Lots of Videos of the Fox Kids

Hi all! Happy Friday! Sorry but this post is going to be video heavy. I was hoping to get a Vlog up on our weekend last week, but well that didn't happen. I decided to work on Baby Fox's birthday invitations instead. I realized I want his party to happen in 7 weeks and I still need to order the invitations, which  usually take 7-10 days to get to me. I panicked, so I worked on that all night. But here are some happens going on over here lately.

Warning, there's just going to be a bunch of videos. Cause they're all so cute.

I just love these two and how much Baby Fox loves his sister. He likes calling her Honey, it's the most endearing thing ever.

I meant to post this on Monday, but it didn't upload by the time I was finished working on the post, so it got left behind...ah well. Now you get to see it.

Mr. is out of town, and the kids are missing him like crazy, they wanted to say hi. I love their cute little voices.

I finally found a hair style that makes my ponytail not fall out when working out. Do you have that problem? I put it up in a pony tail and throughout my workout/class I'm constantly having to re-do my pony tail. This half braid and then pull into a pony tail works perfect and I never once have to tighten or mess with my pony tail, it's pretty awesome.

Sorry for the crummy selfies...with my cell phone. Try not to concentrate on all the grey hairs that are coming in.

I was copying this hairstyle from Cute Girls Hairstyles and was shocked at how well my ponytail stayed, now I don't workout without it.

Isn't this how everyone sits in the cart?

She is so funny.

And I guess all of my things today had videos. You're welcome ;) At least they're all short. I'm going to work on last weekends vlog this weekend...I figure better late than never.

Some bonus pictures:

With Mr. out of town, I've had to work from home, I don't think anyone wants to come to our house at 5am. Plus it gives me a reason to work from home. So I can walk this guy to school.

I love that she still likes being in the carrier.

Done working for the day and ready to play.

What are you up to this weekend? We're headed to my bestie's son's birthday party.

Mother's Day Exchange

When I saw that Jenny, Courtney, and Elizabeth were organizing a Mother's Day gift Exchange I jumped at the chance. Get to know someone else in blogland plus get a gift, I was all in. When I got my package, I couldn't wait to open it. I got the kids down for the night, got in my PJ's and opened it up. Here's what I saw when I opened it.

I saw that cup just sitting there and almost squealed in delight. I've been wanting one of those!
The note card was so cute, too.

I just love handwritten messages, Jenny from The Chronicles of We was so sweet in her letter. She even picked one of my favorite colors and went with it. How did she do that?!

Yes Jenny, that cup will definitely be used poolside a lot this summer.
Here's everything in that little box. She really went overboard, with the cutest stuff.

I have no idea how Jenny did it, it's like she was in my head. I've been meaning to get one of those cups. My love of post its goes deep, I don't know what it is about the, but I just love them. I've never had washi tape before, I have been wanting to get some, but haven't because I wasn't sure what I would do with it, but now that I have it, I might just washi everything in my house, would that be okay? The note card and journal was just too perfect. I have an obsession with note cards, and I love that they're for any occasion really, not just a Thank You note. One can never have enough lip balm and journals right?

Thank you Jenny for making my Mother's Day that much more special. I got an awesome gift and I got to know you a little better. Now go check out what I got for Jessica from All Because Two People Fell In Love.

Too all of the Mom's out there, Happy Mother's Day, I hope your family treats you like the queen you are.

Style Blogger Spring Challenge - Outfits 17 thru 21

Last recap with the ladies, recapping our outfits for this past week. Click here for the previous outfits.  And the winner to last weeks giveaway is Kim P., congrats Kim, what are you going to spend your $100 on? Hopefully something for just you! You deserve it! Now onto this weeks outfits.

Day 17

I love this dress especially when you add it with my go to closet piece, my jean jacket obsession! I love the pop of pink, like some of you have been saying/noticing, I have a lot of pink in my closet.

Day 18

I think this was my least favorite outfit in the whole challenge. I think it's not the outfit pieces, just MY pieces. Some of the ladies styled them so great. May it was the fact that I tucked in my shirt? Perhaps next time I'll leave it untucked and I'll like it better. But I do like the scarf and the sweater together.

Day 19

I love the simplicity of this outfit. Black tank, jeans, wedges and some statement earrings. This is definitely going to be a repeat throughout the next few months. Maybe some MNO during the summer months.

I'm fierce...grrr....

My little photo bombers, I love them so much.

Mini Fox has some seriously cute clothes. I can't wait for her to stand still enough so I can do some outfit posts of her.

Day 20

All white outfit with a chambray, yes please! Why I hadn't thought of this before I don't know. I do know that I will be getting a longer chambray for when I need to tie it up like this, thanks Casey for the tip!

Day 21

This outfit is almost a copy of outfit 16, but without the cardigan and I added a statement necklace, I love how it just totally changes the look of the outfit. Same basic pieces with different accessories.

Since this is the last post for the Spring Challenge, The Challenge Ladies all decided that we would post our favorite outfits of the 21 outfits. Here are my top 3.

I love both of these outfits, black and pink, I'm not sure why I hadn't paired this together yet...

This is an outfit I NEVER would have put together. Actually I don't think I would have bought this floral skirt without Alison's list. I am so glad she did, because this is definitely going to be a repeat outfit.

My last favorite is these white jeans with the black tank and the floral scarf. Perfection.

Thank you Alison for telling me what to wear for the Spring. I'm trying to give myself a no clothes shopping until the Nordstrom Anniversary sale that usually happens in July...I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.

Did you participate in the challenge? What was your favorite outfit?

Now go check out how the other ladies styled their outfits!

A bonus for you Carrie, Lana, Deena and Leslie - haha!

Show and Tell Tuesday: Favorite Party I've Hosted

Linking up with Andrea today for Tuesday Show and Tell, todays show and tell is My Favorite Party That I've Hosted. I absolutely LOVE throwing parties. I love choosing the theme, then finding supplies, crafting everything, goodie bags, and the list goes on. If you're new here, Baby Fox was born on Christmas, yep on the actual day. After his First Birthday we decided that we would throw a half birthday, that way it's in the summer and we can take advantage of our pool. Heck that's the reason we bought a house with a pool right? But I think my favorite party to decorate for was his 2.5 construction themed birthday party. I've actually already blogged about it, but here is a quick recap:

I used my Cricut to make all of the signs. If you don't have one, you HAVE to get one, it's the best! I know they have newer models that can do more, but for now, the one I have is perfect!

I love telling people what they're eating with cute signs. I think it helps to fill out a table and make it look more complete.

Plus doing something fun with the plasticware is a must too.

Here's the close up, and random fact: This is my most pinned thing on Pinterest.

The goodie bags that everyone left with. Such a nice touch is to create these labels then buy those plastic bags from Michael's and put them all together, it looks like you bought them, but in reality, they're super simple and it packs a huge punch.

Bought some caution tape from Home Depot.

Drinks outside.

Birthday Zone tape bought from Amazon

I bought the stakes from Home Depot, super cheap, and just added some signs to them.

I decided since it was a half birthday I would make half of a birthday cake...

Everyone having fun and swimming. I really do love our backyard!

Since this is a party post, I did a whole post on 5 steps to throwing an awesome party. Click the picture below.
