10 Reasons I Would Die In a Zombie Apocalypse Or End Of the World Situation

Hi Foxy Friends! I know silly subject, but I thought, you guys would really want to know this, haha! Fact about me and Mr: If there is a zombie, end of the world, aliens trying to take over the world, we have watched it. It all started with 28 days later, and we've been hooked ever since. Now with Netflix, the options are abundant. They like them a good end of the world movie. So here are 10 reasons I would not survive a Zombie Apocalypse/End of the World situation:

| ONE | I have to pee every 5 seconds, seriously, in those movies these people NEVER pee. I can imagine it, I'm running from the zombies and have to stop to go pee, DEAD.

| TWO | Which brings me to running...yes I run, but running at full speed for any length of time longer than 30 seconds...I'm out. We were watching What Still Remains on Netflix and girlfriend seemed to run for a LONG time with a backpack away from the bad guy. DEAD.

| THREE | Weapons, don't know how to really use them or efficiently. DEAD.

| FOUR | If I did know how to use a weapon and happened to score an animal have no idea how to create fire without matches nor how to clean it. DEAD.

| FIVE | I assume all berries growing on plants are poison. So basically I can't pick food, I can't kill it, so DEAD.

| SIX | I trust people too easily. They say they won't hurt me and will share the food I have managed to gather...yep I'll trust ya. DEAD

   Side Note: I would NOT have let that guy in the house in Bird Box, she was crazy to let that guy in!

| SEVEN |  Speaking of trust, I don't think I could hit anyone to get something I wanted...like punch someone in the face? Although I might if my life was in danger? Not sure, but as it stands right now, I don't think I could. DEAD.

| EIGHT | Bad under pressure, I'm pretty sure hiding behind that desk and then moving around it as the alien is on the other side...there is no way I am silent in my crying or moving. DEAD.

| NINE | Going back to the food thing, I get squeamish with having to eat living insects, I'm not sure I could...maybe in life or death situation, which this is...but really not sure if I could. DEAD.

| TEN | Showers are few and far between, I can't stand being dirty, and there probably isn't dry shampoo, problematic. OH and when they do find a river or lake and it's freezing outside and they just hop in to wash off, I am such a WIMP when it comes to being cold. So now I'm dirty, hungry and cold, can't start a fire or fetch food. DEAD.

Bonus: So Mr. and I are watching a zombie movie and I realize we ONLY have filtered water, we stopped buying bottled water, save plastic, blah blah, reusable bottles. So if the end of the world was going to happen, we would have no water, so you better believe I bought a flat of water at Costco next time I was there. It stays under the bed in the guest room.

Funny this post comes right now, my mom texted me a story about Mini Fox yesterday.

Perhaps if I have Mini Fox with me, I will/can survive! Yep going to rely on my 5 year old to keep me alive.

Perfect Outfits and an Epic Fight

Hello Wednesday, only two more days till the weekend! I can do this, Thursday and Friday always seem to pass faster once Wednesday rolls around. Every since I got this dress and that vest I've wanted to pair it together. I've seen others pair their vest and striped dressed and I thought, I can do that too. I really like the pop of color in my necklace. Such a comfortable summer outfit.

When Mr. and Baby Fox went to get my birthday decorations they also picked up some water balloons. He's been itching to use them ever since. The kids had a blast!

Waiting for Daddy to fill up the balloons.

Running from Daddy

Trying to get Daddy

Getting a picture of them both standing still at the same time, near impossible.

She was soaked and loved every single minute of it. I love random fun evenings after work. They make my heart happy. Then we ate a nice dinner and watched part of the old school Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I had forgotten how much I love that movie.

Any random happenings on this fine Wednesday in your neck of the woods?

Want To Know My ABC's?

I am straight up copying Pinky with this. I just thought it was fun. So here we go!

A|| Available: Always for a friend

B|| Biggest Fear: Scary Movies

C|| Crushing On: Mr.

D|| Drink You Had Last: Water...at the gym

E|| Easiest Person to Talk To: Mr.

F|| Favorite Song:

Every time I hear this song, I can't help but smile.

G|| Grossest Memory:

Baby Fox (you knew it had to do with the kids) was about 4 weeks old or so, and I'm sitting on the couch holding him, when suddenly I feel something warm on my arms and on my legs. I look down hoping it was just pee, but nope it was the other one. So now imagine me waddling to the bathroom, Baby Fox cradled against my body, legs closed so that the poop doesn't run to the ground. It was super gross, but I laughed about it the next day.

H|| Hometown:

Simi Valley - Home of the Happy Face Hill. For the past 17 years this is what I see when I went home, one day it just appeared and it just makes you smile every time you drive into my home town. It says "home" to me. We do live in desert land, so this is mostly almost always brown, but you can always see the happy face just sitting there greeting you as you enter.

