Hi Foxy Friends! I know my posts have been few and far between. Every time I got to blog some little human needs my help with something. Then the day seems to get away from me, repeat everyday it seems. But I have been snagging all the great deals and I'm here to share them with you.
I realized very quickly that I don't have much lounge wear. I went to work 5 days a week, on most weeks, and then on the weekends we would be doing kid sports and going out with friends, so I didn't have a need for lounge wear. Well send a little quarantine my way and give me ALL the lounge wear. I might have bought 3 new pairs of joggers, a few sweaters, some shorts and two pairs of leggings. and the joggers and leggings? From the same brand and if you don't have a pair of Vuori pants...you NEED to get a pair ASAP! I have a group text going and one of the ladies bought a pair, said how awesome they were and then the 11 other ladies bought multiple pairs in multiple orders. We all bought one then got them and realized we had to have them all!

This jacket is 40% off, and super cute with the stripe down the sleeve.
These leggings are plain black and so soft!
Then the weather got hot and the joggers made sense, so of course I had to get some shorts. The shorts are $15 and SO soft I bought 4 pairs...oops!
Old Navy keeps sucking me in too. They keep having these great sales, so I keep buying more stuff...darn you Old Navy! Staying on track with my comfy clothes...

Date Night Look
Hi Foxy Friends! Made it to Wednesday, it's all down hill from here..especially since I have Friday off, woo hoo! For my birthday Mr. and I went on a date night and I wore this dress. I was hesitant to keep it, because it's so tight and typically I like to wear looser clothes, but I decided to keep it and I'm so glad that I did! I think that every girl needs a tight dress to wear on a date night whether it be with friends or your significant other. Find something that makes you feel good.

Lightweight Tunic
Happy Wednesday Foxy Friends! Today is my last day of work this week, woo hoo! I'm headed up to visit some friends! I'm so excited, although one of them got sick with the flu and can't come...boo! Next time. I love taking theses girls trips, I don't get them often, but when I do, I appreciate every single second, because I know leaving for 4 days is hard on Mr.
Okay back on topic, I finally found a tunic that covers it all when I am wearing leggings...it's been a long road, but I finally found one. For being so short, I have a super long torso.

3 Fall Outfits
Happy Wednesday Foxy Friends! Hope you are all having a great week. I have a bit of a sore throat, but am hoping that it goes away by the weekend, too much fun to be had this weekend! Getting a two for one today. I'm linking up with Anne from Anne In Residence and her monthly "currently" where she gives you the topics to talk about. This time her cohost is Dana of Something Good, this month the prompts are styling, saving, searching, picking, and making. Which works out perfectly for what I'm about to talk about.

Styling:
I've mentioned this a few times, but this month I am participating in the Common Threads Challenge, where we pick 5 things from our closet and then each day have to use one of those 5 things and pick our outfit around that.
Wondering what I picked? Wait no longer, here are the 5 things I picked.
Black and Whit Striped Skirt (Similar
) / Burgundy Tee / Black Blazer / Skinny Jeans / Booties (Similar and 50% off!) /
So we're three days into this thing and these are the three outfits I've chosen so far. Sorry, you're only going to get a full outfit one or two of the days, as the other days, I am working and don't have time to take a full picture, and I don't have a mirror that I can take a picture with. The one that I have I would be shooting into the sun, so you would see a whole lot of bathroom and not much of me. haha.
Day 1:
Simple outfit for a day doing errands and cooking.
Skirt / Tee (color: green berry) / Shoes (Similar)
Day 2:
Grey Pants (similar) / Tee / Heels (Similar)
Day 3:
Dress (similar but long sleeve version) / Cardigan (Similar) / Booties
Saving:
Hopefully money because I am remixing my closet up.
Searching:
For the perfect desk for our bedroom. It will also serve as a background to my Youtube videos. I'm thinking about getting this.
Picking:
Nothing at the moment. Pumpkins in a couple of weeks? Does that count?
Making:
I'm making a Wine Pull for a fundraiser I'm helping with on Saturday. Full details when I get my act together. Oh and if you don't know what a Wine Pull is, you label wine corks with a number, and then have a cute way to display, and people pay x amount of dollars to pull a wine cork and then they receive a wine bottle that has that number that you pulled. Many I have to get my act together...got to start this! At least I bought all of the stuff to do the project?
So what are you doing currently?

