Hello Foxy Friends! Something different for you. Facebook finally got me and I fell for one of their ads and got a FABFITFUN box, this time it was the Editors Edition, oh fancy, fancy. It was fun to get things that were full size, instead of the usual trial size things. I'm going to try it for the Spring season and see how I like it. Anyway, here is my unboxing/first impression video:

Happy Wednesday Foxy Friends! It's hump day, and I have tomorrow and Friday off, so technically this is my "Friday" woo hoo! Although I'm traveling for work on Sunday, so really I'm just replacing Thursday for Sunday, did that make sense? Anyway...we're onto the last week of the New Year Styled, and I thought it was be appropriate to try something I've never done before, a monochromatic look. Although my shoes aren't...but we'll just glance over that.

So remember last year when I challenged myself to intentionally do my hair? Well I decided I thought it would be helpful to start a YouTube series on hair 101. My How To French Braid Your Own Hair has gotten over 17K views, so I figured people are wondering about the basics. My first one is going to be how to use a bobby pin, starting next week! Let me know down in the comments if you would like me to do something specific.
How to pancake a braid to get this full looking braid is going to be next in the series.
What have you done with your hair lately? I've pretty much done nothing since I ended my challenge, haha. Maybe I need to bring the challenge back one month.
Thank you to all of you who continue to make this link up a success! Keep posting those outfits, we love all of them!
Really? I have to be interviewed? Are you typing that? (Groan)...I don't know honey bear...lots. You taught me lots.
2. What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
Oh...my favorite part of our wedding day? Hmmm...I think when we actually got married and we were really married in front of the church. When they announced us and we were officially married.
3. Valentines Day is usually more
about the girl...but tell me, what is something YOU would love to
receive on Valentine's day?
What do you think?.....
4. What was the best date you and your wife ever had?
One of our first when dates when we were on the beach and fell asleep on each other.
5. If money was no object and you
could go anywhere in the world with just your spouse, where would you go
and what would you do?
I would rather take the whole family, can we do that? I would go with the whole family to, Bora Bora, or somewhere fun like that. Somewhere we could go snorkeling as a family.
Bonus Questions:
6. Valentine's Day - Hallmark Holiday or Real Holiday?
Oh...is it a realy holiday...aaaaahhhhhh....kind of a fake holiday.
7. What is your favorite romantic comedy movie?
Oh come on...this is a terrible survey. Romantic Comedy, Terminator 2.
Hello Foxy Friends, another week of New Year Nuggets with the ladies over at The Blended Blog. If you are hopping over from Whitney's blog, thanks for stopping by. This week we are all talking about working out, what motivates us, what we do, how we do it, all the nitty gritty.
Let's just get this part out of the way, I really, really hate working out. I hate everything about it, I wish I was one of those people that was naturally thin and never worked out...but I'm not, so the only thing that really motivates me to workout? Food, haha. I love food, I love everything, especially candy and chocolate, desserts, and we all know that those have a ton of calories. Bottom line, I workout for food.
What do I do? I like taking classes the most, they push me much harder than I would normally push myself. Cause you gotta keep up with the person at least 20+ years older than you, and you feel like your dying and they aren't even breaking a sweat. #workoutgoals.
I loved taking R.I.P.P.E.D To The Core, it's stands for Resistance, Interval training, Power, Plyometrics and Endurance, the D is for diet...meaning ice cream right? The owners and creators of the program is Tina and Terry and they could be the nicest people ever. They are always energetic and so motivational during class. They also offer the classes via video, you can find that here (I am not being sponsored to say this, I just really believe in this program). The classes fly by!
I also just discovered Amped Cycling...it's WAY better than a regular cycling class. I don't like in a regular cycling class how they tell you to go up this hill as a group, and they're yelling at your to ride up this invisable hill, like no I'm in a class on a bike, not on a hill, and if I was outside I would be WAY behind. The AMPED cycle is just fun, has fun music, flashing lights and the instructor is high energy and it's a butt kicking workout that's fun.
As much as I hate to say this, I do like to run outside, mostly I have to take the kids with me...so running with a stroller it is.
Now that Baby Fox can ride a bike (with training wheels, he has no motivation to want to learn how to go without training wheels), I run while he rides, which actually pushes me to go faster to keep up.
I am just happy he's on the bike and I can go back to the single Bob...cause pushing a double Bob while running is hard work! I ran this 5K with both kids, this is a picture of me, 10 minutes after finishing...Mr. was running with my aunt, while I pushed the stroller. It was nice getting all the cheers along the way for even attempting to run with the double, kept me motivated.
And when I can't get to a class or run, I go to the gym and run it out. I'm traveling here for work, and hotel gyms are small, so I make do with what I have, bang out a few miles, then I don't have to feel guilty about eating that cookie or ice cream cone with dessert.
Another awesome thing about running is that it helps to see a new city. Last week I was on work travel and went running over this gorgeous bridge. Granted my legs almost fell off coming home, but it felt great that I was able to do it, even though I felt like I might die. But I ran along this gorgeous view...
And see this sunset.
And then those times when I really need to get something done and there is no time, I turn to work out videos. Currently I'm really like the 21 Day Fix videos, but have tried P90, , Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, all of them are good, and 30-40 minutes of your time. I can do that right? Point is, get yourself moving, and do something! I always say, something is better than nothing. And it's a great lead by example for your kids. I want to show my kids that working out is part of the routine...this time Baby Fox joined in with me.
He even did some planks with me.
No matter what you do, just get yourself out there and do something! I've been trying different YouTube videos...so far I really like this one. It seems like it's going to be easy and then 20 squats in of what you find out is 100, is killer! Any YouTube or free video's you've tried that you like? Now hop on over to Abbie to see how the Mama of 2 does her workout routine. Have any tips of your own? Write a blog post about it? Go link it up at The Blended Blog, maybe help a few people out with what you do! Linking up here
Happy Friday Foxy Friends! I'm currently on my way home to my family! I'm so excited I've seen my kids for 24 hours in the last 14 days...waaahhh....so happy to be heading home!
I'm joining Desiree, Stefanie, Justine and Whitney for their new link up called A Year Of Color. Each month they want us to showcase the color of the month, however you want to represent that.
This month the color is pink...oh pink how I love thee. I took this picture during our trip to Utah last week, why? Because I had never had Pink Berry...am I the only one? I thought it was delicious, but Mr. says they have better flavors when you're not getting it from the airport one.
And guess what coat I am wearing while eating it? Yep this one, still love it and it was perfect for the Park City weather and it's on sale, run, don't walk to get it!

