Favorite Sweater/Leopard Fashion - I Might Have An Obsession

Hi Foxy Friends. It's been a hot minute since I did a fashion post. But since quarantine started I've been on this leopard kick that has not stopped. I'm not kidding, I've bought 4 pairs of leopard print shoes...I know where am I wearing shoes to? Anyway, the leopard doesn't stop there, I've bought so many leopard sweaters...I live in Southern California, in case you didn't know, sweater weather here is about 2.5 seconds. Okay so let's get started, so you can also get these fun and cozy, soft goodies!

First up is the latest thing to join my collection of ever growing sweaters. Mr. keeps asking me where I am going to wear these things...I keep saying, around the house? It is one of the softest things EVER. My friend happened to be over when I got it in the mail, and she immediately went online and got one for herself. Of everything on the list get this!

How gorgeous is this sweater? It's the perfect length and the softest thing I've ever felt.

The pockets are so comfy, fits my phone perfectly.

The jeans I'm wearing are so stretchy and comfy. I've linked the same brand but different pair, as I can't find the same exact pair that I have on.

The second sweater is one that I bought sometime last year and it's great too. A friend also bought this and we try not to wear it at the same time. Not as soft as the one above, but it immediately ups a pair of jeans and shoes. I usually wear, these slip ons, but I was losing light and needed to take quick pictures. I love those shoes so much I wore out my first pair and am on my second pair! Go get yourself a pair too!

The third sweater, I'm not really sure where I saw it, but I saw it and knew I had to have it. It's great color blocking. So many times I see sweaters and the color that is closest to the face is some sort of orange color, yellow or some color that looks awful next to my face. So when I saw this I had to have it. Unfortunately I can't find the same colors, but this is the sweater I bought from this vendor. This sweater is soft and something that I don't currently have in my closet, color block sweater that is. Surprising I know.

The last sweater is actually a dress. I bought this originally to wear for our family photos, but decided to go in another direction, but kept the dress because it was under $20 and how could I not keep it? It comes in 9 colors, I might have bought 4 colors for the family pictures, but ultimately decided to keep just this Mauve color one.

I got a medium, but probably could have gone to a small, although I would have lost a little length, and I feel this is already at my shortest I would want to go.

This next sweater is one that I constantly grab as my "I'm cold and need to get warm" sweater. I know two other friends that have this same sweater and we're all always wearing it. It also comes in different patterns, like this plaid on the top instead (sort of want to get this one too), and the black and leopard one.

Told you I was obsessed with leopard!

Honorable mention. I actually bought this sweater, but I have claustrophobic issues and I had to return it, but not before wearing it around the house for about 5 minutes, before I had to tear it off. I'm so sad, because it's the cutest and so soft! Another friend, the same friend who bought the above sweater, bought it and hers shrunk in length when she accidentally dried it, so don't dry it if you don't want to loose length.

Oh yeah, forgot about this one too, it's super lightweight and perfect for lounging around the house.

And it had pockets...need I say more? Hey there are those slip ons I was talking about.

This leopard shirt was a dud...don't get it, it's super boxy and wasn't very flattering. I just got it and still need to return it, luckily Amazon has a great return policy and it's super easy.

When I tell you I'm on a leopard kick, I'm not kidding, I also bought these heels, where I'm going to wear them, I have no idea! I just love that they are a subtle hint of leopard and for $30, yes please! How could I turn that down?

I bought these slip on shoes too, full confession I bought them freakin' twice! Once online and then a few months later I was in the store and bought them again.I had a feeling that I already had them, but because I hadn't worn them, I didn't really remember, and it was such a good deal, that I had to buy them. Don't worry, my mom ended up buying them off of me, so I only have one pair. They are so comfy that I wear them with no socks and no blisters while out doing errands. Run don't walk to go get yourself a pair. In case you wanted to know, this is the other pair I bought, it has a cute zipper detail that is good cute to pass up. It's the pair that I kept.

Also got these cute wedges on the recommendation of Kellyann ...this is just getting embarrassing now...

Okay one more pair, then I promise these are all of the shoes I bought during quarantine...wait that's a lie. Darn. I can't find the link to the other pair...but know I bought a pair of leopard sandals. I did also buy these running/workout shoes. They're comfy and I might have bought two pairs. One to wear while working out outside, and one for the house. Everyone does that right?

We'll not get into all of the workout/lounge wear that I've bought. But some of it is in this post

If you're still with me...I know it was a long one with lots of words, here is a close up of my make up.

