kids...hard to get all of the kids looking at the camera at the same time.
There we go.
Took the kids to the mall and Mini Fox was scared to go on this ride, so Baby Fox held her hand tight so she wouldn't be scared.
Then this one got sick...it was so sad...luckily it didn't really turn into anything.
Of course we voted on Tuesday, I know there is so much going on about that, but we just want to teach our kids to be responsible and a good citizen and vote to make a difference.
I've been following Kayla on Youtube for a while now. To be honest I'm not entirely sure why I watch her videos, she does Erin Condren planner stuff (which I find fascinating but don't do) and she has a sticker business. I guess I find her voice nice and her videos are well done? Who knows, anyway, this week she posted on her blog that she originally started her business, Oh, Hello Stationary, as a card business but somehow it evolved into a full blown sticker business. She decided she was going to revive her original dream and start offering cards again. And guess what? She's doing a monthly subscription, where you get a grab bag of 5 homemade cards for $7 a month! Say what?!
You get one birthday related card, and 4 seasonal cards. Think about it, if you go to Hallmark you get one card for $4.99, and here you are getting 5 for $7. I think that's a steal, I couldn't jump on that subscription fast enough. Now the $7 is only for people that do auto renew, otherwise it's $8, and you can cancel at any time. I'm so excited to get my first shipment...I'm going to use this opportunity to send out snail mail to friends and family throughout the year. I mean who doesn't want to get snail mail? Who's with me?! No this is not sponsored, I just really hope she does well, and like what she is offering.
I also got these Kylie Lip Kits, I am so stinkin' excited! Like I need more lip products in my life...wait what am I saying? Yes I do!
I just love this song and WOW...gives me goosebumps and just really gets me into the spirit of the season.
Happy Thursday Foxy Friends! I have tomorrow off, so today is my Friday, woo hoo! I thought since the holidays are upon us and we're all probably going to be going to a few parties I would give you some easy/fun gifts for your Hostess. I know it seems like something of the past, but I think it's always nice to receive a hostess gift, especially if you're organizing a big party, it's nice to be recognized for a job well done. I've come up with a list of 25 ideas, most of which are under $30, so let's get to it.
These hostess gifts are for any time and any season.
Some of the links are affiliate links and I will either receive a small commission if you click on it or if you make a purchase from on of these links, I may receive a commission on the sale of the product. By purchasing through Foxy's Domestic Side, you're helping me to continue creating fun things for this space.
I thought it would be nice to have a few Thanksgiving hostess gifts as well. I didn't want to go overboard and pick out a big turkey, but something small that adds just a little something to someone's home.
