Happy St. Patrick's Day Foxy Friends! Hope you are all wearing green, else consider this my virtual pinch. My first full week at work in a LONG time, I had been traveling so much that I never was working on Friday, good for those times, boo for this week. Anyway, let's jump right into it.

It was Mr.'s birthday this past Wednesday. He didn't want a big party...and swore to me that if I threw a surprise one that he would have it in for me...so I didn't. I was good and we laid low. On Tuesday we went to my parents for his favorite meal my mom makes, lasagna...which of course I forgot to take a picture of. I did however take one of Baby Fox preparing the bread...he was very particular how the olive oil was administered.

Mini Fox is really into crafts and being an artist, as she says, and made Mr. a birthday crown. She cut all of that up, put it together by herself and then presented it to Mr. So darn cute.

On his actual birthday he just wanted it to be us 4, so we went to our favorite Mexican place and chowed down and then came home to some homemade carrot cake, recipe coming soon.

Everyone was done was done with selfies, but got one of the birthday boy and the kids at least.

I'm joining Desiree, Stefanie, Justine and Whitney for their new link up called A Year Of Color. Each month they want us to showcase the color of the month, however you want to represent that. This month is green, obviously.

I thought this month's color for green was perfect, I mean it is St. Patty's Day! Today I'm sharing the picture I'm going to use for our year family calendar. It seems like it gets harder and harder to get pictures of the kids each month...come on kids work with me here!

Linking up with The Blended Blog for some Friday Loves.

First up is my girl Cara, she's got it all going on, and she's a pro at make up for beginners, seriously she has the best tips. This week she talks all about color correcting. I've always wondered about it, but never done anything with it, because...well, lazy. But look no further, she's got it all written out and ready at your finger tips.

Christy was this weeks host on The Blended Blog's Tasty Tuesday, and she introduced me to my newest NEED, yes I said need, I NEED this french fry cutter.

And of course some videos I've been loving lately

How cool is this? What happens to water in space.

You have to watch this spoof...it's hilarious! And somewhat true when you're sort of first starting out doing make up, LOL. I definitely have been the victim of the, the sales lady is super pretty and intimidating, I'm going to buy this so she just goes away, hehe.

What?! This girl is 3!! She is Mini Fox's age...I can't even...

Hope you all have a great weekend! My Mother in Law is coming into town to help us celebrate some more and we're headed to a soccer game (Mini Fox) and a baseball game (Baby Fox), and of course the two games are at the exact same time...happy weekending!

The Picket Fence: A Baby Store and More

Disclosure: I received product to facilitate this review. All opinions expressed below, however, are always 100% my own and a reflection of my thoughts on the product and company.

Hello Foxy Friends! I recently discovered a store called Picket Fence: Baby Stores Pittsburgh that has a little of everything. They say they are a baby store, but in all reality they have so much more. When they asked me to pick something out, it was so hard to pick just one thing, I really wanted it all! I ended up picking this tunic, for all of you tall gals out there, this is what you need, it's super long and oh so comfy.

See how long it is?

See a little too long for me, I think, so I ended up tucking it in and just love how it looks, super comfortable and light weight, perfect for the Winter/Spring transition. I threw on some white pants to bring out the color and make it feel a tad bit more Spring.

Tucked all the way in

Half tuck for the win.

If I had all the money in the world this is what I would buy from them. Seriously cuteness overload.

Spring Floral

Happy Hump Day Foxy Friends! It's all down here from here right? We changed the clocks this weekend, which means longer warmer days are coming. So sorry if you're stuck in the middle of the horrible snow storm...but I thought I would share a recent purchase from Old Navy, like I got it in the mail, threw it on and took pictures kind of recent.

*Some of the links are affiliate links and I will  either receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you click on it or if you make a purchase from one of these links, I may also receive a commission on the sale of the product. By purchasing through Foxy's Domestic Side, you're helping me to continue creating fun things for this space.

I know I'm going to get a lot of use out of this dress this Spring and Summer. I've been looking for something floral, and I finally found it.

The shoes are no longer available but these and these are similar.

The earrings I chose are a gift from a Andrea for my birthday.

We're in the third week of my Hair 101 series, and today I'm bringing you something a little more complicated, than bobby pins and teasing your hair. I'm going to show you how to pancake your braid. I know, seems complicated, but trust me it's not. It just takes some patience and the know how and you'll be set to go. In full disclosure, while editing this video I realized it was getting too long so I split it into two videos. The first part is how to pancake your braid, and the second one, is an easy hair out of your face hair style you can do with a small pancake braid, I do this mostly when I have day 3 hair of no washing.

Now get to linking up below. Thank you for the continued support and all of the links!

Spring Wedding or Easter Attire

Happy Tuesday Foxy Friends! Easter is right around the corner so I thought I would share some of my favorite Easter outfits. I even put together a whole family outfit for you, now you don't have to do the thinking. When I think of Easter i think of bright pastel colors. I love how the Dad's shirt matches the color in Mom's Dress, and then the kids outfits tie into Mom's dress...not too matchy, matchy in my opinion. You could also wear this to a wedding if you have one coming up, two for one, that's what I like to buy.