Grey Monochromatic Look
Happy Wednesday Foxy Friends! It's hump day, and I have tomorrow and Friday off, so technically this is my "Friday" woo hoo! Although I'm traveling for work on Sunday, so really I'm just replacing Thursday for Sunday, did that make sense? Anyway...we're onto the last week of the New Year Styled, and I thought it was be appropriate to try something I've never done before, a monochromatic look. Although my shoes aren't...but we'll just glance over that.

So remember last year when I challenged myself to intentionally do my hair? Well I decided I thought it would be helpful to start a YouTube series on hair 101. My How To French Braid Your Own Hair has gotten over 17K views, so I figured people are wondering about the basics. My first one is going to be how to use a bobby pin, starting next week! Let me know down in the comments if you would like me to do something specific.
How to pancake a braid to get this full looking braid is going to be next in the series.
What have you done with your hair lately? I've pretty much done nothing since I ended my challenge, haha. Maybe I need to bring the challenge back one month.
Thank you to all of you who continue to make this link up a success! Keep posting those outfits, we love all of them!

Favorite Fall Jeans
Hello Foxy Friends! Happy Hump Day! How it is November? This month The Blended Blog ladies and I are giving a month of our Fall Favorites. It can be anything, from clothes, to shoes, to things around the house. Each week I've decided to show you something different in my Fall Favorites list.
*Some of the links are affiliate links and I will either receive a small commission if you click on it or if you make a purchase from on of these links, I may receive a commission on the sale of the product. By purchasing through Foxy's Domestic Side, you're helping me to continue creating fun things for this space.
I bought these jeans at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, and oh my word, they are the most comfortable things ever! They're under $100 and you feel like you're wearing pajamas. The top is super comfortable too, I can't find the exact one but this one and this one are similar.
Now onto my favorite hair style. I usually do this when I'm on day 4 or 5 hair, click here to see how to extend the life between washings. Simple top knot, hides the fact that your hair is slight greasy, and it looks cute too. Seems like every time I do one it turns out different, which I absolutely love how it's always slightly different. This is my favorite Dry Shampoo
.
The bobby pins are using are amazing. I didn't even know there was a different between the Target/CVS kinds...yes there is a different. I use these, and it's a game changer, seriously. Click here
for the bronze bobby pins and click here for the black ones.

Style Me Spring 2015 Challenge - Outfits 10 Thru 16
Hey, Hey! I'm back with the ladies, recapping our outfits for this past week. Click here for the previous outfits. First, the winner for the Nordstroms gift card giveaway was Darcy Lynn! Congrats! Don't forget to enter my $100 giveaway going on right now! Here are outfits from day 10 through day 16.
Day 10
I love white pants. I know they're not always practical, but I just love them. They go with almost anything, and just look so classy. How do you feel about white pants?
Day 11
Striped dress, super comfy and casual, but looks totally put together. Especially when you add a statement necklace to it. I do have to say that I need to get more comfortable bright flats, these are so uncomfortable! I wore them to work and ended up having to change into my emergency shoes (you know you all have a pair at work, and if you don't you should!)
Day 12
I FINALLY ordered some camo pants, but I'm waiting for them to come in the mail, really hoping that they work out. But until then, I've substituted them for some bright pants. I have a ladder necklace on, but for whatever reason you can barely see it. I still have problems tying my chambray, perhaps I have the wrong kind? What kind of chambrays do you have, and do you find it easy to tie?
My little photo bomber!
Day 13
This might be my go to outfit for the summer, white pants (if you don't have a pair, you need to go get some!), grey tee and a bright sweater. Oh hey guess what? I found a grey slouchy tee (they don't have grey anymore, but they have teal and it's comfy too, I know this because I bought it too, haha), so excited to try it on. I haven't worn it yet with an outfit, but it's washed and on a hanger in my closet.
Day 14
A different striped dress, I thought I would change it up, Mr. wasn't so sure about this, and quite frankly either am I. I think the scarf might be a little too much. Especially with the 90° we're getting right now.
Photobomer...
Day 15
I have to admit, this outfit called for some camo pants, but I substituted my bright pants and then I thought, it's a little hot, let's just do this polka dot shirt and I love this combo. I don't think I would have ever put this together, and I'm not entirely sure why not. I added a really simple necklace I got from Loft (currently only $18).
Day 16
Mr really wasn't sure about this outfit, and I wasn't either, but now looking at the pictures, I sort of like it. It works, not my favorite at all, but nice combo to throw together.
I just love this skirt so much!
Mr.'s butt picture...LOL
Now go check out some of the other Style Bloggers and see how they wore their challenge outfits.
