Friday Favorites - My Happy, Their Happy And Things You Need

Happy Friday Foxy Friends! Today is unfortunately a work day (for those that don't know I get every other Friday off) and I have a ton of work to get done today, darn. If you missed it, I am showing you how I style this dress three ways. Go check out that post and then go look at all of the fun stuff my girl Natalie from My Cute Closet has to offer. Anyway, onto some Friday Favorites.

We are still in the throws of sports season. Baby Fox had a football game on Friday and the little siblings watching on the sidelines was just the cutest.

Baby Fox was picked to be on the All Star team for our city, so we told him as a celebration he could get a new bat, he was so excited.

Mini Fox ha finally gotten some of her confidence back after falling off her horse a couple of months ago. Funny, that after falling off they decided to switch horses and give her the biggest horse they have, but she seems to prefer her, so that's good.

Things that make me happy, we went to a birthday party, and the kids had a blast.

The flowers blooming in my yard right now.

We have these notes, and the kids like to leave them around. I was doing the dishes and when I turned around no kid, but this note was left on the counter.

Then I was working and turned away for a second (kid said, hey mommy what's that over there?!) and this note was left on my computer.

Got my hair done yesterday, I feel like I should have scheduled a Mom's night out, missed opportunity there.

You can't really tell here, but I got some purple tint in there for summer. Not sure why Mr. decided to take a side shot view? lol, men.

Things that make the kids happy, and thus me happy. We saw the trash truck coming...the kids immediately ran to watch.

The trash man waved and made the kids super happy.

Baby Fox comes home after football practice and says, do you have any graham crackers and frosting, I said no to the crackers, yes to the frosting why? He says he has a project and it's due tomorrow, of course. I told him this was the one time I will go to the store the night before a project is due.

This was him making a video for his project, turned out not a huge project, he had to show how tectonic plates work during an earthquake. Yes all that frosting is just wasted, insert sad face, although I had no plans of using it so that's good.

Early in the pandemic, Mr. was the only one leaving the house to go to the store, I told him I needed some corn starch and he came back with this monstrous thing. I never thought i would get through it, but I'm almost out, I'm shocked.

Some favorites. This is my FAVORITE wine from Trader Joe's. It's slightly sparkly and the perfect, summer, wine or wine to drink with friends. And the best part, it's only $5.99 a bottle. Go grab some next time you are at TJ's. You'll see it right away if you look for the yellowish top and it sticks up above the other bottles by an inch or so.

Also ordered these shirts for me and the kids for Memorial day and 4th of July. Girls got red, Baby Fox got this black one, but it comes in a ton of colors, so get yours now.

I might have also gotten Mini Fox this romper and this romper for 4th of July festivities. We finally get to hang with our cousins again and we're making it a multi-day event, obviously need more than one outfit.

City Little League Championship baseball game is Saturday. Wish us luck, hopefully next week I can tell you we are the city champs, then onto the Tournament of Champions where we go up against other local city Champions. Fun times over here, then when that is over All Stars begin. Summer full of baseball.

Non Candy Valentine's Day Gift for Boys and Girls - Tik Tac Toe

Hi Foxy Friends! I cannot believe that it is almost February! How did that happen? I have a fun non candy Valentine's Day treat to share today. You can get some of the stuff from Dollar Tree, but make sure to go early next year. I got my stuff 2nd week of January and when I went back a week later, all of it was gone. So make sure to be on it for next year! But good news, Amazon has all of the stuff too, and for a reasonable price too. So no need to panic, you still have time to put this together! Really you could make these for any occassion, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, 4th of July. Just change out the jewel color or rock colors. Okay let's get to the quick tutorial:

Things You'll Need:

Heart Burlap Bag

Plain Bag (4x6)

Acrylic Hearts

Black Rocks (similar)

White Permanent Vinyl

Black Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV)

Craft Pick

Contact Paper

Squeegee

Cricut I Use

Easy Press I Used, but you could use a household iron as well.

Parchment Paper

Note: If you don't have a Cricut you can always use a fabric pen for the Tic Tac Toe and a Paint Pen for the rocks.

Directions:

Here is a video I put together on how to make this. I would consider this a beginner Cricut project. I can't wait to give it to our friends.

Step 1:  Create the correct size X's and O's and tic tac toe board and names if you are personalizing it in cutting machine program and cut out. If you would like the SVG that I created, please email me!

Step 2: Iron on the names and tic tac toe on your bag. If you got bags with hearts on it, iron on the name over the heart. If you didn't get the bag with a heart on it, cut out a heart with HTV and iron that on first and then iron the name on. In general I do 305°F on my Easy Press, but look at the directions of your heat transfer vinyl. Place your HTV on the bag, then put a piece of parchment paper between your HTV and your iron or press. Make sure to try and not put the iron over the strings of the bag. Sometimes if there is a little unevenness it is hard to get a good press and will result in your HTV not sticking.

Step 3: Put your X's and O's on your gems or stones. I didn't use the transfer tape, but if you want perfection use your transfer tape, but I found it to be faster to not use it. With how many of them you have to place, I would definitely just use them like stickers.

Step 4: Package them up super cute to give to your friends.

Here is a pin for later:

Prime Purchases

Last year I saw Andrea post her favorite Prime Purchases, and she was linking up to Tayna who hosts the link up. Super fun, right? You see what I'm buying that I don't need/purchasing and we all get to then want to buy all the things, keeping the economy going right there. Click here to see my past purchases. Okay let's get started!

These jeans, are a MUST get. I've worn them so many times, and 5 of my friends also bought them. They are the most comfortable things you will ever wear and you can wear them all night and there is no hiking up. Size down 2, seriously, I was worried, but I sized down 2 and they fit PERFECT!

I wore this exact outfit to our baseball fundraiser this weekend.

Shirt / Shoes (on sale right now and comes in 7 colors)

We are on bottle 2 of this for Mini Fox, it's the best. It can be left in or washed out, which is good when you don't always get all of the conditioner out. And it makes her hair so easy to comb and super soft. Highly recommend this.

We bought this tie for Baby Fox's 1st Holy Communion. You see that black part, it's actually a zipper, so you pull on the back side, it just zips closed or open, it's pretty awesome! Highly recommend this!

It would have gone all the way up to his neck, but he didn't like it, so we put it slightly lower, gotta pick and choose your battles!

I have been making some crafts lately that require glitter, I might now have a glitter obsession. So I put the glitter I buy in these containers, they are great little containers.

In case you were wondering...this is what I've been making. I take a steel tumbler and put glitter, vinyl and epoxy on it. Eventually I'll do a post on how I do it, but gotta get my butt in gear first.

It's a tumbler...I wanted to know how to make them, so I made the machine that helps me make them and I started making them. I've made 3.5 (one is currently in process) and I sort of love it, so if you know me, you're most likely going to get one.

Last thing I bought, was this workout tank. I've decided I hate all of my workout tanks, none of them bring me joy, so I'm going to start buying ones that do bring me joy. This one brings me joy.

So that's what I've been buying lately. I bought a bunch of other stuff and returned it...and I've bought the kids some stuff too, like this 4th of July T-Shirt, so cute right? Tell me what I NEED. Yep need.
