Hi Foxy Friends! While a lot of you are still knee deep in snow this is the time of year that Target puts out their buy one get one 50%! There isn't a better deal out there and once it's gone it usually doesn't come back! Don't worry I've collected some pretty great options for you, but if you don't like any of these, there's still 100's of others on the site. So let's get to some kids bathing suits.
I typically gets these for the kids Easter Basket because let's face it last years suits are not going to be fitting them this summer. These kids are growing like weeds.

I am for sure going to get Mini Fox #3, I mean ruffles and stripes? What could be better? Nothing, that's what.
I love that these come in sets, with a matching swim suit and rash guard, so cute. Mini Fox is going to love #2 or #4, I'm thinking the brighter color, easier to spot her in the ocean or the pool.
How cute is the mermaid tail swim cover up? She would die if I got that for her. But we got #1 sort of recently and it still fits, so don't think we'll be getting any swim cover ups this year...maybe. We'll see.
Baby Fox is in much need for some new swim trunks. He's growing like a weed. I really like buying him bright colored swim trunks, easy to spot him in the ocean and pool, so I'll probably get him #4 or #5, good thing his favorite color is orange. I do however really like #1, so might need to throw that in there for good measure.
Keep an eye out, the BOGO for Women and Men is coming soon, I would suspect in the next couple of weeks. Maybe even next week. So I'll be bringing you my favorite suits again. These are my favorite types of posts to put together. So get to buying those swim suits for the kids!
Hi Foxy Friends! Today I'm linking up with Shay and Sheaffer for What's Up Wednesday, where we share what's going on with us. So let's get to it:
1. What We're Eating This Week (more like what we've been eating lately)
Mini Fox's favorite breakfast, eggs in a hole, which I shaped like a heart.
We had lobster for Valentine's Day, it was delicious.
I've also gotten into making homemade bread, like everyone else during quarantine. I probably make 2-3 loaves a week for friends and family.
2. What I'm Reminiscing About
Our last trip we took was a year ago. We went to visit our friends in Canada and met up with some other friends and it was wonderful and I miss seeing their faces. We use to travel to see each other a couple of times a year, so going a full year without hugging them is hard.
3. What I'm Loving

These leggings. I have several pair and they are all comfy and hold everything in, the ones below you can find here.
4. What We've Been Up To
This kid got his expander yesterday, so we've been dealing with trying to figure out how to eat...any tips for us? It took him an hour and a half to eat dinner. Poor guy.
5. What I'm Dreading
Not much right now, I was dreading Baby Fox's expander, but it went in with no problems.
6. What I'm Working On
Maybe opening and Etsy store? I keep making things to put in it, taking all the pictures, but have yet to do it...I just need to do it already!
7. What I'm Excited About
We just booked a trip to Maui for July! Really hoping it works out and we can go!
8. What I'm Watching/Reading
Firefly Lane, so good, on episode 6 and need to know who the funeral is for!

Baby Fox has baseball tryouts, hoping that we an actually have a season this year, fingers crossed, good sign that we have try outs this weekend. And Mini Fox has her horseback riding lessons.
12. What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month
Mr's birthday, which also happens to be when the world shut down, so one year of quarantine...yikes, that is crazy to think about. So guess I'm not looking forward to that part, but this will be two birthdays in quarantine for him.
13. What Else Is New
Hmmm....I recently cut Mr's hair... and it didn't turn out horrible.
So what have you all been up to. I'm going to start blogging more, I loved that this was a way to document life, and I've really fell off of that, so here's to new beginnings and me starting to blog once again...I can do this! Although I've said that in the past...I'm serious this time...really!
Hi Foxy Friends! I cannot believe that it is almost February! How did that happen? I have a fun non candy Valentine's Day treat to share today. You can get some of the stuff from Dollar Tree, but make sure to go early next year. I got my stuff 2nd week of January and when I went back a week later, all of it was gone. So make sure to be on it for next year! But good news, Amazon has all of the stuff too, and for a reasonable price too. So no need to panic, you still have time to put this together! Really you could make these for any occassion, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, 4th of July. Just change out the jewel color or rock colors. Okay let's get to the quick tutorial:

Note: If you don't have a Cricut you can always use a fabric pen for the Tic Tac Toe and a Paint Pen for the rocks.
Directions:
Here is a video I put together on how to make this. I would consider this a beginner Cricut project. I can't wait to give it to our friends.
Step 1: Create the correct size X's and O's and tic tac toe board and names if you are personalizing it in cutting machine program and cut out. If you would like the SVG that I created, please email me!
Step 2: Iron on the names and tic tac toe on your bag. If you got bags with hearts on it, iron on the name over the heart. If you didn't get the bag with a heart on it, cut out a heart with HTV and iron that on first and then iron the name on. In general I do 305°F on my Easy Press, but look at the directions of your heat transfer vinyl. Place your HTV on the bag, then put a piece of parchment paper between your HTV and your iron or press. Make sure to try and not put the iron over the strings of the bag. Sometimes if there is a little unevenness it is hard to get a good press and will result in your HTV not sticking.
Step 3: Put your X's and O's on your gems or stones. I didn't use the transfer tape, but if you want perfection use your transfer tape, but I found it to be faster to not use it. With how many of them you have to place, I would definitely just use them like stickers.
Step 4: Package them up super cute to give to your friends.
Here is a pin for later:

