Friday Favorites - My Happy, Their Happy And Things You Need

Happy Friday Foxy Friends! Today is unfortunately a work day (for those that don't know I get every other Friday off) and I have a ton of work to get done today, darn. If you missed it, I am showing you how I style this dress three ways. Go check out that post and then go look at all of the fun stuff my girl Natalie from My Cute Closet has to offer. Anyway, onto some Friday Favorites.

We are still in the throws of sports season. Baby Fox had a football game on Friday and the little siblings watching on the sidelines was just the cutest.

Baby Fox was picked to be on the All Star team for our city, so we told him as a celebration he could get a new bat, he was so excited.

Mini Fox ha finally gotten some of her confidence back after falling off her horse a couple of months ago. Funny, that after falling off they decided to switch horses and give her the biggest horse they have, but she seems to prefer her, so that's good.

Things that make me happy, we went to a birthday party, and the kids had a blast.

The flowers blooming in my yard right now.

We have these notes, and the kids like to leave them around. I was doing the dishes and when I turned around no kid, but this note was left on the counter.

Then I was working and turned away for a second (kid said, hey mommy what's that over there?!) and this note was left on my computer.

Got my hair done yesterday, I feel like I should have scheduled a Mom's night out, missed opportunity there.

You can't really tell here, but I got some purple tint in there for summer. Not sure why Mr. decided to take a side shot view? lol, men.

Things that make the kids happy, and thus me happy. We saw the trash truck coming...the kids immediately ran to watch.

The trash man waved and made the kids super happy.

Baby Fox comes home after football practice and says, do you have any graham crackers and frosting, I said no to the crackers, yes to the frosting why? He says he has a project and it's due tomorrow, of course. I told him this was the one time I will go to the store the night before a project is due.

This was him making a video for his project, turned out not a huge project, he had to show how tectonic plates work during an earthquake. Yes all that frosting is just wasted, insert sad face, although I had no plans of using it so that's good.

Early in the pandemic, Mr. was the only one leaving the house to go to the store, I told him I needed some corn starch and he came back with this monstrous thing. I never thought i would get through it, but I'm almost out, I'm shocked.

Some favorites. This is my FAVORITE wine from Trader Joe's. It's slightly sparkly and the perfect, summer, wine or wine to drink with friends. And the best part, it's only $5.99 a bottle. Go grab some next time you are at TJ's. You'll see it right away if you look for the yellowish top and it sticks up above the other bottles by an inch or so.

Also ordered these shirts for me and the kids for Memorial day and 4th of July. Girls got red, Baby Fox got this black one, but it comes in a ton of colors, so get yours now.

I might have also gotten Mini Fox this romper and this romper for 4th of July festivities. We finally get to hang with our cousins again and we're making it a multi-day event, obviously need more than one outfit.

City Little League Championship baseball game is Saturday. Wish us luck, hopefully next week I can tell you we are the city champs, then onto the Tournament of Champions where we go up against other local city Champions. Fun times over here, then when that is over All Stars begin. Summer full of baseball.

Little Black Dress Styled Three Ways - Date Night, Brunch, Shopping

Hi Foxy Friends! Back with another outfit post. I know who am I? It's like I'm a fashion blog...said no one ever. Anyway, I just got this dress from the cutest shop, called My Cute Closet. It's a local mama owned shop and her stuff is just the cutest. This dress is so cute a few of us bought it. She has no idea I'm showcasing her today, so give her some love on IG, and tell her hi, and check out some of her stuff.

Anyway, I thought I would style this dress three ways: a date night, brunch or a day out shopping.

First up is the day out shopping. Nothing says shopping like a good pair of tennis shoes. You've seen these before.

If you're out shopping and you get a little cold, nothing like a cute jean jacket to go dress anything down just a bit, but still look SUPER cute.

Jean Jacket (similar)

Okay, now you've just woken up and your friend has called and wants to go to Brunch. You need a super cute outfit and quick, use this same outfit, but add sandals instead.

Sandals (similar), These ones are super cute with the bow, same company that mine are from (so size up, I ordered them in my size and needed to size up)

Alright, after brunch, you've now been asked on a date, switch out those shoes, add some darker make up and you've got the perfect date night outfit.

Pump (similar)

You could change out your jewelry too, add a cute sweater and call it dat night.

So that is three ways to style 1 dress. So for under $35, I think you should all go get this dress! Sizes are super limited so get it quick!

Friday Favorites - Mother's Day and Lost Teeth

Happy Friday Foxy Friends! Today is my day off, so I'm getting a ton of errands done and then we have football tonight and no baseball game this weekend, next Saturday is our city championship game, the winner goes on to district games. Have no idea how that works since this is our first year doing this. I'll keep you posted.

Lets get to our Friday Favorites
We'll start with the biggest of the week, Mother's Day. It was pretty low key but I loved every minute of it. We took Mini Fox to her horseback riding.

Came home to some wonderful flowers and cards and candy, a way to my heart.

Then met up with my parents and sister for lunch at one of the best pizza/sandwich place. They might have had my all time favorite meatball sandwich. So glad my mom recommended it to us.

Then home for relaxing and family movie night. We watched the 3rd Narnia movie and we're so excited that Netflix has picked it up.

This kid did great at his last game. They killed the other team and we're headed to the city championships next Saturday and we're so excited. Plus he made All Stars, so we're going to be living baseball a bit longer.

And then football season also continues until mid June I believe.

This girl lost not 1 but 2 front teeth on Mother's Day. The toothless smile is just the best!

We've started going out to restaurants and went out with some Friday last Saturday and it was so much fun. It even, dare I say, felt normal? I mean minus the whole mask thing. The only picture I got that night, oops!

I also went out with some friends last night, first time we've done that in a LONG while at a restaurant and it was so much fun.

You all know how much I love Color Street, wanted to show you my nails, this is day 3 (Swiss and Tell and Coming Up Rose Gold)

Day 9

Day 13

Hope you all have a great weekend! See you next week!
