Weekly Favorites #11

Hi Foxy Friends! As you read this I'm at Disneyland, call me crazy I'm taking two kids to Disneyland by myself. And my kids are the type that stays until midnight...wish me luck! I assume the crowds will be crazy, but hey I like a little crazy. Alright let's get started with some Friday Favorites.

Thursday we took Baby Fox to karate and while he was there we headed to the mall to return some stuff. A miracle happened and I return things to three stores and walked out empty handed...at all three store, miracle! Although, I made up for it by online shopping this week, oops!

She felt the need to stand with all of the mannequins, it was so cute.

We went to a pizza place for a school fundraiser...I got a pizza, and when I got home, I would have literally eaten anything...and instead I got this...

The only two things I do not like on pizza, pineapple and ham...yuck! Part of my pineapple graveyard.

Friday my brother came to visit, yay! So he was here for Saturday baseball. Baby Fox's team had a rough game, but the kids had fun.

Baby Fox being catcher, he's so cute, he hates the position, but it's so cute.

Meanwhile these two kids had a blast playing the whole time their big brothers played.

Up to bat.

Then we headed over to Mini Fox's game, little kids playing baseball is the cutest.

Afterwards someone brought their pet bunny, of course she had to hold him.

Then our friends kids wanted to come play at our house for a bit. Sure why not.

An epic nerf war broke out...we get series about nerf wars. Yep Mr. got out a ladder to attack from a different angle.

Saturday night we went out for diner with my brother.

Then met up with my parents and sister for some frozen yogurt.

Sunday was church and I was on a mission to go to flower fields, I found a friend that had one in her backyard, I drove up the street to her house, it was awesome!

He was guiding her down the hill because she was scared of falling. So sweet.

This guy wanted in on the action too (her best friend from baseball, and they were at our house the day before).

This week Baby Fox had his very first school presentation.

Also Mr. and I celebrated 14 years of marriage. We celebrated by going to baseball practice for Mini Fox and Cheesecake factory as a family. We wouldn't have it any other way.

OH my gosh this lady randomly appeared on my suggested videos and she is goals! She made 40ish freezer meals in one day, and not that many of them were repeats. She has 10 kids and has it all organized. I'm proud the other day I made 4 freezer meals In 7 hours! She made 40 in 16 hours...need to up my game. Although what she's making my kids won't eat, lol! #pickyeaters

What are you doing this weekend? We have baseball and Mr. is leaving for a business trip for the week, wahhh!!!! Have a great weekend!

6 Shows I'm Binge Watching And So Should You

Hi Foxy Friends! I love these kinds of posts, you get to know me, I follow a prompt, it's all a win-win. Thanks Jen and Jenna for hosting! Today I'm going to share 5 shows that Mr. and I have been watching lately.

| ONE | Grey's Anatomy

Our number one show is Grey's Anatomy. We've watch every single episode. I cried so hard when one of the main characters died, Mr. said, you better cry that hard if I ever die.

| TWO | OA

Season 2 was just released and woah, it is freaking GOOD! I didn't know where they would go with it for this year, but man did they live up to expectation!

| THREE | 3%

This is English subtitles, defintely go with the sub titles becuase the same voice inflection is does not come across in the English dubbed one. It takes some time to get use to, but it's so good.

 | Four |  Handmaids Tale

I don't even know what to say about this other then WOW, not sure when the next season comes out, but I can't wait to see what June does next!

| FIVE | Man in the High Castle

Have you heard of this show yet? It's coming up on it's 4th and last season (at least that's what i heard) It's so good, each season you can't even imagine where they are going with it, and they continue to pull you in.

| SIX | Continuum

Mr. and I recently picked this show up. It has 5 seasons and an ending, which we like that we don't have to wait for the next season to come out. It's about time travel, sort of, so if you don't like time travel then this probably isn't for you. But so good, we're only on season 2, but so far each episode you learn more and can't wait to see what happens next.

Any other shows that Mr. and I need to binge watch?

Here are the other prompts if you want to join along next month!

Perfect Spring Dress

Happy Wednesday Foxy Friends! This is a short week for me, and Friday I am surprising the kids with a trip to Disneyland! After the girls came in January I still had one day left on our 3 day passes, so I'm taking them this Friday. I'm getting a little scared because it's Spring Break for a lot of schools out here, but I don't think it's going to get any better as it gets closer to the opening of Star Wars Land...so Friday it is! Anyway, I found this dress, it's under $35 and fits like a dream! I think you could really dress this up or down and it's so comfy...

Dress (comes in 10+ colors/styles) / Heels

Plus it had pockets! Win. I like my hair curled, I need to do it more often.

Want to hear something sort of embarrassing. I usually edit videos/photos while my daughter is at gymnastics, which has a lot of people in the waiting room. I can't always get a seat with my back to the wall, so sometimes my back is to the people, so they can ALL see my screen. Wonder what they think of me editing photos or videos of myself? I feel super self conscious...but gotta get the work done, so I do it anyway.

