What Up...Thursday

Linking up with  MelSheaffer, and Shay for a What's up Thursday. Okay it's supposed to be Wednesday, but I already had a post ready for Wednesday and I really liked this prompt. So here you go on Thursday.

What we're eating this week:

Mr and I are still on our slow carb diet, well him more than me. Since my allergy appointment they told me not to eat eggs, which is what I was eating for breakfast everyday, so my slow carb had to take a back seat. But pretty much for every dinner, we've been crock potting some meat and then shredding it, and adding some beans, salsa and homemade guacamole and it's pretty much heaven on earth.

What I'm reminiscing about:

I took a picture of Mini/Baby Fox everyday for the first year, I did the same thing for Baby Fox, and I just made the book this month...looking at all of the pictures...made me miss that sweet little newborn baby smell and becoming a family of four. I can't imagine our family without this sweet little girl.

What I'm loving:

My family - Loving that my parents live close so that we can do Sunday night dinners and take pictures like this.

That my Dad can share his love for Track Meets with my kids.

That I can go to the movies with my mom on a Thursday night.

That I got to hang with my sister on Saturday all day. She's the best person to hang out with.

Love being silly with her

And love that we both thought this was hilarious and took a picture of it.

Cause 9pm is just too early

What we've been up to:

Lot's of parties and swim lessons. Summer is coming...

What I'm dreading:

That the summer heat is already here, it was 93° on Tuesday...Wednesday is going to be 91° at least it cools off by the weekend.

What I'm working on:

The Spring Style Me Challenge

Tune in next week for the last 5 days

What I'm excited about:

This weekend, Baby Fox has his gym show case. We haven't been able to go to the gym, but hopefully I can still sign him up and get him into the performance.

What I'm watching/reading:

Okay not much reading has been going on. The last book I read was a couple of weeks ago, and I read it because it's a movie and I love reading the books before I watch the movie. It was a really cute book, predictable, but cute.

Watching these, still a little traumatized by last weeks episode.

Yea it's an old photo, but I just love the whole cast
Best show! You have to start watching it if you don't already.

What I'm listening to:

Currently Baby Fox really likes this song.

What I'm wearing:

See two questions above, or click here.

What I'm doing this weekend:

We're going to Baby Fox's gym show case, my usual Saturday morning hike, and swim lessons on Sunday. Other then that, maybe we'll hang out with some friends?

Hiking makes me insanely happy
What I'm looking forward to next month:

Celebrating my best friend's son turning 2. I made him a pretty killer birthday banner, no pictures yet, but when I get one, I'll make sure to show you. I have to say, I impressed myself. LOL.

What else is new:

Getting the results and doing a follow up appointment with the Allergist today. I think I'm going to sign up for the allergy shots. It's a huge time commitment for everyone, but I think it's totally worth it. I'll keep you posted.

So what's up in your world? Tell me something interesting!

Style Me Spring 2015 Challenge - Outfits 10 Thru 16

Hey, Hey! I'm back with the ladies, recapping our outfits for this past week. Click here for the previous outfits. First, the winner for the Nordstroms gift card giveaway was Darcy Lynn! Congrats! Don't forget to enter my $100 giveaway going on right now! Here are outfits from day 10 through day 16.

Day 10

I love white pants. I know they're not always practical, but I just love them. They go with almost anything, and just look so classy. How do you feel about white pants?

Day 11

Striped dress, super comfy and casual, but looks totally put together. Especially when you add a statement necklace to it. I do have to say that I need to get more comfortable bright flats, these are so uncomfortable! I wore them to work and ended up having to change into my emergency shoes (you know you all have a pair at work, and if you don't you should!)

Day 12

I FINALLY ordered some camo pants, but I'm waiting for them to come in the mail, really hoping that they work out. But until then, I've substituted them for some bright pants. I have a ladder necklace on, but for whatever reason you can barely see it. I still have problems tying my chambray, perhaps I have the wrong kind? What kind of chambrays do you have, and do you find it easy to tie?

My little photo bomber!

Day 13

This might be my go to outfit for the summer, white pants (if you don't have a pair, you need to go get some!), grey tee and a bright sweater. Oh hey guess what? I found a grey slouchy tee (they don't have grey anymore, but they have teal and it's comfy too, I know this because I bought it too, haha), so excited to try it on. I haven't worn it yet with an outfit, but it's washed and on a hanger in my closet.

Day 14

A different striped dress, I thought I would change it up, Mr. wasn't so sure about this, and quite frankly either am I. I think the scarf might be a little too much. Especially with the 90° we're getting right now.

Day 15

I have to admit, this outfit called for some camo pants, but I substituted my bright pants and then I thought, it's a little hot, let's just do this polka dot shirt and I love this combo. I don't think I would have ever put this together, and I'm not entirely sure why not. I added a really simple necklace I got from Loft (currently only  $18).

Day 16

Mr really wasn't sure about this outfit, and I wasn't either, but now looking at the pictures, I sort of like it. It works, not my favorite at all, but nice combo to throw together.

I just love this skirt so much!

Mr.'s butt picture...LOL
