Well guys, I've had a good run, but it's time that this gal goes back to work (insert sad face here). Everyday since I've been home Baby Fox asks, Are you going back to work tomorrow? And everyday I would say no not yet, but one day I will. Well that day is tomorrow. I think it might be harder this time around because Baby Fox can say please don't go to work, stay here.
Yesterday I told him that today would be my last day at home with him. He said why do you have to go to work? I said, well because I have to make money, who's going to buy all of your monster trucks and toys? And want to know what his response was? I have enough monster trucks, break my heart into a million pieces why dontcha kid?
I know we're leaving him in very capable hands, who love them like her own. In fact her son and daughter-in-law are having a baby and ask our nanny, you know you have a grandkid on the way right? Stop talking about Baby Fox and Mini Fox...lol! So if I had to leave them with someone, I'm glad that it's her.
I'll keep you posted, I might have a breakdown at some point tomorrow, or perhaps tonight when Mini Fox won't sleep and I'm up at all hours counting down till when I wake up. In case you were wondering, it's 4:30am, ugh!
I'll miss these faces

Katie at For Lauren and Lauren decided to create a link up so that we can show off our kids. A chance to show off my kids, um, yes please! So these were our family photos and since I fell off the blogging band wagon, I figure, I'll kill two birds with one stone. WIWW - Post Pregnancy
So I haven't taken an outfit post in a long, long time. I did take one around Christmas, but then never put it in a post, that outfit was this:
I love that skirt I'm wearing, it's from Nordstroms, sorry it's no longer available online, boo! The part I love most about it? The pockets. The sweater is from Macy's and of course it is not available online either. The jewelry is from Ann Taylor loft from 4 years ago. It's the first time I've ever worn the bracelet.
So here is another outfit with that same skirt:
I paired it with a shirt I got from White House Black Market forever ago. When I say forever, I mean, probably before Colton was born and I have NEVER worn it. I took the tags off to wear it to the baptism I was going to.

You know you're an Engineer when...
You take building your son's train track seriously and want to make it the best damn train track your son has ever seen.
Yep I'll just go ahead and pat myself on the back. The key, have a lot of train tracks to work with :)
Train set up #1
Train set up #2
Train set up #3 - This one he kept up and intact for a few days, that's saying a lot for a three year old.
I personally think this one is the best.

Upgrade
Big news over here. Not only are we potty training, but on Thursday Baby Fox was riding on this
And then on Saturday he was riding on this
at first he didn't like it so Saturday was pretty much summed up with this face.
But by Sunday, watch out! You couldn't stop him from riding. Good thing we're having such great weather here, so you'll know where I'll be for near future!
Wahhh, where did my baby go? All of a sudden he's potty trained and riding two wheel bikes.

I'm All Alone
Yep, Mr. left me...for a week to go on a business trip! The other time we've been apart this long, was a week or so after our honeymoon and he had to go to Japan for 2 weeks. We've basically been with each other for the past almost 9 years, with a night or two away, but nothing more. And to add to that, we have two kids now. Yikes. So far I think I'm doing pretty good, last night got both kids bathed, fed and in bed by 9 (normal bed time for us). I thought that was pretty good, pat self on back.
Just to rub it in a little more, Mr. sent me an email (cause I don't have a smart phone yet), that said "the hardships of business travel" and in the body of the email it said "poor me"
When he called, he told me to go notice the river behind the pool, thanks Mr.
Only 5 more days, I got this!

I'm Still Alive...Really
Sorry guys, I've been a bit MIA lately. I kept thinking to myself, I have to start blogging again, but then you know how it goes, one thing leads to another and all of a sudden, it's over a month later and I have all these posts in my head but nothing to show on paper. So I promise I'll get back to blogging soon!
We had a great Christmas with family and friends and our New Year was mellow and just the 4 of us. I was going to post a few pictures, but there are so many great moments I want to share, so I guess for now I'll leave you with this:
We actually took these the day before Thanksgiving. Normally I would frown on this, but seriously, go the day before Thanksgiving, no lines and you get all the time you want and more pictures then necessary (we took one set, looked at them, didn't like them and then jumped back on Santa's lap) with Santa.
Note: Mr. wanted to dress Mini Fox to go see Santa, I told him where her dress was, he dressed her and put her in the car seat before I looked at her. We sit her on Santa and as we're walking away after we've purchased our pictures, I notice...her dress is on backwards! I asked Mr. didn't you think it was weird that the tag was in the front? He said...I thought that was a little weird, but I thought the bow should go in the front. So ladies, moral of the story, tell your hubbies the tags really do go in the back and most of the time the bow goes in the back! :)