All make up is from my girl Becky, you can find her on FB or IG

Colors I used:

Eyes: Plum Berry, Smoke Shimmer, Ballet Slipper, Shell Glitter

Blush: Plum Berry

Eye brows: Rustic Brown

Lips: Dusty Rose

Not sure why my outfit posts and turning out blurry, they don't look like that when I load them, but are coming out blurry in the post...need to figure that out.

5 Tips for Online Shopping

Hi Foxy Friends! Today over on The Blended Blog we are talking online shopping, cause I know I'm not the only one that does online shopping! Here are my tips and tricks for online shopping.

Only buy things you know you can return. I pretty much never take any risk and only buy things that I can return. Occasionally I'll take a chance, and almost always it comes back and bites me and I have to eat the cost of that thing, darn it. I'm talking to you Jane.com clothing. I'll buy other things from there but not clothes, it's so hit or miss. Although one thing I scored on was this skirt...that was pretty awesome. Unfortunately she doesn't sell this skirt any more. But this one is pretty close.

TWO

Always look for a coupon code. Retail Me Not usually has some good ones. I also use Wikibuy. I've had good luck with that. I wrote all about it here.

THREE

Always price compare. Unless you think it's a screaming deal, always check to see if you can find it cheaper somewhere else. I just highlight the name of what it is I want, enter that into Google to see if it pops up anywhere else. The desk I got, I found $50 cheaper somewhere else, all by Googling the name. Currently it seems to be $150 everywhere, so if you need a white desk, get this one...it's an awesome cheap white desk. It also comes in black and espresso, with free 2 day shipping, can't beat that!

FOUR

If you can, buy things that you can return to the store. I know this is a weird one, but I really prefer to buy things that I can return to a store, like Nordstrom, Target, DSW, Loft, etc. Those are my go to places, leaving it up to the postman to get my stuff back to the retailer, makes me super nervous. So I will almost always buy from them. The few things I've returned to Amazon, the seller either has to decide if they want to take back your product, like what? Take that back yo!

FIVE

Stalking a product like no other. Find something you really like, but it's slightly out of your price range? You better believe I stalk the heck out of that thing. Sometimes you can figure out when their sales start, but mostly I don't try that I just check back weekly if something is new, and then every few days after that. I figure if it's meant to be, I will get it for a cheaper price. I'm always so excited to find something on sale. My most recent stalk purchase, were these shoes. Currently they are $5 cheaper than what I got them for...hmmm...what other colors do I NEED? All of them? Okay not really, probably the red and maybe the navy? Or Pale Gold? That one is pretty, decision, decisions.

So those are my 5 tips for online shopping. What are your tips? Anything you want to share that I missed? Head on over to The Blended Blog to link up your Online shopping tips, tricks or finds! Comes back Wednesday to see what I am actually buying online!

What I Have Bought Recently

Hi Foxy Friends! Today I'm finally sharing what I got at the Ulta 21 days of beauty event and Shein! I find that Shein is hit or miss, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I loved almost everything that I bought (the grey sweater gets an eh, a little scratchy). Here's a video with the break down of everything, including a video of me wearing the clothes. Speaking of which, super awkward posing for a video instead of a picture. You feel obligated to do something cute...how do people make it look so effortless?

If you want to see closes ups of the lipstick colors or the clothes I got, click on the links below.

From Shein:

Love Tee
Grey Sweater
Lace Tee
Grey Striped Dress
Polka Dot Shirt
Floral Shirt

From Amazon:

Disposable Nail Art Ring

Anything you getting from the Nordstrom sale that I NEED? I'm seriously considering getting these sandals, this sweater and this jumpsuit (but shortgirl problems it probably won't fit, that model looks tall and it's long on her!). But haven't hit buy yet...

Didn't make it to the video, but I really love this desk tripod too! It's sturdy and you better believe I'll be using it for some tutorials soon! Oh and in case you were wondering I use this program for editing my videos and photos.

My Nordstrom Anniversary Haul

Happy Hump Day! I thought since everyone else was doing it, I might as well jump on board too. Last week I told you that I wanted to try and snag from the Nordstroms Sale. I didn't get all of it, but I did get most of it. Here's the break down.

First I would like to say, imagine Mr. and I sitting on the couch side by side shopping the Nordstrom Sale at midnight...that's love I tell ya.

I'm always looking for some good jeans. I don't have any distressed jeans so I thought that I would try these two out, and the grey pair of jeans I have are more loose fitting, so I'm hoping that these work out. I do have bigger calves so I'm hoping these aren't too tight on them. It totally a random thing that I happened to pick the same brand for everything. The best part none of these jeans are over $60, maybe that's why I picked the same brand, they were a good price point.

