Random Crafted Thoughts

Hi Foxy Friends! Today you're getting two posts in one, because I couldn't decide what I wanted to write about, so I'm doing both! First I'm linking up with The Blended Blog for their Favorite Things Monday post. Then I always seem to miss Laura's 3 Things series, but not today! Okay let's get started!

| ONE |

Favorite thing right now is this high waisted bathing suit (top/bottom). You guys, it's awesome! Has the comfort of a one piece but the look of a two piece, I get the hype. We're going on two bathing suit vacations this year, Spring Break in Palm Springs and then Hawaii, so lots of bathing suit options is a must!

I love this this one too, so dang cute, coming with us on vacation.

See other bathing suit options that I love here.

Oh and my favorite slip on shoes are even more on sale! I am going to get them in rose gold color. I wear them ALL the time. Wear them all day at work walking around, no socks, super comfortable and no blisters. What more could you want from a shoe? The rose gold is under $23!

| TWO |

I love that Mini Fox is doing her own hair, pretty soon she's not going to need me, waaaahhh!!!!

She told Mr. "Daddy! I did my own hair!" Mr. interpreted that as "I don't need you any more"

| THREE |

Loving baseball season right now, even though it's rained a lot, at least the kids got to play this weekend! Baseball is so much more fun to watch than soccer when all the kids just clump together, hehe.

| ONE | Do you believe in luck?

Yes I believe in luck, it's lucky every time I win a giveaway. Which seems like it happens all the time. Like that one time I won $500 to Victoria Secrets, or just a few months ago when I won $300 to Ulta, thank you Cara! Doing an Ulta Haul soon!

| TWO | What was your favorite thing about yesterday or today?

Baseball season! I love all of it, I loved that we could watch both games, that they didn't overlap and that the kids LOVED it and they are playing with their friends.

| THREE | Show us the last picture you took...

Lunch with friends.

What was the last picture you took? Show me in the comments below!

Weekly #9

Hi Foxy Friends! Happy Friday! Today is another one of my days off and I have a mile long list of things to do, and a very short amount of time to do it. I feel like when the kids have minimum days for school, the morning just FLIES by! Anyway, here are my favorites for the week:

In case you missed it this week:

Monday: TBB Asks
Tuesday: Sentence A Day

Last Thursday there weren't enough ladies to do bunko, so we went to dinner instead. I could get to that, although Bunko is fun. Love these ladies.

Last Friday Baby Fox had a jog-a-thon, he was so cute, and so excited that I was able to make it. So glad I have a job that allows me to occasionally work from home so I can attend those types of things. It was drizzly but didn't stop these kids from having fun.

Baby Fox's class was suppose to wear white.

He did 14 laps, after 10 laps 7-11 gave them all a free Slurpee. He was stoked, and then his friend gave his to Baby Fox and he was even more excited.

Saturday Mini Fox's baseball game got cancelled. They moved Baby Fox's game to Friday night, which really worked out because Saturday was his 1st reconciliation. He was so excited/nervous.

They said no pictures, I snuck this one, walking in line to go see a priest.

After it was all said and done Baby Fox said he couldn't stop smiling and that he was so happy.

We went out for celebratory donuts, yum!

Afterwards I facetimed a friend, in all honesty she's the first person I've ever face timed that was a family member. She said, I must really like you because I answered, lol! But she knew why I was calling to get advice on our New Kids On the Block Tickets in May, woo hoo! So excited to go! Got nose bleed seats, but who cares!

The rest of Saturday was spent cooking, these guys helped for a hot second when I made some cookies.

Then I proceeded to make food for a bazillion people. I made a lot so we could freeze a lot, I was in the kitchen for 7 hours, yikes! No pictures, oops!

Sunday after church we headed to the Symphonic Jazz Orchestra performace, where they help raise money to bring a music program to schools. Amazing concert, it was too short though! That hour just FLEW by. My uncle got us good seats too because he's on the board.

Afterwards we surprised my aunt with a cake for her birthday. She was shocked. So many things to celebrate. Here's to a WAY better year than last year!

Then we headed to dinner with everyone to celebrate her birthday.

Love these people.

This could be one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. I couldn't not stop laughing. These two are the cutest.

