15 Beauty Gifts For Her

Hello Foxy Friends! Happy Tuesday! Today I'm bringing you another gift guide, today it's all about the make up lover in your life. Just go ahead and send this list to your significant other because you're going to want everything on this list! Let's get started.

*Some of the links are affiliate links and I will  either receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you click on it or if you make a purchase from one of these links, I may also receive a commission on the sale of the product. Click here for my disclosure page.

1. Make Up Mirror - Every lady needs a good make up mirror, after doing some research this is the one on my list. It's dual sided and has a dim-able light, which is the part that I really like. Plus it pivots 360°, so you can basically put this mirror at any angle.

2. Ulta Beauty Box - For those ladies that are relatively new to make up and just want to try a bit of everything, this is the box for you, has some great deluxe sized things, like the Stila eyeliner, a favorite that I have purchased several times.

3. MAC Highligher - I recently bought this when I was with a friend and oh my goodness, highlighter goodness. I am obsessed with this highlighter! I got the color Oh Darling and it is one of the best highlighters EVER!

4. Too Faced Blush Palette - I just love a good blush palette, while I haven't tried this one, this palette has such pretty colors in it.

5. Jacyln Hill Palette - My favorite palette right now. It has the best colors for Fall and you can do so many eye looks with it. It has the perfect amount of shimmers and mattes, you can't go wrong with this one! Plus you get so many colors for your money.

6. EcoTools Brush Set - This is a great brush set for a great price.

7. Tartiest Lip Paint - Love this lip paint, it stays on all day and isn't too drying. Such  pretty colors too, super rich.

8. Stila All Day Liquid Lipstick - Love Stila and while I haven't tried this particular one, these colors are so gorgeous, anyone would love to have this in their mix of colors.

9. Tarte Eyeliner - My friend got this for me for my birthday and WOW, it's amazing. The pigment is gorgeous and long lasting, and doesn't pick up a bunch of make up when I'm putting it over my eyes hadow. Plus the gel side, holy staying power. Must have!

10.  Mascara - While I usually wear fake lashes, I LOVE this mascara for extra volume and length. I think I've gone through 3 bottle since discovering it last year, yep that's how much I love it.

I figure le'ts surprise her with some awesome stocking stuffers too! Here are my top 5 things to put in her stocking this year.

1. NailpolishTop CoatNail File - All ladies love some good nail polish. You can't go wrong with Essie and the Seche Vite top coat...man that stuff works wonders, makes my home done manicure look like the real deal, plus it's quick drying too!

2. Brush Cleaner - I've always wanted one of these, and at $4.99 it makes for the perfect stocking stuffer.

3. Liquid Brush Cleaner - Clean brushes, nothing is better, I pretty much clean mine after every use...mostly because I only have one set of brushes I like, so if I don't wash them, I don't get a good eye look the next time. But having a brush cleaner is always nice.

4. Too Faced Eye Shadow Primer - My favorite eye primer of all time. End of story.

5. EcoTools Eye Brush Set - I love that this is for eyes only. And you can't beat the price, makes for a great stocking stuffer!

So there you have it 15 ideas for gifts for the beauty lover in your life! Plus most of these things goes over $38 so win in my book, the mirror is $102, but worth every penny. Now to get Mr. to buy it for me for Christmas...Hey Mr. are you listening?

Who And What I Am Thankful For

Happy Monday Foxy Friends! Man we were so productive yesterday. Okay, Mr. was pretty productive and I just followed suite and got to working too. Got some stuff done I have been meaning to do for a while. Now that it gets dark before I get home, it's super hard to get blog pictures taken when I get home, so I have to do it on the weekend...which is hard, ya know. Anyway...got some pictures taken, projects started...hoping to be able to show it to you soon. Anyway, is November, which is all about being Thankful. Each Monday The Blended Blog is prompting you with a different Thankful theme, this week is Who and What we're thankful for.

WHO

Who I'm thankful for:

For Mr. for always knowing what I want, before I even know I want it (I'll just stop there so it doesn't get mushy)

My friends, for MNO and for getting out and about and making silly jokes and talking about the serious stuff and everything in between. Thank you friends for being there.

My parents for always helping out with the kids and always being there for us. I don't know what we would do without you guys!

