What's In My Purse

Hello Foxy Friends! I thought it would be fun to talk about what's in my purse. I grabbed it from by the front door and started filming. This is my purse, it was my 40th birthday gift from Mr. that I got to pick out in Canada when I went with my girlfriends.

I've paired down what I keep in my purse a lot, I used to carry my day planner in there, everywhere I went, but I also take a backpack with me to work, which holds my planner and my lunch and water. It was too much trying to stuff it all in my purse. It's working out much better for me.

Here is a video in case you would rather me talk about what's in my purse.

So let's talk about what's in my purse. The first are these two pouches. The pink one has seen better days.

The first pouch came with this purse and holds my car keys, work badge and for some reason my AAA card is in there. Also the whole keyless entry to the car, throws me off, I spend more time now trying to remember the last purse I used which is where my keys are. Need to figure out a better system.

I took my work badge out for privacy reasons, same with turning my AAA card over.

The pink pouch came with another purse, and it's just traveled from purse to purse. This pouch has random things in it, mostly a catch all that has the things I don't want floating on the bottom of my purse. Yep you see that correctly, that's an iPod Touch there circ. 2007. I was so excited to get it and thought that the screen was so big...not so much any more!

Of course got some Lipsense in there, my favorite pen, can't get better than 12 pends for under $6. Then there are pencils that are randomly in there from the kids. Mini Fox likes to have an array of writing utensils in case she wants to doodle.

These don't need much explaining, but those sunglasses are awesome and are under $15. I have to have cheap ones, I loose them too quickly to get the expensive kind.

I have no idea why there are so many tissue packs in my purse. Well, I do, I bought them and I was going to distribute them in my car and other purses and the kids backpacks, but it ended up in my purse and not distributed. Oops, maybe I'll go do that now. Not sure if you can tell but they are super thin packaging which I really like.

Random papers in my purse, a play bill from my kids school Lion King Jr., some church documents and some medical bills that I've paid and I stuck in my purse so I could fill out the forms to get paid back through HSA.

Then of course my wallet, which has my credit cards, cash, gym membership card, allergy shot card check in, etc.

Then at the very bottom of the purse were these toys Mini Fox got at the pizza place near our house when we went there the other night with friends.

So there you have it, everything in my purse. What is the most random thing in your purse?

Sentence A Day: February Edition

Hi Foxy Friends! Yep, we're continuing on with Sentence a Day! Thank you Rebecca Jo for starting this, it's such a neat way to document life. Also thank you Leslie for always sending out the reminders.

1 - Crafting in the morning followed by the kids school play, then dinner with friends makes for a great day.

2 - Cousin Superbowl party, so much fun, but took us almost 2 hours to get there...yikes, only took 1.5 to get home, so there was that!

3 - Well I just built a whole set of drawers upside down...darn, going to save this problem for future Sarah tomorrow.

My drawer building helper, she is super encouraging, I think you should hire you as your cheerleader

4 - Happy Birthday Mom!

5 - Mini Fox back in gymnastics, it's like we never took a break.

6 - Mini Fox doing her horse thing, she learns so much each week.

7 - Bubble Jog-A-Thon for the kids, a 3rd grade performance, and a football game and Mini Fox headed to the mountains with my parents and sister, very full day.

8 - Off to the mountains for a quick trip with the family, thank you Uncle M for getting us the cabin to spend some family time.

9 - Home early from the mountains, did some crafting and then bowling with friends, fun day.

10 - Oh no, Mr. is sick and we leave in 3 days for Canada...come on antibiotics, kick in!

11 - Packing up all the things for our trip, probably bringing too much, but whatever.

Anyone else pack with cubes? See how I pack in cubes here.

12 -Oh geez, Mini Fox has a fever...please let it go away so we can get on a plane tomorrow!

13 - Leaving on a jet plane, so stinkin' excited to see everyone and spend the long weekend with friends (Mini Fox woke up fever free, phew)!

14 - Happy Valentine's Day, spent the morning hanging out, then we drove out to the resort, stopping at Deena's parents house where they fed all 15 of us, so nice of them!

15 - Today is the day we spend outside, the weather was perfect, did curling (or something like it), ice fishing, ski-doo'ing, ice skating and cross country skiing for some, happy to be here with friends, tried to find the Northern Lights, but it started snowing, so it wasn't in the cards for us.

16 - Drove home from the resort, Deena and Abbie surprised us with a photoshoot in the snow, then Deena and Abbie threw us a pot luck party with their friends where we at all of the Candian food and learned how to cross country ski, super fun.

Come back Friday to see the rest of the photos

17 - After being super busy all weekend, taking today for the kids to lay low and hang out and the adults did some skeet shooting, so much fun!

18 - Sad to leave our friends, it was a LONG travel day, 12 hours...now to get ready for the week.

19 - Working from home, getting some stuff done after our vacation, no way was I going to wake up at 3:15am today.

20 - Baby Fox had his first baseball practice, Mini Fox stayed with some friends at the park during practice while I ran to the doctors to get my allergy shots, thankful for friends who watch my kid.

21 - Baby Fox played in his football tournament, two games and they did great in both, but they lost.

22 - Opening ceremony for baseball was postponed, so Baby Fox went to Karate, Mini Fox had a horseback riding lesson and then a chill family movie night (we watched Harry Potter And the Goblet of Fire).

23 - Mr. made dinner tonight, crockpot chili, it was yummy plus chill day makes for a good day.

24 - Mr. went on a last minute evening out with friends, he brought back pizza, I was okay with that.

25 - Baby Fox had Cotillion tonight, so stinkin' cute.

26 - Dropped Mini Fox off at gymnastics then took Baby Fox to the gym to take my favorite workout class, finally something in the schedule for me.

27 - Mini Fox has learned so much in the past 9 weeks of horseback riding lessons, so happy we are able to continue.

28 - Twin day at school, the kids were so cute with their friends, then pizza party for the end of the season football party, pretty good Friday.

29 - Full day on this extra February day, baseball pictures, soccer game, baseball game, then I went and got a massage and dinner with a friend, while the rest of the family went to a friends house.
