Have You Met Lisa From Daily Style Finds

Hi Foxy Friends! I hope that you all had a great weekend! Today we're following the February theme of love and doing a Love Hop over on The Blend Blog, sharing things we love about our fellow Blended Bloggers. Meet Lisa:

She blogs over on Daily Style Finds, seriously I don't know how she does it day after day, but she finds THE BEST DEALS, and makes the cutest graphics to go with. Don't tell Mr. I find a lot of my deals through her, but, she does find good deals, so if you buy it on sale, it's like you're spending half the money right? #girlmath

I met Lisa when we all went to Toronto. Funny, we never took a picture with just us two, so next time we meet that IS going to happen Lisa! We did take some fun group shots though.

Things I love about Lisa and you should too.

1) She's always cold, which makes me feel better about myself, because I'm constantly cold. So we get each other on that level.

2) She knows how to make you feel like you are the only person in the room! She's a great listening and conservationist. You don't feel like she's just waiting her turn to talk next, and gives really sound advise too.

3) She's awesome to travel with, go with the flow kind of gal. I like that. But does speak up when she wants to do something specific, so you never wonder if it's really what she wants to do.

4) Girl likes to shop

So now that I've told you all the reasons to love her, go hop on over to her blog and tell me you don't want everything...too many good deals to be had! Plus she's loving on someone else in the group, go find out who it is!

If you want to start from the beginning, the Love Hop starts here, or just keep going until you get back to me, either way works!

Come back tomorrow, where I am going to tell you reasons I would not survive a zombie apocalypse.

5 Things I Will Never EVER Do

Hi Foxy Friends! Sorry I accidentally took a blogging break last week. Deena and Abbie and their kids came to visit and all things blog went out the door. I had all intentions, but you know...friends.
I'm hosting over on The Blended Blog for our Monday themed day. Today we're talking about things we will never do...head on over there to check out my first one, I almost threw up posting the picture of it...go see what it is. Then come back here and see what my other 4 things I will never do is.

This picture has nothing to do with anything, but I just like jumping pictures. Abbie is a good jumping partner.

I will never...

Two

Go to the Amazon, or somewhere with a ton of bugs that bite you. I am so allergic to them, it takes me months to get over one simple mosquito bite...I can't even imagine having 20+ bites at once. Watching the show Naked and Afraid is pretty much my worst nightmare.

Three

Bungee jump...I just feel like it's asking my body to do things that it shouldn't do...holy whiplash.

Four

Watch scary TV shows, I have an overactive imagination while sleeping and have nightmares for months after watching a scary movie. Even Stranger Things was too scary, 5 minutes in and I was out. Pretty Little Liars was borderline too scary for me...I had to watch that during the day. I like watching them, my night time dreaming brain does not.

Five

Eat something in the shape of when they were alive. I can't do it, I can eat it if someone takes the lobster out of the tail, but can't do it myself. I start thinking of them swimming in the ocean all free and then I get grossed out and can't eat it. So no eating things in the shape of when they were a live. Mr. laughs and teases me that he's going to make a meatloaf shape cow to see if I'll eat it, lol.

So make me feel better about myself and tell me something you will never do. Go link up over on The Blended Blog something you would never do.

My Gratitude in 5 Pictures

Hi Foxy Friends! Today I'm linking up with The Blended Blog again for our Monday topic of the day discussion. Today is 5 pictures in gratitude...wow, 5 pictures huh? Okay let's gets started.

I'm grateful for this guy. Mr. is my rock and support system, my partner in crime and everything in between. He puts up with my incessant picture taking, my need to document everything, and goes along with the flow when I want to randomly stop to take pictures. He is the best fathers to our children, and my love for him grows everyday watching him with our children. Anyway...I'm not all about the sap life (yes I am, I just don't know how to convey it in words). So I'll just leave it at, I love this guy and all he does for the family and everything he does to keep me sane in this journey of parenthood.