Don't forget on Monday over on the Blended Blog we're talking our favorite things.

All in all it was a pretty great weekend! What are you guys up to? Our weather forecast is not calling for any rain, so Mini Fox will get to play in her first baseball game, yay! More on that next week!

Day In The Life

I love these kinds of posts, you get to know me, I follow a prompt, it's all a win-win. Thanks Jen and Jenna for hosting! Today is about a day in the Life. The last time I did this was over a year and a half ago...I don't think much has changed. I picked Monday...why? Because I forgot to do it in Saturday, which is the day I WAS going to do it, oops! Monday was a regular day for us.

3:12am - Alarm goes off

3:25am - Actually get out of bed, I check my phone to make sure it's the correct time (yep it's definitely 3:25am). Forget to take a picture, cause it's early. Oops! Get ready for work.

3:47am - Sneak out of bedroom, trying not to wake Mr.

3:52am - Arrive at van pool spot

3:55am - Leave for work

4:47am - Arrive at work

4:47am - 2:19pm - Do work stuff

2:26pm - Catch van home

3:34pm - Arrive back at the parking lot near home

3:45pm - Pick up kids

3:50pm - Kids want to walk home so I creepily follow them in the car (the first time we've done this), the walk is 4 minutes.

4:00pm - Do a quick 21 Day Fix workout

4:46pm - Take Baby Fox to Karate

5:05pm - Now take Mini Fox to Gymnastics

5:20pm - Early to Mini Fox class, so we sit in the car and Mini Fox gives me her list of people she wants to send pictures to for Lent

6:15pm - Mini Fox is done and we head home

6:30pm - Arrive home, just as Mr. is leaving to pick up Baby Fox from Karate. I start dinner.

6:45pm - Give Mini Fox a bath

7:05pm - Everyone is home and we're all eating dinner. Kids have pasta with butter and meatballs. Adults have left over food that I made over the weekend.

7:15pm - Do some family conversation cards while we are finishing up dinner.

7:40pm - Mini Fox helps me clean up the kitchen while Mr. gives Baby Fox a bath.

8:10pm - Bed time routine and some games, today Mr. and I play the kids while Mini Fox is the mom. She thinks it's hilarious.

8:30pm - Prayers and bedtime for Mini Fox

8:35pm - Talk about the Best part of our day with Baby Fox, Mr. and myself. Prayers and bedtime.

8:42pm - Finish up some blog post stuff

9:06pm - Mr. and I are doing the 100 pushup challenge and the 30 day ab challenge, today we need to do both.

9:25pm - I shower while Mr. gets some work done for his Thesis

9:45pm - I am done with my night time routine and we're down stairs making lunches for everyone.

10:00pm - Finally can sit down and watch the Grey's episode we missed from two weeks ago!

10:42pm - Episode is done and we head off to get ready for bed.

10:54 pm - Lights out, Mr. and I talk for a bit, the last time I look at the clock it's about 11:10 or so.

Alarm goes off at 3:12am...ugh.

That my friends is a day in my life. This Monday was different in that Mini Fox usually goes to gymnastics on Wednesdays, but we were doing a make up because she was sick the week before last. What does your day look like? How much sleep do you get?

St. Patty's Sweater

Hi Foxy Friends! Over on The Blended Blog they are sharing their favorite boots. I haven't bought any new boots in a really long time. But these ones are my favorite for wearing in the rain...note they are not really that water proof, but gets me from point A to point B. haha!

I also really like these too, spruces up any outfit for going out.

Boots (under $50!!) - Similar here (50% off)  and here

I found this when these ladies came to visit, and it turns out it's out of stock, but it's too cute not to share. I am finding that the new Target line is so freakin' soft. I love it, I was skeptical when they were going to get rid of Merona, but loving the new line. Keep it up Target!

sweater (similar) /  Jeans / Shoes (similar) / Earrings

Our friends from the north pick the best week to come. It was sunny and hot and glorious. It rained on both weekends on either side of their visit and has pretty much rained every weekend after that. So good timing on their part!

I love the beach in the winter, it's just so nice to be not too cold, and enjoy lunch at the ocean.

Or in our kids case...running and splashing around in the waves, crazy kids!

Head on over to The Blended Blog to link up your favorite boots.