Not sure if you can tell but those are little birds on this dress. I was standing in line at the grocery store and the man behind me said, wow those are tiny little birds on your dress. That made the dress so much better...umm...thanks? He quickly recanted and said...not that I thought it was bad to begin with...haha, I got it. But yep, those little birds are what sold me on this dress.

My new makeup I have been loving for the Spring. Light and airy and it lasts all day.

Primer / Foundation / Blemish Concealer / Concealer (cause one can never have too much) / Lashes / Eyebrow TintBlush / Bronzer / Eyeshadow is Senegence  Candied Coco Shimmer (one color all over) / Lip color is Lipsense Bella, Nude Pink, Bella layered with some Glossy Gloss.

Oh and I thought I would share this outtake...lost my balance...oops! Or maybe attempting the funky chicken?

Sentence A Day: March Edition

First I would like to say Happy Anniversary to this guy. 14 years...wait has it been 14?...doing math, doing math...yes 14 years. I couldn't imagine doing life without you. Here's to many many more! Wondering what Mr. got me? Go check out day 22.

Okay onto our regularly scheduled program, Sentence a day. As you know, we like to record our month, one sentence at a time. I love looking back and seeing what we were up to on those random days. Join us, it's only April 2, you can catch up! Thanks to Rebecca for thinking up this idea so many years ago.

1 - Baby Fox's game got moved to today, practice beforehand, he got a double.

2 - Mini Fox's game got rained out, Baby Fox got his First Reconciliation, he said he felt so happy and couldn't stop smiling, and I cooked for 7 hours...yikes, lots of food and some to freeze, so worth it.

3 - Best afternoon and evening with my Aunt and Uncle, went to see the Symphonic Jazz Orchestra, bought some raffle tickets to support bringing music to schools that don't have it, and then celebrated my aunt's birthday with dinner, so good.

4 - Recorded a Day in the Life...full disclosure, I forgot until I was already at work, oops, hence the no pictures until after I got home, LOL.

5 - Mini Fox finally got to go to baseball practice, it started raining just as we were walking to our car.

6 - This little guy shows up everywhere around me house, this time it was in my PJ's drawer (I try to keep them folded, it never works out that they stay folded...hmmm...)

7 - Last minute Mom's Night Out with one of my oldest friends (been friends since 7th grade).

8 - Minimum day at school, so we headed to a play place after school, followed by hair cut for Baby Fox and then baseball practice and dinner at a friends, full day.

9 - Baseball all morning, the kids were so dang cute, followed by a relaxing evening at home with family movie night (we watched the first Captain America).

10 - Church followed by lunch and the park with friends I haven't seen in a long while.

11 - Back to our routine, today on the 30 day ab challenge was 100 sit ups, man that was HARD!

12 - Trying to get the kids to do a craft for Mr's birthday is proving to be hard when he's working from home everyday, go to work man!

13 - Improv on a Wednesday night, made for a very funny but late night for us, totally worth it to spend time with friends.

14 - I have a love/hate relationship with Barre class.

15 - Made Mr. his favorite dinner for his birthday, I have to say I'm pretty proud of those grill lines, perfection.

16 - Celebrating our friends 40th birthday, so much fun hanging out with friends.

17 - Birthday dinner for Mr. at my parents, yum!

18 - Baby Fox got no sleep so he stayed home from school, and read lots and started his school project, son after my own heart, no procrastinating here!

19 - Sick...boo!

20 - No workout class, causally walked on the treadmill, something is better than nothing?

21 - MNO, great catching up with these ladies.

22 - Day date with Mr., great day shopping and eating lunch, where he might have bought me these for our anniversary...full unboxing coming soon!

23 -Worst night ever with Mini Fox, she was so sick, she would just start whimpering in her sleep, took her to Urgent care and both Mr. and Mini Fox have strep throat (2nd time for Mini Fox in a month).

24 - Low key day for the family, hoping no one else gets sick, also tried to make my cup turner, big fail!

25 - Off site today, don't want to go, don't make me go.

26 - Ugh, another day at a different work site, it's SOOO far from home (70 miles away to be exact).

27 - Pretty sure that the cafeteria lady thinks I eat Cheetos with a fork (was having a bad day at work, Cheetos helped, the fork was for my salad that was tasteless).

28 -Went to the kids restaurant fundraiser for pizza, and when I got home my pizza had ham and pineapple on it...(barf), I still ate it because I don't want to waste food, but there was a pineapple graveyard.

29 - Brother is here to hang out for the weekend, yay!

30 -Watching 2 kids baseball games, and some good family time.

31 -  Took flower pictures with the kids in a friends backyard, thank you friend, also tried to make the cup turner again...fail...one day I'll get it.
