$10 Target Haul March Edition

Hi Foxy Friends! I know two posts in one day, crazy pants right?! But I really wanted to do both of these posts with some fun blogging ladies, so here I am another post down for the week. For this months post, I actually got to go to Target alone...so...truth be told, I told Mr. I was going to the grocery store and then "accidentally" stopped at Target on my way, haha! Anyway, mostly it was all the stuff there was Easter related, so I got some Easter stuff. In hopes that I would decorate for Easter...maybe? I've been super lazy decorating for the seasons this year, not sure, just don't have the motivation?

Here is what I found:

I thought I would use the bunny as the center of my door Wreath.

The kids love the window cling ons...so had to get some of those.

I loath dying eggs, I have no idea why. But I just don't like it, we've never done it with the kids. I found those eggs that are fake and they can color on them and they are already decorated..done. They were excited when they saw them, so mission accomplished, on me more year of no egg dying is good for me.

I actually realize while I'm writing this I also bought some hair things for Bella but she tore into them as soon as she saw them. Oops.

How did I do spending wise?

Easter Eggs: $3
Bunny Sign: $3
Window Stickers: $1
Hair Clips: $1

Total: $8.60

Darn I could have spent another dollar, hehe.  So what did you buy? Anything good?

$10 Target Haul: February Edition

Happy Monday Foxy Friends! I'm back with the $10 Target Haul link up! It's fun to go into Target and try to find what you can get for $10. I found mostly Valentine's Day things, so even though V-Day was last week, let's roll with it.

I am obsessed with Swedish Fish, and the little ones taste better than the bigger ones. They came out with littl heart shaped ones, and they taste like the little ones...SO dang good. I tried to go back to Target on February 15th, to get the left overs, but there were none...actually all of the Valentine's Day stuff was cleaned up already and the shelves were complete empty...heart breaking...okay, not really but I was super disappointed.

I haven't had the energy to decorate, and I don't have many Valentine's Day things, so I thought the little banner would be cute. Then  Mini Fox and a friend did the rest of the decorating. It's a hodge podge, but they made most of it, and I love it.

Mini Fox painted the background of that sign, and then a friend did the saying because they both love that movie...points to anyone who knows the movie!

I was going to use the cupcake stuff for a treat for Mini Fox's preschool, but they said no treats, then I was going to do fruit cups...but that never happened. So I guess I'll be ready for next year.

So what did you get for $10? Link up down below!

$10 Target Haul: November Edition

I'm back again, with another $10 Target haul. You know what, when I went to Target, the Dollar Spot, or rather $3 spot was almost compeletly empty...see what I mean? They must have been changing over from Halloween to Thanksgiving/Christmas...so I had to go find stuff elsewhere.

First I headed over to the jewelry department to try and find something there...I did find this necklace, but it didn't compel me enough to buy them.

Then I tried over in clothes, they're clearance rack was seriously lacking...nothing there.

Time was not on my side, as I was here by myself, but had to get back home to go somewhere afterwards, and I had several other stops to make...so after searching high and low and coming up emtpy handed, I settled on some random things that we needed in the house.

I picked up the Sharpies, because who doesn't love those, and I used up all my Sharpies doing a Wine Cork Pull (eventually I'll blog about that). And I had initally gotten the glitter paint as a stocking stuffer for the girl, but Baby Fox was going through my bags and saw it...and announced, hey it's glitter paint! I knew I couldn't then put it in the stocking, because for some reason Baby Fox thinks Santa leaves the stockings too. We never told him that.

So that's it, here is the price break down.

Sharpie: $3.99
Glitter Paint: $5.49

Tax: $0.78

Total: $10.26

So I went over a little, stupid tax. I should really get the red card, but I never remember to bring a check to tie it to my account...So what did you get for your $10?

Go Check out what the other ladies are buying.

$10 Target Haul: October Edition

Happy Monday Friends! It's that time of the month when we give you permission to go to Target and spend $10. You can tell your significant others that we gave you permission, cause that totally works right? Anyway, last month I got a bunch of stuff for Halloween and I sort of did the same this month.

I saw these little lanterns and I HAD to have them, they were calling my name. I had no idea how I was going to use them, but for $3 each, they were mine!

Then they had that little cute skeleton and I had to bring him home too, thinking I could hang him in the corning of the room, only it turns out he was small. So I moved him to by the table with the lanterns. I have something else for this wall, but have to put it together still, I'll show you on Friday.

So how much did I spend?

Lanterns: $3 each for a total of $6
Skeleton: $3

Total: $9.83

Under the budget again, woo hoo! So what did you get with your $10? Go see what the other ladies got with their $10.

$10 Target Haul: September Edition

Happy Monday Foxy Friends! I almost forgot about this post, so I didn't actually do any shopping until Friday! Oops! But I did find some stuff, but you're going to have to wait to see what I did with everything for another post, since I didn't have time to do anything with it yet.

We didn't have a ton of time this time, so the kids and I headed out to Target and found so many good things in the dollar three dollar spot.

Here are some of the things that I found that I really wanted to get, but they didn't quite make the cut.

I wanted this sign, but the kids wanted another, so they won.

How cute is this pillow?

This is super cute chalkboard pumpkin, but I had no idea where I would put it...hmm...

So what did I end up with?

Some Halloween window clings, can't beat those for $1 each. Also this banner. I have some fun plans for this, so stayed tuned, don't worry, it's not that big, but I'm excited to use my new Cricut.

I think I'm going to use this for a front door wreath, just have to figure out what.

So how much did I spend?

Banner: $3
Spider Sign: $3
3 window clings: $3

Total: $9.83

Under the budget, woo hoo! So what did you get with your $10? Go see what the other ladies got with their $10.