Cousins...I love that we are close and that we are able to get our kids together as often as we can. Growing up I was always with my cousins and now that we are adults we have formed our own traditions with our families and I love it. Matching PJ's are really my favorite. This year, I found THE MOST PERFECT PJ's for this Cousin Crew.

Grateful for these kids. I know this is a weird picture, so let me explain. Baby Fox is probably only 15 pounds heavier than Mini Fox...we had to take Mini Fox to the doctors to get a wart removed and it hurt, and she cried a lot. I was carrying her, but had to set her down to get the keys, and Baby Fox, concerned gave her a hug and then asked if she wanted him to carry her. So he did, for about 50ft. He does this all the time, when she's hurt. She does the same for him. The love they have for each other, makes this Mama heart burst. I hope they are always this close and love each other this much.

New friends. I am so grateful that we decided to switch Baby Fox's school and with doing so have found a tribe of ladies who support each other, help pick up each others kids when we get stuck, laugh together, get advice from, drink wine with and do stuff like this Trunk Or Treat theme. Anyone willing to wear this in public is a friend of mine. So glad I get to spend the next at least 7 years with these ladies planning events!

Grateful for my blogging friends! Who know 4 years ago when I decided to do a clothing challenge that I would meet such wonderful that not only were blogging friend that have become in real life friends. It's pretty awesome when you read about someone for so long, and then you actually get to go shopping with that person, and you can walk into a store an know exactly what the person is going to pick out. It's so much fun, getting to know these ladies better, and I am so happy they are in my life, whether we keep on blogging or not, I know we will be there for each other...Next trip can't come soon enough!

I would like to add one more picture I'm grateful for. My aunt had her last round of Chemo, and Mr. and I were able to be at every single one of her infusions. Those words on the monitor were so sweet. I'm grateful for her team of doctors, for catching it early, for the medicine working and shrinking that little bugger, and for Mr. and my work being understanding taking so much time off work to be with her. This view was a view we looked at for many hours and I am so grateful I was able to take the time to be with her and my Uncle.

5 Favorite Hilton Head Purchases

Hi Foxy Friends! Finally Friday! Felt like a super long week but we made it to Friday! Remember this picture from last week Hilton Head recap? Yeah...that was just one day...we had another day with just as many purchases. We really helped the economy when we travel...we all bought so much we thought we would share our top 5 favorite things we got.

*Some of the links are affiliate links and I will  either receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you click on it or if you make a purchase from one of these links, I may also receive a commission on the sale of the product. Click here for my disclosure page.

This (similar) red coat, I die, it's so cute. Do I need a coat? No...did I get it anyway, yes. You'll be seeing it a lot...going to wear it any time it dips below 65°(18°C). So Shaunacey might kill me (but she looks super cute, so hopefully not) for this...but she bought the same coat and I didn't take a picture of my jacket. It has the cutest hood EVER! I feel like little red riding hood.

Date Night Dress, it's like I HAD to buy it. A Michael Kors dress for $34 yes please! I have yet to wear it, as the date night we went on last weekend we didn't want to dress up. Maybe I'll save it for Mr.'s birthday in March.

My favorite part is the straps.

I wanted to buy another cross body bag, and I didn't have anything in brown. I like that it is bigger than my other cross body bags and can fit more crap...stuff in it.

Brown Kate Spade Bag (similar)

While at the Kate Spade outlet...I NEEDED this bag, I mean black and white stripe? It was calling my name too. But I had already fond the brown bag...so what did I do? I bought both, duh...it was a "good" deal.

Black and White Kate Spade Bag   (similar and similar

I bought this bag on the way to the airport...yep we stopped at the outlets, so that we could stop here to buy bags so we could get all of our purchases home! haha. Oops.

Vera Bradley Travel Bag (similar not the same color)

Now go check out everyone else's favorite purchases from our trip.

5 Fall Traditions

Hi Foxy Friends! Happy Monday! I had a 3 day weekend, it was nice, and I am finally getting better. Apparently the doc thinks I was having asthma, need to follow up with my regular doc, but good news the inhaler is working and I can almost breath again! Woo hoo! Anyway, I'm linking up with The Blended Blog and their Monday theme of Fall Traditions.