Linking up with The Blended Blog talking about what I've been loving around the blog world. Monday TBB also had another link up called Nuggest for the new year and can I just say that
All knocked it out of the park with their advice for nurturing your relationships. Go check them all out.
Justine over at Little Dove is having a new exchange, it's encouraging snail mail for three months, with the last one being a small Mother's Day gift, how fun is getting a hand written note. I love it, can't wait to get to know my Pen Pal! Remember those? I had one in Ohio and wrote to her until high school, then suddenly we stopped writing...I wonder what happened to her...hmmm...anyway, go sign up for this awesome exchange! Maybe we'll be paired up!
So much going on over the last few weeks. I didn't really blog while I was in Utah snowboarding with Mr...cause I was too busy staring at this:
Next week I'll have a video of me falling...haha, it's funny. Baby Fox wanted a video of us snowboarding, and I was trying to be all cool, and then fell...lol.
We got back on Friday just in time for lunch, our favorite Friday lunch place, In and Out!
And then off to take Mini Fox to ballet. Apparently it was parent participating day, of course on the one day I'm looking like a total slob and wearing a 10 year old sweatshirt. Even Baby Fox got involved, it was super cute.
Then I asked her if I could take her picture of her cute outfit, such a dancers outfit, and she's like okay, how about over here.
She does the posing all on her own, I think she has watched me do outfit posts one too many times, LOL.
Then she said...okay now over here...
She's a crack up. We gave the kids matching jammies when we got back from our trip. They loved them and wanted to put them on right away.
I told him, a little less choking Baby Fox.
These two have my heart, I'm so happy to be home and snuggling them again. Although I leave again in 10 days, wahhh!!!!
This popped up on my FB feed, what? This is so awesome, actually all of their videos are pretty good. Love it.
Did anyone read about this? They're making a 10 minute sequel to Love Actually...what? I could use another 1 hour 20 minutes, but I'll take it!
Yum yes! Love this so much. Anyone want to go with me? Blogger meet up to watch NKOTB, Boyz II Men & Paula Abdul. The fact that these ladies did a YouTube video with Joey McIntyre...holy cow! They killed it, great job ladies!
