Hi Foxy Friends! I finally remembered to link up with Anne in Residence for her currently post. Each month she picks different topics that we talk about, this month it is: choosing, imagining, making, recommending and wearing.

Choosing

We're choosing to believe that we'll be able to go to Hawaii for a Summer vacation. It's booked, so hopefully we'll be able to go on it! Fingers crossed. We're so excited, to soak up some sun and lots of beach time. This is from 2019 when we went to the Big Island. This time around we're going to Maui.

Imagining

Trying to imagine what life is going to be like going forward. We're coming up on a year in quarantine and wondering how we are going to get back to going to the movies and concerts. Right now I'm just happy they are assuming baseball is going to happen. We had try outs last Saturday.

Making

Cups for all of my friends, and some hats also.

Making some Toddler birthday shirts this week...steady stream of business. So if you need anything, let me know! Right now I'm working at putting together an Etsy store, so if you could go like my store, that would be amazing! So when I do get up and running I'll already have some followers :) Thank you!

Also a lot of bread for neighbors and friends. I've made 10 or so loaves in the last 2 weeks. It's a vicious cycle with sourdough starter, you have to feed it, but you don't want to waste it, so you bake something and you don't want to eat that much bread, so you give it away. haha. And now all these people really like the bread, so I keep making the rounds of people who want it.

Oh and some sourdough cinnamon rolls. They are delicious.

I feel like a more well rounded person would recommend some awesome books to read, or cool pod casts to listen to...but I have done neither. The last book I read was Class Mom back in May maybe? It was hilarious. It's a fictional story of a room mom and her hilarious letters to the classroom to get parents to volunteer and such. There are other story lines in-between, the whole book was a light read and relatable. Highly recommend. 

Other then that, I would highly recommend these leggings. I have a few pairs and wear them all the time.

Wearing

Currently wearing all of the athleisure wear. Truth be told, I owned two maybe 3 pairs of leggings, that I never wore, pre quarantine. Now I can't  count that high, oops! I just keep buying more...what is wrong with me? And I keep buying cute sweaters to wear with said leggings. Our cold weather last approximately 2 seconds, so I'm not sure why I am buying all these warm comfy clothes. I'm going to go with my house is cold?

This jacket is my favorite jacket currently, so much so I might have it in a berry color. 

Leggings / Jacket / Shoes

This sweater, a friend got me and it's so soft. I would however size up from your normal size. It's actually a pink marbly color, but you can't really see it in the photos.

Last but not least, I actually bought this sweater to go with these leggings. I think the combo is just too cute.

Make up is all Senegence:

CCTM in Medium, Foundation in Tan, Eyeshadow is Plum Berry, Rustic Brown and Glitter Pink and lip color is Amore with Glossy Glossy. If you want to get any of the make up contact Becky, she'll get you all hooked up.

And what's a photoshoot without a jumping picture. Can I tell you how hard it is to do a jumping picture with a timer? I'm jumping for joy that this is my new work uniform.

Favorite Amazon Purchases

Spring is around the corner, I bought these in May of last year and they do not disappoint. They feel real and don't look like plastic at all! Even my mom said, oh those flowers are so nice where did you get them? I got the Peonies in light pink and the Tulips in white and mixed together makes for the perfect Spring arrangement. Currently they are in a bin outside put away from Christmas, and I need to go dig them out so I can enjoy them again. When I do I'll post them for you to see in my house.

You guys I found my FAVORITE gym shorts! I originally bought them from Target, and bought one of each color, thinking well, 4 pairs should be enough. I only workout at most 3 days a week. Cue the pandemic and me workingout 6-7 days a week and I run out of my favorite shorts fast. I finally found them and I bought them in three more colors. Okay not really two more colors, because I bought another pair of black. They are so comfortable for running, HIIT, Pilates, cardio, everything. I am so happy to have found them. They are the perfect length at 3.5", and don't ride up ever. 

Speaking of workout stuff, I bought this sports bra and I love it. I was looking for a cute sports bra to go under my white tank tops that I love, you guys these tank tops I have in every color and style...I love them that much, I think I have over 15 of them...oops. Anyway, I got some white ones recently but only have dark colored sports bras, so I sent out to remedy that. I got this light pink one, because nude colored things under white show up less than white under white. It is perfect and you can't see it under my white tank. Not sure why it had to be cute, as I am an never wearing just a sport bra without a top over it? Perhaps it's because I know it's cute underneath? 

Okay this is totally random, but I love this spoon. Shhhh, don't tell my husband. He bought it and I told him how much I hated it, but then it grew on me and now I love it. It has this corner on it that let's you really get into the side of the pots and pans. We even bought it for our chef friend and he loves it too. So you know it has to be good.

These are my favorite face masks. I love that you can choose how your face feels, whether it needs more Hydration (refreshing and moisturizing), Collagen (plumping and firming), Vitamin C (Brightening and Glowing) or Tea Tree (helps purify and smooth), there is something for however your face is feeling at that moment. I love them so much I've bought them twice for myself and once for my sister for Christmas. Treat yourself and get these masks, you get 20 masks for $45, pretty good in my opinion for how much it gives you.

Okay well I made it back to December of my Amazon purchases. Haha. Next time I'll go further back. What have been your favorite Amazon purchases lately?

Friday Favorites #1

A couple of Sundays ago we went to the beach to watch the sunset. We never do this, but thought, what the heck. It was so pretty, nice just to sit and do nothing but watch the kids play and watch the sunset.

Can I tell you how long it took to get this picture when you ask your 10 year old and 7 year old to do it? 50 pictures later...haha!

And what's going to the beach if you don't get a good jump shot? Girl is finally learning to get the best jump shots, now to work on boy.

This guy got his expander in on Monday and it taking it pretty well. Considering his favorite foods have been cut out of his diet for the next 18 months. He's the one that has remembered to turn the key the past 4 days. So proud of him.

Let me get this out there, Mr. and I don't do much for Valentine's Day in general. We've been together for 17 Valentine's Days...or is it 18? Hmmm...anyway, I went for a walk with a friend, and on my way home, I decided last minute to get Mr. his favorite breakfast burrito. So I walked in with his breakfast burrito and saw this...my favorite chocolate covered pretzels. If you haven't had them, they are the Chocolate Covered Pretzel Thins from Trader Joe's.

So basically, Mr. and I gave each other food for Valentine's Day. haha.

Continuing the food trend, found this gem at Costco, and it's delicious. Give it a try, yes it's Costco size and took us a while to get through it...but worth every calorie.

I've been wearing a lot of nail polish lately, and a friend told me about a mineral nail polish remover that you could use to take off your nail polish, so I decided to give this a try. Low and behold it totally works! I use it with nail clips, because I typically do Color Street Glitter nails and we all know how hard it is to get glitter off, and this stuff works. I cut these up into strips, then get the pad wet and use the nail clip and wait a few minutes, rub off and it's done! Little cleaning up to do, but so much easier on the nails and skin than using acetone.

These are all Color Street nail strips, and I love them. I might have way too many and keep buying more, oops! These are the recent ones I've done in the new year. I typically will wear one set for 2 weeks, then off for a week or so (mostly because I don't make the time to put them back on).

I was going to put some sort of glitter on top of this black color, but just loved the black that I kept it. I might put on some glitter to extend the life of this set in a few days.