I||  In Love With:

My family, obviously. But a materialistic thing, my Cricut...I love making fun creations with it for parties and what not. I can only image the things I'll be creating for my kids various activities.

J|| Jealous Of:

Too many things to count, and I'm working on letting them not bother me.

My brother who is 9 months younger than me.

My sister who is 5 years older than me.

O|| One Wish:

Okay how mom am I? When I read this, I thought, "if I had one wish, it would be for more fish!" from Dinosaur Train...anyone? But my one wish right now, is that Baby Fox marries someone that I love and get along with. Please don't let him date people I absolutely hate...please, please, please.

P|| Person Who Called Last:

Mr.- He seems to get on this list a lot doesn't he? Facetime is a wonderful thing isn't it?

Q|| Question You're Always Asked:

Do you know (fill in the blank)?

R|| Reason to Smile:
These little humans

S|| Song You Last Sang:

Well since I was looking up the song from F, going to have to go with that one. But the last song I sang in the car with Baby Fox on our way home from the gym last night was this:

T||  Time you Woke Up:

4:30am...unfortunately.

U|| Unsure Of:

How I'm going to get through the week without Mr. Just keeping it real.

V||  Violent Moment You Had:

The last time I really got mad was when these people left their dog in their truck with just the little back window open. I was so mad that I actually left a note telling them it was unfair to their dog and that that little window was not enough circulation. Poor dog.

W|| Worst Habit[s]:

Clutter, I collect little piles of things around the house. I seriously look at it everyday and think I need to clean it up, but never do...it's awful, and I hate that about myself. I want to be organized, but just can't seem to get my act together.

Not My Video Thursday

Okay, so I lied, I don't have my Vlog ready today. Most of the times, I'll get most of the vlog ready and then Wednesday after work I add the ending credits and the music, but last night we got home sort of late from Legoland and I was just WAY too tired to do anything other then get ready for work today...and I barely got that done.

So I figured I would show you some videos that I've been liking lately.

I thought this was a super cool video and someone has way too much time on their hands.

My old professor's husband posted this video to FB, and I thought I would show you one of the reasons I loved my college so much. Although half of the buildings are new, heck they didn't offer cable on campus until my sophomore year and the first off campus establishment...guess what it was? Jamba juice and it was a HUGE deal my Senior year. Now they have so much more, not sure if I should be jealous or just love the fact that life was so much more simple before smart phones and facebook, wait did I just date myself there?

Loving this song. I started following Brooklyn and Bailey's Mom's hair channel and then found the girls. They are so sweet and put out really sweet videos. But loving this song that they did with Peter. Wow what a voice/ how talented is Peter, all of his videos are awesome, and the fact that he does it all, mind blowing.

So what have been your favorite videos lately? Send them my way!

Love and Hate

I love this tag, I loved reading everyone's Love/Hate things, I found that so many times I was saying...YES that's ME! I was tagged by Vanessa and Deena  go check out their Love/Hate posts. Here we go, 10 things I love and hate. Although hate is such a strong word, so I'm just going to go with with things that make me cry, mostly because I found a picture of Mini Fox crying and thought that it fit.

1. These people

2.  My Saturday sunrise hikes

3. The summer and being able to swim after work before dinner. Love when it's lighter later.

4. Perfect days, one that involves my family and being with them every second of the day.

5. That I joined Alison's Challenge over a year ago and I found that clothes makes a huge different in your confidence. I didn't realize it at the time, but she really changed my life.  She made me try things I never thought I would and love

Like a Jean Jacket or Jean Vest

6.  The smell of the pavement after a good rain

7. The first sleep after you change your sheets

8. Baby snuggles, nothing beats when they lay their little heads done on your shoulder.

9.  Gilmore Girls - that show makes me ridiculously happy, I can watch reruns over and over again. I think it's the fast pace talking? I'm not sure what it is, but I just love that show. Maybe it's that it was something I did with my Mom when I lived at home, every Tuesday night we'd snuggle up on the couch and watch GG.

10. Planning parties, I love throwing people parties and the looks on their face when they see the decorations and all the people that come to help them celebrate. I love creating the party decorations, I think my favorite to date was the backdrop I created for Baby Fox's half birthday this year.

She is crying in this picture because she wanted to suck on the pacifiers that are sitting on her lap and I wouldn't open them. Life is rough.

Like I said, I didn't want to put the word hate on a picture of my daughter, so I did cry instead, these things don't necessarily want to make me cry, but pretty darn close.

1. People who can't drive. I drive over 100 miles a day to and from work, so when it comes to weekend driving, people drive me crazy. They drive super slow in the carpool lane and then you're stuck there, driving behind someone driving super slow when you can clearly see that there is a good mile between them and the next car.

2. When people at work send me an email and spell my name wrong. Like really? You just entered my email address in your address box, and it clearly says saraH, that's just being lazy.

