Sentence A Day February Edition

Hi Foxy Friends! Another month passed, how does that happen?  As you know, we like to record our month, one sentence at a time. I love looking back and seeing what we were up to on those random days. Join us, it's only March 5th, you can catch up! Thanks to Rebecca for thinking up this idea so many years ago.

1 - Friday night stayed in and did family movie night, watched The Antman and The Wasp and ate dinner and popcorn, perfect evening.

2 - Birthday party for a friend followed by celebrating my Mom's birthday with a movie and dinner.





3 -Went to a friends house to watch the Super Bowl, host made homemade pizza, ate too much food!



4 - Started another 3 day cleanse, every time I do this, I question my sanity.

5 - Survived day 2 of the cleanse...why did I do this again?

6 - Last day of the cleanse and I managed to get in a really good workout, that was nice.

7 - MNO, just what I needed!



8 - Got my hair done and then dinner with friends, great end to the week.



9 - Family movie night and some ribs, yum!



10 - Craft day with mom and her friends for some Valentine's Day making.


11 - Ampa took Mini Fox out of school for a bit to go do her favorite thing, volunteer at Peanut Butter and Jelly for the homeless.



12 - Mini Fox's first baseball practice, her team is small but mighty!

13 - Baby Fox's baseball practiced cancelled, but Mini Fox still had gymnastics, and I still got to go to the gym, which I wasn't going to be able to do before.

14 - Karate class for Baby Fox while I did a Barre class, my butt hurts!



15 - Dinner with friends, made butternut squash lasagna, delicious!

16 - Mini Fox is full on sick, poor thing, Baby Fox went to a baseball game with Ampa while we stayed back and watched Little Mermaid.

 17 - Left Mr. and sick girl at home while Baby Fox and I went to our cousins baptism.



18 - Strep throat for the girl...poor thing!

19 - Girl is feeling so much better, thankfully!

20 - Back at school and hating the antibiotics, 8 more days of it, haha!

21 - Poker night at our house, so took the kids to dinner, sometimes I question my sanity when I do this.




22 -Friday night baseball practice, brrrrrr......followed by family movie night, Iron Man 2.


These two are the cutest, playing while big brothers practice, they are also on a baseball team together.



23 -Baseball opening season, picture day, the kids are the cutest thing ever, Play Ball!





24 - Got to see Lana, and then didn't take ANY pictures, of us together, darn it, did get this one though.


25 - Woah, that workout was so hard, I might not be able to move tomorrow.

26 -Mini Fox was not feeling baseball practice, I hope this was a one off thing, else it's going to be a LONG season.

27 - Got a good workout in, makes me happy.

28 - Much needed MNO, we didn't have enough for Bunko so we went to dinner instead, pretty great consolation prize.

TBB Asks: March Edition

Hi Foxy Friends! Another month past, which means it's TBB Asks Monday! How does the months fly by like this? Anyway, this month it's all about shopping, so let's get to answering.


Shop Till You Drop


1. Top 3 Shops? Nordstrom, Target, and Amazon (does that even count?)

2. Where is the majority of your shopping done - In store or online? Online for sure. Desk job, need I say more? But I always shop at places I can return in store, Nordstrom, Target, Loft (when I shop on Amazon, I rarely return stuff.



3. What's your favorite thing to shop for? Clothes and shoes!

4.  What do you just HATE shopping for? Umm...I don't think that's in my vocabulary. I love shopping for all things. Even groceries...it's like a vacation from the family. haha, anyone else feel like that?

5. What's your most favorite thing you've ever bought? Hmm...that's a hard one, I really like everything I buy. Thinking...thinking...thinking...nope nothing stands out. Maybe my house. Does that count?

6.  Do you prefer shopping alone or with others? With others for sure, I like getting others opinions. I really like shopping with these ladies.


 Although I do like grocery shopping alone, it just goes faster.

7. Best Bargain? Probably that dress from last week, it was $20 and I wore it for every band performance for 3 years, talk about getting your money worth.


8. Thrift Store Shopping, yes or no? I don't usually thrift store shop, although I have consigned shopped once. I got this jacket, it's pretty awesome.



9. Best Cities for shopping? Los Angeles. Although I've never been to too many other places, but I feel like we have a bunch of really great malls, including the biggest mall on the West Coast

10. Who's your style or fashion icon? Is it okay to have a style icon of Olivia Pope from Scandal? Man I love her wardrobe and would wear everything she owns. And her jackets...swoon....

Weekly Favorites #8

Hi Foxy Friends! Happy Friday! Today is Baby Fox's Jog-A-Thon, he was excited about it. Anyway, onto Friday Favorites:

Thursday night Mr. hosted poker at our house so I took the kids out to get dinner at Cheesecake Factory, sometimes I question my sanity when I take them to a restaurant that takes FOREVER when they are hungry. This is us waiting.


Finally a table, but still had to wait a while before food came. In the end it was worth it and we got to eat left overs for dinner the next night.


Friday morning, our poolman came and it's Mini Fox's favorite, he brings his two dogs with him.


Friday night Baby Fox had baseball practice. It works out that Mini Fox's bestie's big brother is on Baby Fox's team so they got to play the whole time.

Afterwards the dad's played a bit with the boys.





Saturday was opening day for Little League, so dang cute! Morning was pictures.




Followed by opening ceremonies. Short and sweet, just how I like it.

After we got back we did a little family movie, we actually finished up the movie we started the night before.


Then it was time for little lady to get ready for her first Daddy/Daughter dance. She was so stinkin' excited. She's been counting down the days since she missed it last year because we were out of town. She wanted to go as Elena of Avalor and wanted Mr. to dress up like a knight.

He bought her some flowers.

These dad's are pretty special.


Mean while the mom's took the boys to Chuck E Cheese, which I have to say, you can now buy an unlimited card for x amount of time. Which worked out great.


This kid racked up as many tickets as he could.




They don't seem happy, but they are.


Then we headed to dinner and yogurt, best way to end the night.





Sunday we met up with Lana, but we forgot to take a dang picture, darn it! However I did take this, the kids knocked out while driving down there.


This is the sweetest picture...Baby Fox helping Mini Fox zip up her jacket. So darn cute!




So excited that Corina from Now That I Can Do ask me to participate in a round up of Cute Winter Outfits For Chic Moms.  Not sure if I'm chic, but I'll take it! As you know winter here is a bit different, it was so fun to see what everyone else came up with. They are all so stylish!
