Legoland Hotel Review

Hello Foxy People! I promise this is the last thing I'm going to review for LEGOLAND.  I briefly mentioned the hotel in my first review. But I'm here to expand on how awesome it is!

ONE

At check-in they give the kids some LEGOLAND slap bracelets, remember those? You can see them on the boys. Those slap bracelets also gets you into LEGOLAND an hour earlier than everyone else.

Make sure you ask what the Lego them of the night is...see #5 for why.

TWO

You get to take the kids on a cool scavenger hunt in which you collect numbers and at the end of the scavenger hunt? You get the combination of the room safe and you get some Mixels to keep.

THREE

The rooms are awesome! Each floor has it's own theme, Pirates, Adventure, and Kingdom and they just added a few Lego Friends rooms. The rooms are really set up great, they are sort of shaped like the letter "E". The first leg has bunk beds for the kids and a private TV that has some Lego channels and shows that aren't available anywhere else. Best part, it can fit three kids! There is a trundle underneath the bunk beds. So families of 5, no need for a roll away!

The Middle leg of the "E" is the bathroom, which of course is themed and has some great Lego creations.

The bottom leg of the "E" is the main bedroom area for the adults which also has a TV.

Here is the hallway that connects all of the rooms: Sorry for the mess, we had 4 kids and 2 adults in here.

FOUR

The rest of the hotel is amazing too. Even if you stay on the first floor you HAVE to take a ride on the elevator. At first it just seems like a normal elevator, but as soon as the door close, the disco ball turns on and disco music plays so the kids can dance their hearts out.

All of the decorations around the hotel are of course made out of Legos.

With every room comes a free breakfast. It's buffet style and it's amazing and really good. They have everything you could possibly want in a breakfast. They have an omelet station, pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon galore, oatmeal, cereal, Danishes, yogurt, you name it they have it.

Plus they have entertainment walking around for the kids:

A knight, who was super nice and really engaged with the kids, staying in character the whole time.

They also had a Jester aka balloon artist. Who was amazing.

FIVE

We can't forget the nightly entertainment for the kids! After a full day at the park head over to the bar/ship area for some fun and relaxation. Make sure you get there quick to ensure that you get a seat, so you're not having to stand around the whole time. We got there maybe 30 minutes before the entertainment started and were fine finding a seat.

See not that many seats
Now that you are seated, and you know what the theme of the night is, have your kids start building! Of course you can help too.

Soon the entertainment starts, you can sneak off to the restaurant, order some food and bring it back to eat...might as well be comfortable while you are watching.

They entertain the kids for a good 2.5-3 hours! No joke they do a magic show, the Lego contest, teach them how to fight like a pirate, it's fantastic.

Baby Fox got picked to help with the magic show. I find that if you're kid is in the front and center, and sort of sitting on their knees waving their hand they get picked. At least that's what I told Baby Fox to do, and he got picked!

So what are you waiting for?! Go make some reservations and get yourself to LEGOLAND!!

Style Perspectives Week 3: White Pants and Hair Challenge Week 11

Hi Foxy Fashionistas! Another week of the Style Perspectives, but guess what?! It's my week to show off my White Pants look, so head on over the The Blended Blog to check out my post! Spoiler: there are 4 outfits and I styled an all white one! Sneak Peak: Look I even did my hair, go check out a close up of what I did.

Last week, everyone did fantastic with their Shades of Pink:

Onto the Hair Challenge: Week 11!

Wednesday I curled my hair and just threw I up in my favorite easy poof...I don't even know what it's called

Thursday my Mom's friend has sent me this link of a video, she wanted me to do my hair like that, it was just a simple pull through braid. I think it turned out pretty good. Next time I'll try to get the spacing a little more even.

Here it is again without the scarf, I found in the picture it was sort of in the way. But even through the tail end of it, it's all rubber bands and pull through stuff, no actually braiding happened in the making of this do. So those of you who can't braid, do this!

Saturday I tried a pull through waterfall braid.  I don't think it turned out that great, I think next time I'll have to do more "braids" so that it looks better, and pull on them a little more to make them bigger.

Sunday, before church I tried three different styles and NOTHING was working, so I gave up and tried a messy bun, which of course looks, terrible! But I went with it...

Looks good from here right? There was a little braid at the base that you can't see...

But side view, YIKES! Apparently I needed to look at the side when I looked in the mirror, oops! I later redid it and it looked much better.

Monday I tried a side braid. I realized that I like side braids on my left side, not my right side. I've always had them lay on my right side and for whatever reason when I did this it ended up being on my left and I didn't have any problems all day. So if you're having issues with your side braid try switching sides, it might just work for you too!

Despite how it looks, this really is a braid all the way down, not a twist like it looks.

Tuesday I worked from home and did this really quickly before going to my ankle doctor appointment.

I really like this, it gets it off my face and looks really pretty from the back. I thought I needed my hair to be curls for this to look good, but I think it looks good just like this.

Now go check out how everyone else styled their white pants!

Happy Birthday Mr.!

Today is Mr.'s Birthday! Happy, Happy Birthday!

I made him his favorite cake over the weekend (he really wanted it early so that he could enjoy it for several days before) I'm thinking there might not be cake left tonight when my parents come over for dinner. Which I'm making his favorite dinner, meatloaf. The kids are pretty stoked too, they started jumping up and down screaming yay when I told them what was for dinner.

I figured I would give you a list, cause who doesn't like a list of things I love about Mr.

Let's the kids do things I would never let them do:

She actually climbed up to the top...by herself, when he realized how dangerous it was and went up to retrieve her...but she thought she was queen bee for that moment in time.

Need I say more?

Puts up with all of my selfies I want to take:

Is always playing with the kids, where ever we go.

Takes pictures like this because he knows that I'll love it.

Loves to cuddle on any baby within holding distance. Literally he will walk into a room, wash his hands and have his hands on the baby before I even enter the house.

So if you ever want a baby cuddler/whisperer, seriously he can get any baby to stop crying, come on over and he'll hold yours and let you eat any time!

Even with our own kids, you would often times find him like this...seriously the only way I got to hold my own kids was because they needed sustanance from me.

Baby Fox

Mini Fox

Takes me out on great dates:

Yep another Selfie

Did our house shopping for us and just showed me the options and then convinced me to buy this orange house that need a lot of work. He had vision and I appreciate that.

Takes a lot of my outfits photos for me...without complaining...

And I'm always finding little gems like this while going through pictures:

Takes tons of pictures for me of the kids while I am away, because he knows I live for pictures and because he knows I miss the kids like crazy. I love the ones he gets before he leaves for work, they are just too cute together. Baby Fox is singing hush little baby to her.

Takes the kids to the doctors and the dentist because his work schedule is more flexible than mine.
Then sends me pictures like this with the caption: You said there weren't any shots...there are.

Drives 300+ miles in one day to visit my Grandma with both kids. Trooper. And then keeps all of the kids entertained.

As you can see, I am pretty fond of this guy. I hope that he has the best birthday ever and that we get to celebrate many, many more together! I'm taking half day on Friday and we're going to a early movie and dinner! Going to see the last of the Divergent Series, we're so excited!