For blogging friends, I don't know even know how I got so lucky to meet a bunch of crazy, like minded, but different group of ladies. I'm thankful for each one of you, and cannot wait to meet up again. And for those that I haven't met yet...we'll one day ladies, one day!

The people that aren't family but feel like family. Where we were at this time last year...crazy how fast this year has gone!

What

My job, being able to provide for my family. Even though I wake up at an ungodly hour...I'm thankful I have something to wake up for.

My vanpool (a carpool with 5 other people, so I only have to drive once a week), without it I don't think I could have done this commute for the last 8 years.

Mod Podge, I just discovered it and it's pretty awesome.

My new Circut, that can cut vinyl, so happy I can create so many different things now, I love giving homemade gifts and now the world is my oyster. Expect homemade gifts from me from now on.

Microwave, without it I would be so much more tired then I already am...I like being able to cook once every few days and being able to heat it up in the microwave. (it's silly to be thankful for, but I really am)

Dave's Killer Bread, it's good people, and he has thin sliced bread, so you can eat two pieces of his bread and it equals one piece of regular bread, it's the little things people. Go try it if you haven't.

Okay I'll end it there, so Who and What are you thankful for this holiday season? Link up below with your answers!

10 Favorite Gifts To Give

Happy Friday Foxy Friends! Today I'm linking up with Erin, I love this topic she picked out for 10 on the 10th. You know those gifts that you just keep giving people because they are just that good? Yep, I'm sharing my top 10 gifts I give people. So let's get started!

*Some of the links are affiliate links and I will  either receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you click on it or if you make a purchase from one of these links, I may also receive a commission on the sale of the product. Click here for my disclosure page.

Do I need to say anything more about the Barefoot Dreams circle cardigan? I think all the ladies in my life have one .

Then there are your girlfriends. Who you don't necessarily want to spend a ton of money on, but you want them to feel appreciated and loved. I give these things on repeat to my girlfriends, but make sure you keep track of who you give what to!

Nail kit - I pick out colors I think they'll like, add my favorite top coat and a nail file, perfect gift for all the ladies in my life.

Nailpolish
Top Coat
Nail File

Who doesn't love a good Eye Shadow Palette? This one has been my favorite this season and for $38 you can't beat it!

I almost always have these earrings on hand as well. They go on sale and I buy a few to have as gifts for my friends, although I might have to find a new go to since I've given these to 4 of my friends already!

I think a great clutch is great too. It's simple, not something they would use a ton, just for going out on the town probably, this Leopard Clutch (I actually bought this for my sister for her birthday, shee don't tell her it's in 10 days) is perfect for that. But if your friend isn't on the whole leopard is a neutral thing the White Cross Body and the Brown and Black Clutch will be perfect too.

Then there are couples that you have to give gifts to, or is that just me? But these are always on repeat with me too.

When giving a couple a gift I try to find things that they might not normally buy themselves. Like these cute cheese trays: SlateWood, or Tree Bark, all of these are super cute, but not sure if I would buy them myself, but I would love it if I got it as a gift!

Wine Accessories, who doesn't love wine accessories? Almost everyone drinks wine. Have you used this Vacuum Wine Stopper? We have one and have been using it for years! Helps to preserve that open bottle just an extra day or two...if it lasts that long, haha. The wine markers and the Aerator and Decantor are just fun. and the wine holder for luggage, how unexpected is that? Such a great idea, I know when I've traveled I just hoped and prayed that the wine bottle made it with my luggage and didn't break! I'm probably going to get this for my aunt and uncle.

Then there are the people in your life that are foodies, right? This olive oil and vinegar store is awesome! They have one local to me, and let me tell you when you try their 18 Year aged Balsamic vinegar, you will never go back to another one, EVER! Then they have all these different oils and vinegars for you to try. Some you didn't even know exisited, but are so yummy! They have a sampler you can get too, which is what I got my cousins last year and my brother and sister in law the year before. Great gift, and they do a great job with presentation. They ship, so get to it, go check them out, they are called Olive 41. Some of my other favorites: Infused Balsamic - more than 50 to chose from, Olive Oil- More than 15 to chose from, Infused Olive Oil - Over 50 to chose from.

