Who Am I + My First Give-A-Way All Rolled Into One!

First off, Happy Memorial Day! Thank you to all of those that have lost their lives to fight for our freedom.

Since most of you are new around here, I thought I would do a get to know me post. Stick with me till the end so you can enter the giveaway, I promise it will be worth it!

This is me Sarah aka Foxy:

This picture was actually taken last night, when I was telling a friend, look who got a smart phone! Yep I just recently got my first smart phone and it's changed my life...okay not really, but it's really awesome
See all those whispy/new hairs up there? Yea that's thanks to this little lady Mini Fox:

Her birth was 2 hours from start to finish and I barely made it to the hospital
I like to take selfies with my first born Baby Fox:

These were all taken in just the month of May...and there are so many more I didn't include...yikes I need help
Mr. and I met in a bar and really wanted to get married after dating for 2 weeks, but waited 11 months before making it official, didn't want to think people we were totally crazy. Right?

Yep I wore flip flops after the ceremony, but they had sequins on them, makes them fancy flip flops
We then spent the next 5 years going on awesome trips and having great adventures. Here's just some of them, we did what we wanted when we wanted, random trip to Santa Barbara...okay, hop in car, or let's go down to San Diego for the weekend...let's pick up snow boarding and go to Utah...no problem! That was the life!!

But then we got this....twice:

And now we have these little foxes:

And we never do this, but hope to next year:

Don't worry, this was our first time and we didn't know people wore helmets, now we're all about helmets
But are loving raising these foxes:

Cute Fox

Nope not talking about my kids, but the fox on my sweater. I love pairing a sweater with a skirt, I get the warmth of the sweater, and the coolness of the skirt. Perfect for those office days when they (the building people) can't quite get the climate under control.

Sweater - Old Navy (old), Skirt - Loft (old), Tights - Target, Shoes - DSW, Necklace - Francesca's Collection
I really need to wear some make-up, look at those bags under my eyes! Yikes! Anyone have a good under eye concealer they can suggest?

I wasn't going to post this picture, but had to post my little cute Baby Fox photobomber in the background, do you see him? He's drinking a yogurt, in case you wanted to know, which you probably didn't.

And here's some random thoughts for the day (in bullets, cause I like bullet points):

  • Yesterday when I got home from work Baby Fox wanted to paint...wait for it...without pants, I think he didn't want to get paint on his new shorts, but who knows why.
  •  I got my order from Loft yesterday, this is what was in my package:

1 / 2 / 3 / 4/ 5

What do all of these shirts have in common? Yeah they're all black and white, but I really did
love every single one, so I'm keeping them, and I guess I'll have to add some color with
jewelry and pants, oops! I guess I'm out of the market for black and white things for a while,
or until my next shopping adventure.
          note: 2 ($17.99) ,4 ($7.72), and 5 ($5.92) are all on clearance!
  •  I just discovered this girl, and am obsessed with her make-up tutorials. Like I went home and tried out her techniques after the kids went to bed. So I'm gathering the supplies and want to try and maybe wear a little make-up each day (especially after seeing my picture above). We'll see how that goes, waking up at 4:30am, not sure if I want to stick something semi sharp next to my eyes. We'll see. Go watch some of her tutorials, she has great ones for "monolids" like me (You know doesn't have a crease in their eyelid).

Random Wednesday

When I went to take these pictures, and got the tri-pod out, Baby Fox, ran to where I normally take the pictures, pushed all the strollers and toys out of the way and posed for the camera...he's such a ham!

Okay and now onto my outfit. You've seen me wear this shirt before, but I haven't done an official outfit post on it. So here it is.

Sweater - Old Navy, Pants - Ann Taylor Loft, Belt - White House Black Market (old), Necklace - Target, Boots - DSW

And now onto some Random Things:

Microwave Saga - They told us it would ship in two weeks, we finally wrote them and said we never got a shipping confirmation, they wrote back and said it wasn't going to happen for another 3 weeks at minimum. So we went out and bought a cheap microwave, we just couldn't do it any more...seriously, two weeks is one thing, but 6 weeks...a whole other story! It was so glorious to have a microwave again...I commend people who don't have one!

I've been wanting to start a Valentine's project now for a week, but haven't mustard up the energy to do so, it just involves paint, what could be harder, nothing, so I'm going to start it tonight...by telling you guys I'm making myself accountable, so maybe, just maybe I'll get it done!

I got 7 hours of sleep last night and it was glorious! Note to self: when you get more sleep, you actually wake up refreshed and not ready to go back to bed. Must do that more often...

Speaking of sleep...you know you blog too much and stalk too many people when you start having dreams about them being in your everyday life. For example, last night I had a dream that I went to a mom's group and sitting there was Shanna! Just to let you know, she was just as nice in my dream as I would imagine she is in real life, and equally well dressed. I think she was wearing a red blazer and some sort of colored jeans and boots.

Happy Hump Day, I only have one more day left of work, woo hoo! Off on Monday, off on Friday, three day work week, I'll take it!