3. Being hungry, enough said. Speaking of which, I am super hungry right now.

4. The first 26 weeks of pregnancy, morning sickness is no joke.

5.  Feeling left out. Although I try to pretend it doesn't bother me, but deep down I'm dying to know why I wasn't invited, or if they don't like me, I'm super insecure when it comes to feeling left out.

6. When people think they are more important then others. A few examples: That guy who wants to turn right, but is in the left hand turn lane and then holds up everyone else in line wanting to turn left just so he can wait for all the cars to pass so he can turn right? That guy. Or when a lady cuts in line in front of me at the grocery store (when I have two squirmy kids in my Costco cart) and when I say something, she says, she was there first when clearly she was in that other line over there. That lady. Or when people take up two parking spaces, and they know they've done it and don't fix it because their time is more important than anyone elses, just back up and adjust, it takes 2 seconds.That guy.

7. When PMS takes over and I'm crying/mad for no reason and I know it's ridiculous, but I'm crying anyway.

8.  Ants, I hate them in my house, I hate them when I have a picnic and I hate that they make me feel itchy just thinking of them. (as I scratch my head)

9.  Scary Movies. Well that's not true, I do love watching a good scary movie, but the aftermath is not pretty. For months I'll have nightmares, seriously.  We've had to stop watching all scary movies for this reason. We just started watching the Netflix show called Sense8, have you heard of it? It's boarderline too scary for me, and in reality it's not scary at all. But really good, we've only watched 2 episodes, but so far we're hooked.

10.  Not knowing the ending. Of anything really, a book, a movie, sports event, I just want to know how it ends so I'm not sitting there in anticipation. If I just know the ending I don't have to worry about what's going to happen next and can just enjoy whatever I'm watching. I probably should add being out of control. This is definitely a control thing, but that's for a different post ;)

I'm supposed to tag 10 people.

Spring Outfit and Some Randoms

Happy Wednesday, hump day, I only have one more day of work and then off for 3 days, woo hoo! This is an outfit I wanted to put together for a while. I finally got the nerve to wear it. I tend to sway towards A-Line dresses, so this maxi dress is definitely out of my comfort zone. But the jacket really helped out a bit on the comfort level.  I wish I had taken pictures of my cute new sandals, but forgot. I was trying to get the pictures, while keeping the kids out of the pool.

We took these pictures in about 3 minutes, and this is how many times and directions Mini Fox walked in and out of the pictures. She's so cute.

On to some randoms for the day:

  • My fitness update: it's sort of taken a back seat in light of our trips to both Tahoe and Santa Barbara, but we're back on track this week. Luckily I haven't fallen too far off course. I'll check back in next week, I think I might be backing off a little on being so strict with it, it was making me way grumpy and just totally unhappy at times, especially on the weekend when I didn't have meals planned and there was no food in the house. I'll keep you posted.

  • Loving these pictures that we got while we were gone.

  • I just got an email from Picaboo (photobook site) and they are having unlimited free pages for the price of a book, so I could have up to 160 pages for $45, that's a pretty good deal! Deal ends on Monday at midnight PST, so if you're wondering where I am for the next week I'll be behind my computer trying to get 160 pages worth of pictures in. Looking back at pictures like this:

I just can't believe how little my babies were. Now I'm going back to working on my photobook...I'm doing my picture a day for Mini Fox's first year of life...I'm in the beginning of October, 11 more months to go! Pray for me.

Hope you are all having a great week!

Stripes and Leopard Oh My

What looks better than stripes and leopard? I'm not sure, but really loving this outfit. What I hate the most about this outfit, I can't wear it more than once a week. Boo!

I picked up this jacket during my Spring Style Challenge shopping spree. But it's been so hot here, this is the first time I've had a chance to wear it, crazy I know! It just sat in my closet taunting me, everyday, since it's the first thing in my closet.

Jeans - Loft (similar), Long Sleeve T - Target, Jacket - Target (similar), Scarf - Norstroms (similar), Booties - Target (similar)

Some randoms:

Yesterday morning, Baby Fox woke up 1.5 hours before normal and Mini Fox woke up a little early too, what better time than to snuggle and watch some tv? In matching jammies and blankies (her's is pink polka dot, his is blue polka dot) of course!

I could just kiss those cheeks off!

I guess one water wasn't enough, she needed one in each hand.

She was actually playing with this little pink castle last night, it was so cute.

After Mr. got home, some friends called and said they were headed to Chuck E. Cheese, I haven't been in 28 years? We get there, and are walking up to go in and we ask each other, is there a cover charge to get in (there were velvet ropes at the door)? How does this work? haha...we're so old. In case you didn't know, when you walk in you're stopped by a velvet rope to get a stamp, everyone in your family gets the same number stamp so when you leave they shine a black light over your arm to make sure all the numbers match. We appreciated that.

I didn't take a picture, but I made some turkey salad sandwiches and they were killer. Try it, you won't regret it.
