Mr. Is Home!

Hello Monday! It's just too hot, I could not sleep for the life of me last night! I tossed and turned until about 1:30 when I finally got up and turned the AC on. And then my alarm went off 3 hours later, darn you early work hours! Came way too soon.

Friday I had the day off from work. The kids woke up in a good mood.

Showing me all of her pacifiers, which she calls binky.

I was getting ready and they were hiding, I wonder where they are...??

Our pool man came and they both dragged their favorite chairs outside to show him. I made Mr. Poolman get in the picture with them. One of their favorite things to do is talk to Mr. Poolman every Friday. Plus he brings his cute little doggy.

She told me she wanted "Let it Go" hair...who am I to deny her?

Why does she look 5 in this picture? Oh and Baby Fox picked out her outfit. He laid it all out, even the diaper, he put everything on her dresser, it was so cute.

I decided since it was so hot that we would go to a play place to get some energy out and stay cool.

Then afterwards I figured we would get Baby Fox his haircut since we missed it last week. He love playing the video games while getting his haircut, worth the extra money.

She ate lunch while she watched.

Handsome boy.

I think this is one of the first days of triple digit weather, August and September are normally our hottest months, so I guess here we go! Pardon all of the dust on my dash.

He wanted to show me how he could carry his own chair.

Dinner was Persian, the kids absolute favorite thing to eat.

Usually Mr. and I put our stuff on their flat bread, Mini Fox tried to copy me...so cute.

My mom and sister wanted to go to the movies, so they came over after dinner with my dad, who watched the kids while we went to the movies. We saw Ricki, it was a cute movie, but definitely a renter.

Saturday I actually vlogged and of course I took pictures too. We went to a splash park at a friends community, I really think splash park is an understatement, there must be some other word for what we went to. I was NOT expecting this. Every 2-3 minutes a giant bucket would dump water on everyone.

Lunch time.

The closest Baby Fox would get to the waterfall of water. He rallied later and got under the water, which I videoed instead.

She had a blast!

Wearing Mommy's hat.

The girls playing with all of the toys. See all those toys lined up behind Mini Fox? Guess who did that? haha.

Then Baby Fox wanted to stay at their house while I took Mini Fox back to our house. His very first playdate when I wasn't there. Both boys were so excited.

After nap time for Ms. Mini Fox we headed back to their house to go to my friends school festival. Free food and stuff for the kids to do? Yes please! This is how I found the boys when I got there, they rallied and were playing. Captain America vs. Storm Trooper...who won?

They had a shaved ice truck, the kids thought it was the best thing ever.

After filling them with sugar, we let them burn it all off by going on the different things, 5 million times.

Yep I carried Mini Fox up this thing at least 6 times.

Waiting in line silly faces.

We were in line to climb a tree. Both boys got up about 4 feet and freaked out and stopped, I made it to the top, it was fun, but hard on the feet with no shoes.

It was a really fun day with friends, too bad we never got a picture with all of us in it..oops!

Late Saturday night Mr. finally came home! He had the best time and is so excited for school to start. I don't know if I told you, but he was at his MBA orientation.

Sunday everyone was tired, okay mostly Mommy and Daddy, so it was fairly low key. We did swim lessons.

and I took two naps, yep two naps. Mr. thought he would take a picture of me sleeping.

And then I didn't take another picture, oops. Well Mr. did but he never sent me the pictures, but we bought Baby Fox his soccer stuff, now it's really official I'm a soccer mom, haha!

How was your weekend? What was your highlight?

Mine was Mr. coming home!

Friday Favorites #38

Happy Friday! Only 36 more hours until Mr. gets home...give or take, I just don't feel like doing math. My favorites this week. I didn't take a picture, but I sort of loved working from home this week. I wish I could do it every week, but alas it was a special occasion with Mr. being gone.

Since we're going to be soccer family soon, I thought we needed some proper soccer watching chairs. My cousin has these and loves them, so we figured we'd give them a try. These are the kid chairs, and they pretty much haven't left the front of the TV.

Testing them out

After naps and they're right back in them...and why does Mini Fox look like she's 7?! You know just chillin' with a book Mom.

When the kids had the convertible car seat and the infant car seat the middle seat was pretty much useless,  but since buying Baby Fox his new car seat, I can actually fit. Now when we have 5 people we don't have to take two cars, woo hoo! I wouldn't want to take a long car trip, but it worked! Glad I thought of it now, just before MIL comes to town!

Mr. is at his MBA orientation and he says the student center is amazing. I think we need to visit and I need to try out this wall, how cool is that?!

Then he got a glimpse of the marching band, I love marching bands, just wished they showed us the half time shows at football games on tv, instead of recapping what we just saw!

We went to dinner with my parents last night. Too hot to cook, so we went to our usual, In and Out. I need longer arms.

Mini Fox's new thing is to ask Papa (she calls him Papa, Baby Fox calls him Ampa) to tell her a story, she's really into this one. As soon as he finishes, she says more!