I love this gift because who doesn't like a good Moscow Mule...actually I just had my first one a few weeks ago and it was delicious! But these mugs, super cute and something someone probably wouldn't buy for themselves. Moscow Mule Mugs

Mr. is so hard to buy for, I've gotten him these over the years...actually the small Speaker, is super reasonable priced and comes in colors! What? Bose that comes in colors...crazy talk! You can't go wrong with some Bose headphones, these are the ones I use daily at work

So there you have it, my top 10 gifts I give people. I do try to cater gifts to what they will like, but I feel like all of these gifts are pretty universal and someone is bound to like them! Good luck shopping, are any of you done out there? I'm not even close!

Scarf Accessory Is Back + Holiday Planning

Hello Foxy Friends! Now that the common threads challenge is over, I have a whole closet to play with, it's pretty fantastic after limiting myself to using 5 things...the weather is finally cooling off, so now we're in high 60's which means...I can break out the scarves! Before I did Alison from Get Your Pretty On's challenge (affiliate link), I wouldn't dare wear leopard, but now...bring it on!

Dress (similar) / Leopard Scarf (similar) / Boots (similar)

I love that just by adding a scarf, it makes the outfit seem so much more pulled together. I tried a necklace, but it just didn't do the same thing.

I bought these boots to go with an outfit for our Christmas cards 2 years ago...and then they sat in a box...for two years...yep, this is the first time I have worn them. We got our family pictures done, and then I had ankle surgery the very next day. For whatever reason they hadn't made it out of the box, until Sunday. It was slightly chilly, and I don't like wearing pants to church, so this was a great compromise.

I'm also linking up with Shay and Erica for Workin' It Wednesday, today's topic is planning for the holidays.

Now that the kids are getting older, I feel like planning fun things for them is a must. This year we are going to the Polar Express and the North Pole Experience. We are all so stinkin' excited!  Yes we're driving 10+ hours to get there, actually Siri says it's 8ish hours...but that's driving straight with no traffic and no stops, so let's go with 10+, wish us luck!

As far as planning goes, we always go to my cousins house for Thanksgiving, so I don't really have to worry about that, besides whatever side dish she wants us to bring. I always buy the kids matching Thanskgiving PJ's to wear after the turkey and pie has been eaten.

We also found out taking the kids to see Santa the day before Thanksgiving, yep that happens. No lines and we can pretty much take as many pictures as we want...score. Plus that way I can put that picture in our family calendar for the following year. Win-win.

That being said I also always getting matching PJ's for Christmas too. I used to buy them for the whole family, but I got too much grief from the Mr....maybe I'll spring it on him the night before Christmas, haha. Anyway, I got these to wear on the Polar Express, and these to wear to the cousin party. I actually bought 13 pairs of these for all of the little cousins to wear to The Cousin Party.

I'm going to ride that matching PJ's thing for as long as possible! Not sure how many more years I'm going to get out of them, now that Baby Fox doesn't like to sleep with a shirt and wears shorts...but at least he puts them on for pictures. I'm hoping with the weather getting slightly cooler, he'll start wearing pants, so at least the bottom half of them can match?

Apparently the only picture I took last year wearing their matching Pj's where they are in the same picture, oops!

I try to plan out my decorating too, I pretty much know where everything is going to go, so when we get everything out, everything has a place...at least that's the plan. Full confession, we're getting the Christmas tree out on Sunday because that's the only weekend until the second week of December to do it, and there isn't any way that this lady can handle a 12 foot Christmas tree on her own!

Last but not least, I plan for Baby Fox's birthday! I always make it special and have a special cake for him on his birthday (Christmas), so it makes it special. I never want him to feel like he gets overlooked because of Christmas. Although it does make it hard, when he wonders why the rest of his cousins can't come to Christmas/his Birthday party, since we host every year...

That's it, I always take on too much...making too many cookies, doing too many things, but you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way!

How To Make Popcorn On The Stove

Hey Foxy Friends! Over the weekend I was making the kids some popcorn as a snack and thought, hey I should do a video on this! So I did. It's super easy! All you need is some kernels, a pan with lid and some oil...salt and butter option, but almost a must! So here it is! Hope you make some popcorn soon. It's so delicious, if I had my way I would have it everyday.

Head on over to The Blended Blog to see the recipe written down, if you are more of a recipe follower type.
