Weekly Favorite: Disneyland

Hi Foxy Friends! Changing it up a bit this week to share last Friday when I surprised the kids and took them to Disneyland. They were so excited to get the day started.  Warning: This is going to be picture heavy, since I use the blog as a journal, I want to capture our most perfect day. Well almost perfect, Mr. wasn't there, that would have made it perfect.

Right when we walked in we saw Chip and Dale, and Mini Fox wanted a picture.

We got the MaxPass, which I'm going to do a whole post on that in the near future. Bottom line, we got on 17+ rides on Friday during Spring Break, worth every penny! First ride of the day was Thunder Mountain, Baby Fox's favorite ride.

I pretty much let him guide us where we needed to go. I am horrible with directions, my 8 year old is way better.

Next we went on Mini Fox's favorite ride Matterhorn.

Stopped to stare at the ducks on our way to the Haunted Mansion.

This one never gets old.

Then we jetted off to Buzz Lightyear, family favorite. Baby Fox won out of all of us. Also he was tall enough to ride on his own...sniff sniff.

Next up Small World, they finally put us in the shade, that was nice.

We then headed over to the theater to see Mickey and the paint something or other, I can't find the name of it. It was good, we all liked it.

Lunch time! I know we did all that before lunch! MaxPass worth it!

Then we headed towards Star Tours. They won't stop for pictures, but we grabbed one as they were walking by.

Mini Fox did not like this one...she had her eyes covered most of the time, wait so did I, I get motion sick, but Baby Fox can't go on it by himself...so there we sat with our eyes closed.

Then we headed over to Toon Town to catch Roger Rabbit, it was strange, but the kids liked it, not sure why people stand in line for 50 minutes to see it.

The kids wondered around Toon Town for a bit.

Then we went and caught the parade.  By the way that blanket, not ours, this lady plopped down her blanket and left...NOT OKAY! We sat there for a good 40 minutes before she sauntered back. I moved it a couple of feet so that the kids could sit together. She gave us dirty looks because Mini Fox was on the corner of it when she got back. Back off lady!

Imagine a bunch of other parade pictures, I won't bore you with all of them. The kids wanted to go back to Toon Town and explore some more.

Then we went and saw Mickey Mouse in his house.

We had about 2 hours before our next Fast Pass so we ran over to California Adventure for a bit. Saw a jazz show.

Met Captain America (this was the longest line we stood in the whole day).

Then we headed over to Grizzly Adventure, and I let the kids run around for a bit. The kids were running around, I didn't get many pictures.

Then we headed back over to Disneyland to go on Matterhorn again, but first a picture with a plane.

Classic Disneyland Picture, no?

Saw someone get proposed too, it was the sweetest with all their kids there too.

Rode Matterhorn and then decided it was time for dinner, we went to Carnation Cafe.

Then we headed back over to Thunder Mountain where Baby Fox went on it by himself! We waited for him at the exit. He did great. At this time the fireworks show was about to start in 40ish minutes, so we decided to wait for them. The show was fantastic! Glad that they didn't cancel it because of wind, which they almost did.

Then we headed over to Buzz Light year, and went on that again. Then decided that we wanted to try and hit up Pirates, which turned out to be a good decision because the line was SOOO short! Well at least compared to what it was earlier in the day. When we got off we saw that the water show was going on, and I told the kids let's get out of here so we can get on the tram. I had the double bob and didn't feel like walking the half mile to the parking garage. We got on the second train, which was good, because by the time we got on the line to get in the bigger part of the tram was completely packed.

It was the perfect day at Disney, the weather was mild, mostly cloudy and the crowds were manageable.  If you made it to the end of this, congrats! Thanks for putting up with me! Not sure if I'll be blogging next week, we're on vacation and I don't know if I can get together any posts over the weekend, we'll see how motivated I am :) Until I see you next, have a great weekend! Getting my hair done and going to see Cats with the girl, woo hoo!

Perfect Jeans

Hi Foxy Friends! Today I'm sharing THE MOST COMFORTABLE jeans ever. Yes it deserves the all caps. Plus it sort of has vanity sizing, as in you size down 2 sizes...and the feel like pajama pants...I'm in all the way. Plus they look stylish with the rips and stuff.

Perfect Ripped Jeans

Shirt (comes in 9 patterns and under $20) / Jeans / Heels (similar) / Earrings (similar)

The cuffs on the pant leg are so dang cute the way that they are ripped.  Oh and did I tell you they suck everything in too? Yep, they do that and lift the butt up. The most perfect pair of jeans I'm telling you. I paired it with some simple black heels, but some cute flats would be adorable too.

Oh and can we talk about the shirt (funny enough I washed it and it still had the lines, I was too lazy to get the iron out...) Anyway, back on track. It's comfy and I think I want it in some more colors, people won't notice right?

So anything you've been buying that I NEED? I'm gearing up for Spring Break next week, so excited to get away for a bit with the family. I might even try and put together a video on what to pack for a Palm Springs Vacation.

Pantry Organization Update: A Year Later

Hi Foxy Friends! Today I'm linking up with Shay and Erica for their Let's Look At series, see all previous posts here. Last year I decided to organize my life, one of those things was our pantry, see post here, it was a hot mess. Today I'm sharing an update, how it's going 15 months later.

I did a quick video for those that want to see my lovely face, or just like to see it on video, but down below is a picture breakdown.

Let's break it down a bit:

Top shelves are for paper plates, plastic utensils and cups, along with foil, saran wrap and all those other kitchen things.

Next shelf is pasta, oil and things I put in these containers, highly recommend, they do take up space but keep you super organized. If we had more space I would put our cereal that we regularly have in our pantry, but alas not enough room. On the far right is extra storage, ketchup, pasta sauce, Sunflower Seed Butter.

Next shelf is cooking oils and vinegars and breakfast things. On the far right where you can't see is some snack foods I use in Baby Fox's lunch. Next shelf is baking things, candy for the kids (although the two seem to meld together these days), breakfast bars, and a snack lazy susan (I try to limit the snacks to that tray, besides the one up above where I put them in Baby Fox's lunch).

This shelf has baking things (brown sugar, baking soda/powder), next container holds stuff to make homemade frosting, and the next one has stuff for baking. The ground floor is a bit of a mess, but a somewhat organized one? It has wine (you can see that), protein shakes, gummy bears, and over flow popcorn I bought from Costco (need to stop impulse buying, no room!), and then there is our lunch bags to the left.

The door has more baking stuff, medicines and random food storage

And of course more random stuff. The bottom shelf is for the kids, they put what they want there, sprinkles and straws.

So there you have it, how I organize my pantry. How do you organize yours?

Let's Look At...