$10 Target Haul: August Edition

Hello Foxy Friends! Normally I would show you all the things that I bought at Target for $10, but this time the ladies and I decided that it would be fun to, instead of spending $10, combine our money and do a Target Give A Way! How fun is that?

Truth be told, the last time I went into Target, I was buying all the school supplies for Baby Fox. I did pass by the dollar section to try and peruse, but Mr. was with me and starts to get impatient if we stray too far from why we are there. The kids usually don't care, I told him he was worse then the kids. He just laughed at me and agreed.

I did find some things I would have maybe considered had I been doing the $10 challenge. These finger crayons, how fun are these? Stick on fingers and now you can draw...I think the kids would love this.

A taco gel for the windows, yes please! Although at $3 this was sort of expensive for this, I probably wouldn't have gotten it, but it's super cute.

I love buying the kids matching plates, we have some for every holiday, and quite frankly the kids like having matching things as well. These plates were so dang cute, perfect for Summer.

I found these honeycombs with tassels, which was super cool, just wished it came in colors for Mini Fox's birthday party.

I did, however, find these honeycombs that are somewhat close to the Frozen theme color, so I had to buy them for the party. I have no idea how I am going to decorate for the party, but I'll eventually get there. I hope!

$10 Target Haul: July Edition

I can't believe that another month has passed and we're doing another $10 Target haul. This month I have a funny story to tell you. But first I'll show you what I got.

I figured I didn't really need anything and everything seemed to be geared towards back to school, so I got all things that had to do with back to school. I've been trying to teach him how to read a clock and we made a make shift one, so I thought I would get him this. We played with it over the weekend, he was so cute filling out all of the numbers.

I saw this and had to have it. I have no idea what I'm going to use it for...what can I spell with 10 blocks? Hmmm...I'm thinking I'll put it in my kitchen window, or maybe it will be a part of my mantel for Fall...

I've also been working with Baby Fox on learning money, but turns out Mini Fox attached herself to this, and Baby Fox had no interest, perhaps it's because I was making him learn with it. I gave it up for now and we'll see. Perhaps I need to find some other way to make him interested in learning money.

Okay onto my random story. My friend texts me one night and says, hey rumor has it those back to school boards are in stock at Target right now. Okay back track to last September when everyone is posting their kids with these fantastic "My First Day Of..." boards and I'm jealous beyond belief and can't find it. Queue me waiting for 10 months and stocking Target like a crazy person for them to come back. Okay back to my story, my friend texts me, and I literally jump in my car at 9:15pm and hop on over to my friendly target.

I found the gems above. My precious board was not found. Feeling defeated I was driving home and decided there is another Target about a mile from here, I'm going for it. Here is my crazy face I sent to my friend.

And guess what? Yep after search every single shelf...I found it under here.

Wanna see them? This is the chalk board version.

This is the dry erase one.

And don't think I didn't buy them all. My friend wanted one of each and then well I had to buy the others for friends, just in case. In case you wanted to know, it's $5 each, what a steal right? I would have included these in my $10 haul, but I had already bought the other stuff, and didn't really want to return it.

So my total:

Chalk board clock - $3
Chalk Cubes - $3
Play Money - $3

Total: $9.83

Under budget, but technically over, because I then bought $30 worth of chalk boards 15 minutes later at a different Target. Oops. Target you got me again.

$10 Target Haul: June Edition

Hello Foxy Friends. I had a nice long weekend, full of friends and good times. Baby Fox finished Kindergarten on Friday and we couldn't be more proud of him. Today, I'm joining a bunch of awesome ladies for our $10 Target Haul! I do have a full confession to make, but will make it a bit later. Let's first get onto catching the BEST day ever at Target. Seriously, I never catch it when the just put out the fresh stock...but today was our lucky day. This whole thing on all sides was full of 4th of July things.

I had decorated for Spring, which I don't think I ever took a picture of it for you. Oh well. I decided since 4th of July is at the beginning of the month I was going to make the most of it and make it last from Memorial Day through 4th of July. Cause why not? Mini Fox went with me and let me tell you how hard it was for me to say not to this adorable hat on Mini Fox. I die it's so cute on her...but alas, I knew she wouldn't really wear it and I didn't really want it, so back on the shelf it went.

Then we came across these, so I texted my cousin to see if she wanted them. She did so I bought 5 of them for her. We do a pretty big 4th of July celebration with my family, so she was stocking up for the party. For $1 for 6, such a great deal.

Then I thought, this would be pretty awesome, pre kids...haha. And it was a little over our price range, but not too much, so I thought I could get away with it, hehe.

Finally we settled on this.

Okay here is where my confession comes in. Yes I bought this, and yes each thing was $3, but I needed to fill up a whole mantel worth of stuff, so this just wasn't going to cut it...so I bought some more stuff. Here is my whole mantel, all done with $3 Target bin stuff.

I definitely cheated this time around, but you know what I don't regret it at all. Perhaps next month I'll actually stick to the budget. I could have totally lied, but I really wanted to show you how it turned out, hehe. Does that ever happen to you? You go in thinking you're going to just get this, and then walk out with a whole mantel full of stuff? This happened again a few weeks before this, when I walked into Hobby Lobby and found all this cute Summer stuff I could use on the mantel...so I have everything all set to go for the summer mantel after this. Stay tuned for that, don't worry I won't pretend it was only $10, because heaven knows it wasn't anything close to that. Note to self, need to stay away from Target and Hobby Lobby near holidays.

There's the cakes stand from last month, proving to be a good $3 buy.

Now go check out what some of the other ladies bought with their $10, and link up yours below.