My Life in 5 Videos

Happy Monday Foxy Friends, I hope that you had a good weekend. Our weekend was very full and very fun! Today I thought I would share some videos I've been taking lately. Don't worry they are all under 30 seconds each. But this is my life lately in 5 videos. One of them is my bailing down a mountain...don't worry I was laughing and it was just funny that I feel just trying to stop.

Baby Fox is doing so well with baseball, he is loving every moment of it, which is all that matters right?

Nothing motivates someone like the prize of getting to wear goggles at the end of it. We did the same thing with Baby Fox, if she swam across the pool, he was allowed to wear goggles in the pool.

Then this happened, over and over. I can see what our summer is going to look like. Oh and in case you were wondering, yes we heated the pool, otherwise it was in the 60's.

A few weeks back I mentioned that Mr. and I went snowboarding...well this is me falling down the moutaing, gracefully? Maybe not, but it was funny.

Second time, phew, didn't fall, so much pressure when you're being filmed. It doesn't seem like we're going fast, but to me it seems super fast. Perhaps that means I can actually go fast, since in reality it's not that fast? Did that make sense? Hmmm...???

Alright that's enough embarrassment for one post. If you're having a bad day, hope this made you smile/giggle a little.

Friday Favorites #107

Monday: Kids Behind the Blog - March Edition
Wednesday: Maxi Dress Combo and How I Tease My Hair
Thursday: Girl Chat - Luck

Bonus Thursday: Over on The Blended Blog talking about styling a pearl necklace two ways

Don't forget to watch my new Hair 101 video series I've started. So far we've covered how to use a bobby pin and how to tease your hair, if you have any requests let me know and I'll work on it for you!

Last weekend was the started our first baseball season. Practices on Friday and games on Saturdays. Next weekend Mini Fox starts soccer so we're going to be knee deep in kid sports in a week...

Baby Fox was the cutest little baseball player ever.

Getting ready for pictures:

Then came opening parade all the kids were too cute.

Then a couple of hours later we played the longest game ever...who knew 4 innings would take 2 hours!

He loved it and can't wait for his next practice and game today and tomorrow.

This past week we did a playdate on Sunday, it was so much fun, just us mom and the kids. The play place we went to was super small, so no matter where you were standing you could see your kids, so we actually got to chat...which was great for a change. And I only took one picture, darn. The kids were so cute too. This girl is showing me good form.

Then we headed to lunch, the kids were great and we got to chat some more.

That night we got invited to go see a show at the Improv, it started out shaky but had me laughing at parts. So happy to have found some friends where we live that we can go on double dates with. Super hard to find other couples with kids where everyone gets along right?

As always, I'm linking up with The Blended Blog on Friday Loves, where we link up our favorite things from around the blog world. Because we all know we need just one more blog to read on the daily.

I loved how these four ladies copied each others looks. Each of them did a fabulous job styling outfits that looked like each other. Check out who copied who.

I just discovered Cecila's blog recently and she has the best crafts, DIY's, recipes, home stuff, what can she not do? She has a series of 15 minutes fixes and this week she show cased a St. Patrick's Day pennant banner. Super cute and most stuff you probably have on hand, why am I even buying this stuff from the $1/$3 section of Target, I could just make it!

As always, some videos I've been loving this week. This one made me cry...happy tears. We as mothers are so hard on ourselves, we ONLY see what we do wrong, how we feel inside, meanwhile all the little humans we're raising, really only see the good things we do and rarely remember the mistakes. So cut yourself some slack, I know I'm going to try to.

This was super cute, they bought fast food and then had to reinvent it into different food, and then serve it to someone...they are the cutest couple, and awesome singers too, so there's that.

What are you up to this weekend? We have baseball and ballet...then we'll see what other kind of trouble we can get ourselves into.

Girl Chat: Luck

I am so excited that Lizzie , Sierra , Danielle , Emily, and Lindsay are starting a new link up. I missed last month due to traveling last minute, but I'm hoping to join them each month. This month they've asked us to describe a time that you were really lucky.

You know I haven't shopped at Victoria's Secret in so long, but back when Baby Fox was little, I had bought a few things from there, and they gave me one of those cards, come back between this time and this time and you can win up to $500 gift card. Usually people win a free pair of underwear or a free bra. I had almost forgotten I had it, and I was in the car ready to go to the mall, and remembered I had it and ran up stairs to grab that card. I figured, a free pair of underwear is better than nothing right? So I'm at the mall, and turn in the card and the sales lady looks at me sort of funny, I ask if everything is okay. She says yes, that she's never actually seen any win before. Then handed me the card and said, you just won a $500 gift card!

Woo hoo! Made this mama's day, and I really needed it too, I was feel down in the dumps and this really perked me back up. Can I tell you how hard it is to spend $500 in one afternoon with a baby? Because the promotion was ended I had 3 days to spend it. So the next day we drove out to a bigger Victoria's Secret, one that carried bathing suites and workout gear, which made it super easy to spend.

How have you been lucky in the past?