Afterwards they kids wanted to take their bath at Ampa and Nana's house. Baby Fox is such a good brother, helping sister to reach the button. I die of cuteness.

I did not pick out her boots, she did, she loves those things

Baby Fox wanted to take selfies with my phone...there were 10 others that didn't make the cut.

Then suddenly he says, Mommy jump in.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend! We have a splash pad and a school carnival to look forward to!

Happy Thursday! Especially since today is my Friday, yay! I know this is 2 weeks late, but better late than never? Visiting friends is the best, and I got the BEST news while visiting them. They're moving back to California! I'm so excited. They always said they would move back, it's only taken 13 years to do it, haha.

The kids were so cute in the little kiddie pool. I can't wait to live within a days driving distance from them.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway for $500 gift card to Amazon, you only have 2 days left, so get on it!

My Summer Uniform

Happy Hump Day, although I only have one more day and then it's the weekend for me! Gotta love getting every other Friday off. Living in Southern California typically our hottest months are in August/September and most of October (somehow every year on Halloween the seasons finally change and it's actually cold). My outfits most days consist of shorts and tank tops or tees. I'm loving this tee right now, it's loose and so comfy, everyone should have one, seriously. It's on sale, and in colors I don't have, too bad I put a self imposed ban on clothes shopping this month, darn it!

I love the pop of color in the earrings and the bracelets, it makes it easy to wear chasing kids around, but still put together.

I've been trying to do my hair more lately, I was thinking of doing a hair challenge in September. A different hair style everyday for a week? What do you think? Anyone else want to join me?

In case you were wondering those are most definitely not my eyelashes, those are the Ardell 120 Demi Wispies. My favorite eyelashes ever.

The lipstick I added two colors together, sorry can't remember which ones.

I think the hair challenge is going to be fun...I hope! I'm taking a week off in September, just hang out with the kids, was thinking I would do it that week will have more time on my hands...hopefully. Who's with me?!

And onto some randoms:

Mr finally got his new phone, which means I got a "new" phone, woo hoo! It works so much faster than my old phone and it takes way better pictures! I've already dropped the phone sevearal times, that thing is small and slippery. I've ordered a new case with the kids picture on it from Picaboo (not affiliated link, I just really like the product), have you used them before? They're pretty awesome and they always have a sale going on. I got a tough iPhone case with the kids picture on it for $20 plus S&H. Pretty good right?

This is Baby Fox's favorite part of swim lessons, getting to jump in.

The face of a kid who does not want his picture taken...at all.

And last random for today, for some reason I got on an Acapella kick last week and I'm still on it. This video is pretty awesome, and this guy has amazing talent. Go to 1:25 and see how he breaks down the different sounds, mind still blown on this one.  Then at 3:17 he literally shows you all the layers that went into making it. He does this with a lot of his videos. Anyone else with me on this? Just me?....anyone?

Hope you're having a great Wednesday.

I am straight up copying Pinky with this. I just thought it was fun. So here we go!

A|| Available: Always for a friend

B|| Biggest Fear: Scary Movies

C|| Crushing On: Mr.

D|| Drink You Had Last: Water...at the gym

E|| Easiest Person to Talk To: Mr.

F|| Favorite Song:

Every time I hear this song, I can't help but smile.

G|| Grossest Memory:

Baby Fox (you knew it had to do with the kids) was about 4 weeks old or so, and I'm sitting on the couch holding him, when suddenly I feel something warm on my arms and on my legs. I look down hoping it was just pee, but nope it was the other one. So now imagine me waddling to the bathroom, Baby Fox cradled against my body, legs closed so that the poop doesn't run to the ground. It was super gross, but I laughed about it the next day.

H|| Hometown:

Simi Valley - Home of the Happy Face Hill. For the past 17 years this is what I see when I went home, one day it just appeared and it just makes you smile every time you drive into my home town. It says "home" to me. We do live in desert land, so this is mostly almost always brown, but you can always see the happy face just sitting there greeting you as you enter.

I||  In Love With:

My family, obviously. But a materialistic thing, my Cricut...I love making fun creations with it for parties and what not. I can only image the things I'll be creating for my kids various activities.

O|| One Wish:

Okay how mom am I? When I read this, I thought, "if I had one wish, it would be for more fish!" from Dinosaur Train...anyone? But my one wish right now, is that Baby Fox marries someone that I love and get along with. Please don't let him date people I absolutely hate...please, please, please.

T||  Time you Woke Up:

4:30am...unfortunately.

U|| Unsure Of:

How I'm going to get through the week without Mr. Just keeping it real.

V||  Violent Moment You Had:

The last time I really got mad was when these people left their dog in their truck with just the little back window open. I was so mad that I actually left a note telling them it was unfair to their dog and that that little window was not enough circulation. Poor dog.

W|| Worst Habit[s]:

Clutter, I collect little piles of things around the house. I seriously look at it everyday and think I need to clean it up, but never do...it's awful, and I hate that about myself. I want to be organized, but just can't seem to get my act together.
