Friday Favorites #3

Hi Foxy Friends! Happy Friday! Hope you all had a good week. Let's get into my favorite things this week.

Mini Fox did her thing last Sunday, so happy we are able to do this for her. She has about 6 weeks more of lessons, so she's going to be soaking it all in.

Speaking of animals, Mini Fox's class hatched baby chicks, they are adorable. They are coming up with names this week. Two of the eggs hatched about the same time, so they are calling them the "twins", so Mini Fox's name suggestion was Pop and Corn..I thought that was cute.

I just got her those rainboots too, how cute are they for under $8, sizes are going fast, so go get your kids a pair!

Baby Fox starts baseball next week and we're so excited! Mr. is the coach, which he's never done before but he told me that a lot of the other parents are stepping up to help out, so that's good. Seems like we have a really good team.

Andrea was talking about going to Trader Joe's this week, so I figured I would share my recent discoveries at TJ's. I went on Monday, and picked up these goodies.

We'll start on the top left, that frozen gingers is great, I hate grating ginger, and these come all ready to go, and frozen for whenever you need them. And they seem/taste just like the fresh stuff.

Next is a Cauliflouwer rice stir fry, I have to tell you, we don't like cauliflower rice, by itself, but they flavors they used in this stirfry is great. You get a bunch of veggies and we've been pairing it with chicken for a light dinner with no carbs.

The coconut shrimp we've never tried, but I figure with Lent here, we needed some Fish options for Friday, it looks good though.

The hash browns are a must, they are just like McDonald's hash browns! We cook them in the air fryer and they come out perfect and crunchy every time.

Can you tell I'm on a cauliflower kick, I picked up this Kung Pao Cauliflower, mostly because it just looked interesting, why not?

These pizza's are great for Mini Fox. She eats one for dinner, with some veggie side and she's a happy camper. I like to have these on hand because when Mr. and I get pizza we don't want to pay $15 for a cheese pizza, haha! So we do the frozen kind for less money and she's just as happy.

The last thing we've never tried before but it sounded good, and I thought we could eat it with the Kung Pao Cauliflower.

I just got this stand this week, and I am already in love! So many times I've tried balancing my phone on the paper towel holder or the olive oil bottle, but the if I have to charge my phone, that doesn't work out...I don't know why I waited so long to get this. It's $10...add to cart!

Have a pop sockets? No problem, it still works with it on the back of the phone. I was worried about that, but not even a problem.  This is the case I have, and Otterbox works with Popsocket so you can get custom popsocket tops from Popsocket. It's great. I actually need to order a new one as the one I have is almost 2 years old and is starting to fade around the edges.

I know another outfit post..who am I? But I've teamed up with some other ladies on IG to post outfits from #acrossthestates, it's fun to see how different parts of the country style their thing. This week we're doing Black Leggings. I went way out of my comfort zone for this one. But figured, I just got this top and really wanted to style it and thought this would be a fun going out outfit, when we could go out again.  It comes in 7 different colors and after I got this one I might have gone and about another color. It's going to be a great top for Summer. I probably would pair this outfit with this jacket or this jacket

Leggings / Shirt / Boots (similar) / Watch Band (similar) / Bracelets / Necklaces

That's all I have for now, what are you doing this weekend? It's Mr's birthday on Monday, and he's golfing on Sunday, so I think we'll deck the house out while he's gone. The kids are excited to go pick out decorations. And I finally got a good idea for a gift, so got that on order, phew!

10 Things To Love About Spring

Hi Foxy Friends! Leslie is continuing 10 on the 10th and I thought this month I would participate. This months prompt is 10 things we love about Spring.

Baseball Season: Baby Fox LOVES baseball and I love watching him grow each season.  When I was pregnant with Baby Fox and found out it was a boy, Mr. and I decided we wanted our son to be a Left Handed Relief Pitcher for MLB. Gets paid a lot, doesn't throw out their shoulder, and only comes in for an inning or two...pretty safe position to play.

These were from baseball tryouts a few weeks ago.

Getting new bathing suits! I know I don't NEED any more, but come Spring, I just need a couple more. I'm really liking the one shouldered scalloped one piece, the multi-colored one and the leopard one piece suits. I also might pick up the blue snake skin one, the zebra print one, and the ruffle ones...okay I like all of the bikini's. I want them all!

I also picked up this cute cover up, what else do I need to get for our trip to Hawaii? I'm thinking some flowy dresses for dinner?

We bought these bulbs several years ago and I didn't realize they would continue to come back each year. But here we are, I just snapped this picture last night, and the second picture is all of the green little spouts coming up. I'm so excited.

Easter! My favorite day at church is Palm Sunday. I love the tradition of reading the Passion. Unfortunately I don't think we're going go this year, but we'll watch it from home.

I love when we switch our mantel from Christmas/winter stuff to Spring things. Right now it's decorated for St. Patrick's Day, and as soon as that comes and goes, I'll switch it to Easter. The kids school had a zoom craft night where they supplied all of the things, and then put it together via zoom class. So those cute bunnies in the middle were what they made, I sort of like it in the middle of the St. Patty's Day stuff.

Easter traditions. Our Easter tradition is to leave our Easter Baskets outside for the Easter bunny. Back in the day, Baby Fox thought it was weird to have the Easter Bunny come in our house to leave stuff, so we started putting them outside the night before.

I just love watching the kids hunt for Easter Eggs. It's so fun to watch their little faces light up when they know the Easter Bunny has come. They were worried last year with COVID that he wouldn't come. Our Easter Bunny knows when you've gone to church and will only come while you are there. They were so worried he wouldn't come. But alas, he came super early before anyone got up, because he knew we would be watching it together downstairs with the backyard in full view.

Excited for some new Spring clothes I just got. I've decided I'm going to wear more skirts this Spring and Summer, I love how comfortable these skirts are, easy waistband and can dress up or down. This white leopard skirt is so cute, and comes in a ton of colors, I might have to get a couple more.

This cute heart printed skirt is so cute, and subtle so you can wear it past Valentine's day.

I love this romper, I'm currently going through a romper phase...I have some more in my cart ready to purchase.
I bought this because I wanted it...not because I needed, nor do I have anywhere to wear it, but I really wanted it...so I hit buy. Now where should I wear these to? The grocery store? haha!

Looking forward to some beach days in our future.

This one is going to be silly, but I have my yearly physical in the Spring time. My whole goal leading up to my appointment is to be the same weight as the year before. So Spring time means eating healthier and making better choices. Which is good on all front, especially with COVID lockdown. Need to loose those few extra pounds I gained before my appointment. So far so good :) I think I'll make it.

If you want to participate and join in on the fun these are the topics coming up.