We don't necessarily have  "Fall" weather meaning last weekend was 86°F (30 °C - you're welcome Canadian friends), and we were melting at soccer. But here are our Fall Traditions.

Fall in our world means soccer. Baby Fox has been playing the last 4 seasons. And we look forward to it every year. And just this Fall Mini Fox has joined in on the fun. The last 2 years she did Spring ball, but this year she wanted to do Fall, and she is having a blast.

His first game, it was over 100°F

Apple picking, it's so fun, but again, usually really hot! We went once when I was pregnant with Baby Fox, and then the last two years we've been able to go, apple picking is so short here, but we've made it up there twice now and the kids love it!

Halloween! Of course, I wasn't a Halloween person before kids, but now that I have them, I'm all about them! From making them to buying them, I love it all! Once of my favorite years.

The weather starts to turn cool, and we can curl up on a Sunday with a movie and blankets and do nothing all day. It's fun to just be cold for once and bundle up. Which makes getting up for work so much harder!

The Pumpkin patch...we go every year with friends and it's so fun. Although we are having a tough time finding time to go with our friends this year...with our silly soccer schedule it's hard to find a big chunk of time on a Saturday. Hopefully we don't break our 7 year tradition!

2016

2017

Aww, going through these pictures makes me sad that we might not have time to do it this year...gotta find the time in the next 10 days, we can do it!

Alright, those are all of our Fall traditions, head over to The Blended Blog to link up your Fall traditions!

HIlton Head Girls Getaway

Happy Friday Foxy Friends! So sad that I'm not with The Blended Blog ladies any more, but so, so grateful for the 5 days I got to spend with them. Thank you to Mr. for holding down the fort while I was gone. I won't go into all the boring details, but let me recap the long weekend for you.

It started out rough, 9 hours on a plane, followed by 2.5 hours at the airport, followed by 4 hour drive from Charlotte to Savannah. My day started at 2:30am PST, and ended at 1am EST...long day, but I finally got there! Bonus that they found my luggage, after it and me didn't make our connecting flight.

Friday, it was so good to see all the girls! Reuntied after 17 months of planning! Way too long, but so worth it to get 5 whole days together! Well 4.5 but let's round up. First thing we had to do was drive the the airport to drop off the van I rented and pick up another van to avoid the high one way fees, and pick up Lana's luggage, so it worked out. Then we went shopping!!!

Successful shopping trip!

Saturday Deena made crepes...yum!

Then we all headed down to the beach for a bit.

Went to lunch where we could walk there, that was nice.

Then did some pool time.

We all decided we wanted to do fancy dinner Saturday, so we got dolled up.

But first some shopping! Cause duh.

Took forever to seat us...

I got the corn soup and we all got some guac, both were delicious!

Sunday Shaunacey made a gorgeous breakfast spread.

Some of us went shopping, while two of them stayed behind the beach and pool. We only had 3 hours to shop till we dropped...we took advantage of every minute. I might have bought two purses from Kate Spade.

She bought two of these, one for her and one for her sister because she's a bad sharer.

Then we headed back to pick up the girls and grab some lunch.

Gotta love portrait mode.

After lunch we hit up a few stores that we wanted to see. And went gator hunting.

Then headed back to the house to relax.

Sunday night we decided to do what girlfriends do and go to the movies. We went and saw A Star is Born, I liked it, the singing was amazing.

Monday we had to say goodbye to Lana, so we headed into Savannah to explore a bit before her flight.

Lunch, yum.

One last picture together...wahhh!!!

Monday night we pretty much hung out and did nothing...then just before sunset we decided to go get some pictures, we got ready in about 5 minutes and drove the 1 minute to the beach, cause we were losing light.

What a picture session with out a jumping one? This is the best we got.

We went back and ate all the food and drank all the things. And played games....it was such a great weekend.

Thank you ladies for the most memorable trip, for relaxing, shopping and doing all the thing girlfriends do. I don't even know what my world would be without you! Until next year!

Love you!