Jeans I bought at #NSale

I need some PJ's, I bought a bunch of winter ones last year...actually the kids bought me them for Christmas. But it's hotter then heck down here, and it's not cooling down that much at night, I need some cool PJ's. Donuts and Purses on PJ's, my two favorite things (even though I can't eat donuts any more, I still love the way they smell, weird I know). I have a few shorts that I wear and the ONLY tank tops I have for bed are nursing tanks...Mr. said I haven't nursed in over 2 months, it's time to give them up. I hoping these work, they have the support bra in there, fingers crossed.

PJ's I bought from #NSale

Strips and dresses, always a win in my book. I can see that blue dress styled so many different ways, I really hope it fits! Junior dresses are really hit or miss with me with the sizing. This is very similar to my other lace dress, but this one was just too cute to pass up. The shift dress just looked comfortable and perfect with a pair of leggings and some boots for the Fall, it was like calling my name.

Dresses I bought at #NSale

Funny I only found 2 shirts that I just had to have. I love strips, can you tell? And I have this blue shirt but the 3/4 sleeve one, I thought I would give this one a try, the other one is super comfortable. I've really been into looser tops lately, I hope this don't disappoint.

Shirts I bought a #NSale

Here's the category that just wraps up everything else I got. I am so happy that I got the Lorac palatte. I remember last year Jen got it and by the time she posted her haul, they were sold out. I was determined this year to get it, for $15...why not right? I had it in my cart ready to go at midnight on Thursday/Friday and once it hit midnight I did a check out. So glad that I did, along with a few other things I knew it would sell out. And you know what? It did, after I checked out I continued to shop and I didn't see it listed any more in the beauty supplies, so glad that I did that. I might have checked out another 3 times after that...

The purse is like the one I got, but doesn't have the side zippers or tassels, but they were sold out online with the one I got. Sheaffer has been raving about the self title Blardigan (part blanket part cardigan) for years now...I finally just bite the bullet and got one! It's almost $30 off the original price. Seriously everyone who gets it says that they live in it in the fall/winter months. I'm really hoping it works out!

The Kate Spade earrings I got as gifts, for $25 worth it. I got the candles as hostess gifts, since it comes 3 in a pack for $15, thought it was worth it, small gift that smells good, who wouldn't want that? Yes, I would break these up, so I now have 3 hostess gifts. Does anyone else do hostess gifts when going to a party?

The only thing Mr. picked out were jammies for the kids. We got each kid a pair, they absolutely love matching pajamas, how cute are they going to be in these PJ's?

The running shorts I got because...well, they were $20 and I need some running shorts. Although it is the only thing I've gotten and I'm not sure I like the fit...going to see what else I'm going to keep from the sale, and decide from there. If I'm keeping a lot of what I bought, they'll probably go back, if some of the stuff I got doesn't end up working out and I'm returning most of it, then I'll keep them. Random decision making tactics right there.

Stuff I bought at #NSale

I don't have those Tom Wedges, but I do have a similar pair from Target, totally not the same, but they look pretty darn close.

#Nsale Fall Outfit

I didn't buy all of these things, but I have those leggings, SO comfy. Another Sheaffer recommendation, that girl is always spot on. Also I have a leopard scarf and cognac boots, although those Frye ones...love/want still.

#NSale Fall Outfit

It seems like I bought a lot, and did, but most likely I will keep maybe half of it because of fit. But if you had to chose, what would you pick? What did you get at the Nordstrom sale? Was anyone else as excited as I was. Seriously it's my favorite sale of the year.

Nordies

I shop at Nordstrom's - for those that don't frequent, aka Nordies. And I just discovered one more reason to love them even more, so I thought I would share it with you.

1) They have the best most fantastic return policy. I mean seriously, I order hundreds of dollars online, mostly because I'm ordering 2 sizes in everything, and they take it back no problems asked. I like returning to the store so that I can shop around some more...win-win in my book. Oh and there is really no time limit on when you need to return.

2) On their website you can search by price (love that you can specify sale items), size, color, brand, etc. what better way to shop than to search for exactly what you want. Plus the extra stuff on the side bar sort of helps too - it says "hey if you don't like that you might like this" Some people find it annoying, I like it cause sometimes you just don't see that option.

3) Their women's half yearly sale, what gets better then getting stuff on mega sale. They have the sale going on right now, in case you wanted to know.

4) And I just found one more reason to love this store...they are actually celebrating Thanksgiving, they aren't opening on Thanksgiving day for people to shop, they are letting people stay at home with their families and hang out and be thankful for each other and everything around them.

Now get to shopping at Nordies we want them to keep bringing on the good deals.