Hi Foxy Friends! I've been meaning to put together this post for a while now, and I figure, new year, new me, new posts.
Sorry about the coloring, when I did this, there were a lot of fires in California and it turned the sky orangish/red.
I made a video of everything I'm about to show you, so if you're more of a watch and learn someone else doing it, this video is for you. Else keep reading to see pictures on how I put this together.

Corrugated Plastic (4' x 8'), I also got a 3' x 6' but couldn't find it online), here is another option but a bit more expensive if you can't get a 4'x8' sheet in your car and this one delivers it, so there's the ease of delivery.
Note: Corrugated plastic is what you see on lawn signs/for sale signs, it's plastic and weather proof and has a space to put metal stakes to stick in the ground.
Quilting Ruler (it's 24 inches long, so it's going to be great for this project to help you cut your letters straight with the box cutter)
Directions:
Step 1 - Create letters in design program (Design Space for Cricut or Silhouette Studio for the Cameo), you're going to be creating an off the mat project. The next set of directions is specifically for Cricut. Create your letter, I put two letters in each file, but you can choose how many go in each.
Cricut only allows me to cut 11.5" x 23.5", so I made sure the height of my letters is no bigger than 23.5"(I picked my letters to be 23" high), and the width is no bigger than 11.5". As you can see my first half is 10.152" and the length does not exceed the 23.5". So the letter "O" will print in two pieces, and the letter "T" will print in 3 pieces. I made the letter "T" because I felt that having to make up the two short ends would be a lot easier than having to try and match the whole length of the "T".
Cut out/weed the letters, I cut all of mine out at once, so that I could get the most out of my corrugated plastic.
Step 2 - Use the contact paper, and transfer first letter, sticky side to the color side of the paper. For ease of applying such a larget letter, attach 1" of contact paper on solid surface, then place letter under it, and roll the contact paper on letter using the squeegee (see minute 7 of video).
Step 3 - Using two straight sides of the corrugated plastic (so you only have to cut two sides), carefully place down vinyl, see minute 10.22 of video to see me doing this. Use the squeegee to get as much air out as possible. This is going to be something that you get better at the more letters you do. I think by letter 7 I had it down, and by letter 15, it was easy. Trust yourself, and sometimes you just have to go for it.
Note: When placing the letters on the corrugated plastic make sure to place the letters so that they are parallel with the grooves in the corrugated plastic. Basically, think about how you are going to put your stakes into the sign, to place in the ground, so you want to make sure your letters are facing the correct direction.
Step 4 - Cut your letter to size. I used this quilting ruler to help get straight lines. For the smaller angles, I was able to use scissors.
For the times that you miss, and the letters don't line up, just cut out extra vinyl to cover the spots. In all honesty, no one can see those small mistakes unless you are right on top of the sign, and even then the letters are so big you can hardly tell, even when you know the mistake is there.
You can tell in the picture below this is one of my first letters, see how many bubbles there are? You can somewhat fix the large one, by using a blade and cutting in the direction of the corrugated plastic, then pushing down with your finger on the vinyl and the bubble will be less noticeable.
Step 5 - Continue making letters like this. The letter will stop at this bar in the picture below. You want to make all the letters even. So take note of the width of the H stakes you got, and where they are going to hit on the letter. Some of my letters, I needed to keep the middle of the letter so that when you put the H stakes in the letter, they are all even when you stick them into the ground.
As you can see this H stake is 5 inches wide, but the center of the H is larger than that, so I had to add the middle back in (luckily I kept all of the centers, never know when you're going to need extra material), so that the letters in BIRTHDAY would be on the same height level when I stuck the stake into the ground.
The taller H Stake was 10" wide, so I adjusted and kept the outside of straight part of the "Y".
Step 6 - Put letter on your lawn! I would suggest to lay the down on the ground first, and then stick them in the ground so you know you have enough room. I've done this twice now, the first time I laid them out, the second time I went for it and had to adjust the Birthday word by a foot or so...oops!
When your kids see this, they're mind is going to be blown, and the best part is, you get to keep it and use it for years! Hope you decide to give this a try! It's a lot easier than you think it is! If you have any questions or get stuck, shoot me and email or a comment on the video or in the comments below.
