Happy Monday all! I hope you all had a great weekend. I'm writing this on Wednesday night as I am traveling to Toronto to go see The Blended Blog ladies. I'm sure we had a great time and I'll be recapping it soon! But today is about Justine and her Momma Love Fellowship she started back in March. How fun it is to receive some snail mail from a fellow Momma? The person I was originally assigned to, got busy and couldn't finish up, but the lovely Justine took it upon herself to take me on. How sweet is she? So let's see what she sent.
Justine is so sweet, right off the bat when I signed up she sent this sweet post card.
Then after my partner dropped out, she sent this, how cute are those paperclips that match the cactus on the front.
Then I sent her something and got this back immediately. Justine is on it, how she does it all, amazes me.
Then in honor of Mother's Day we got this package. Everything she sent had cute washi on it. I always wondered what people did with washi tape, now that I see how cute it can be on packages and envelopes, I think I need some in every pattern and color.
She noticed on my blog that I was really into floral stuff, so she got me this cute floral wallet and a gift card to my favorite store! How sweet is that? And you know what the best part is? This wallet can hold my monster of a phone! I'm so excited to start using it!
Thank you Justine for keeping me in the loop and being so dang thoughtful!

Olive Pants and a Moto Jacket
Hello Foxy Friends! This month the ladies over at The Blended Blog are hosting a series called Fashion Files, where we find some inspiration and then recreate that look. This week I was randomly looking around Pinterst to find some inspiration and found this outfit. I thought, I have everything for this outfit in my closet. So here she is, I image her being in France, walking across the street to get some coffee.

Here is my version, not quite as stylish, but hey it works for me...yep using that same jacket as last week. I can't get enough of it I guess. For some reason I couldn't narrow the pictures down this week, so you get all of them.
That hair on my forehead, arg. Don't you hate when that happens, so annoying.
Op, there it is again, why won't you go away?!
Hey look, my eyes, just for a brief second.
Thank you Mr. for letting me steal your sunglasses for this post. And when I say steal, I really mean commandeer because I haven't given them back. I think they look better on me anyway. If you look closely in my sunglasses you can see my tripod set up and a pool. Every time I set it up I think...please don't fall into the pool with the camera...I have fallen in the pool while doing outfit posts...man clothes weigh a lot.
Hey there are my eyes again.
I decided to do my hair in a casual ponytail thing, like the model. I'm fairly certain she spent a lot of time getting her pony to look so effortless...mine looked like a hot mess, but what are you going to do? Continue to take outfit pictures and hope for the best.
I took this one because the model isn't smiling either, but then thought, naw that isn't me.
So I took this one immediately after...much better.
Just in case you can't remember my full eyes, here there are.
In case you were wondering what I'm wearing on my face
Tartelette make up palette,
Physicians Formula blush in Blushing Berry
Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit in Kristin
fake eyelashes Ardell 120![]()
eyeliner is Urban Decay, and Stila All Day Liner,
bronzer is Mac

Tuesday Chit Chat
What makes me:
Sad....I forgot to take pictures of myself with the kids on Mother's Day. Not that we don't get a lot of pictures the other days, but I wish we would have remembered. Waaahhh... But I did get one of my mom and the kids, so that's a good second.
Happy...Mr. and my dad planned a whole Mother's Day dinner for my mom and me without us knowing. It was awesome. I mentioned to Mr. that I needed to call my parents to see what we were doing and he says, your dad and I have it handled. Say what? They got the food, the dessert and we didn't have to lift a finger, it was awesome. My mom got the German Chocolate cake above. and I got this fruit tart, yum!
Frustrated...I'm sick, again. I feel like just when I'm getting back into the swing of life, I have to travel for work...or I get sick. Can't I got two weeks without something? Plus I'm leaving for my trip on Thursday, I hope I'm better by then!
Proud...Baby Fox got his yellow belt at Karate yesterday, I could not be more proud at home much he's worked and dedicated to going to Karate. I have to thank my parents for getting him to the classes each week, as it would not be possible without them. #workingparent
Disappointed...that the donut shop that was getting all of this Instagram praise was just okay...the shop was cute and the donuts looked cool, but they were just okay.
But the one thing that we did like, was this thing...it had a poached egg inside with some sort of hollandaise sauce, it was delicious.
Accomplished...that I finally organized my bathroom...here's before, you'll have to wait for the post for the after.
Thankful...for meeting Jenny, who is one of the nicest people. So glad that we found each other on a blogger FB board and then discovered that we lived a mile apart. She named her kid the same as my kid, so we're already besties right?
Excited...for the summer, I can see us doing a lot of pool time, now that Mini Fox isn't going to drown in the pool, it's going to be so much fun splashing around!
What are you feeling these days?

$10 Target Haul: May Edition
Hello Foxy Friends! I am joining some blogger friends to bring you our $10 Target haul, where you go to Target, find fun things for $10 then share all of the goodies that you found! Pretty easy right? I'm a sucker for the $1 bins in the front, I try to break free from that, but sometimes if you catch it just right, the goodies are too good to pass up.
Of course when I walked in I beelined it towards the $1, or sometimes $3 section and sometimes $5 section, haha. Anyway I found some great goodies this time around.
Of course I had them ring this up separate (you know because I really bought some other stuff too, like house old stuff that we needed), and then lost the receipt. I thought I took a picture of it, but can't find it. Darn it. But I did end up spending a little over, I think the total was around $10.56 or something like that.
I thought I would also show you some bloopers. Real life of a blogger behind the scenes. The kids happen to be eating popcorn when I was taking these pictures. I was going to try and get a picture of them using the containers, but time ran out and it never happened. I didn't have enough popcorn to fill the containers at the time, darn. Baby Fox wanted to show everyone what should have gone into the container.
Then he just straight up photobombed me.
I thought this was too funny. This is what it really looked like. Messy house and all.

With summer right around the corner I was really tempted to buy these...but resisted because it's not quite time to fill the yard with blow up toys just yet.
The first thing I saw when we walked in was this cute white cake stand. I don't really have a cake stand and how many times are you throwing a party and think, if only I had a cake stand. Okay maybe never, but I thought I would get some good use out of it, give me some height in displays, so that quickly went into my cart. I new exactly what I wanted to do with it, put my new fake succulents on it that I got from Hobby Lobby...I just love the way it looks.
Since I just started making homemade popcorn again, I thought that these popcorn containers were super cute. I might even personalize them when I find time to get my new Cricut out. The Flamingo bottle was just cute. I'm really hoping the Mini Fox at some point wants a flamingo party...then I'll be all set and ready to go. Until then it will just have to look cute somewhere in the house, location TBD.

Friday Favorites #116
In case you missed it this week, this is what has been happening on the blog this week.
Sunday: Kids Behind the Blog
Monday: My Favorite Beauty/Make-Up Products
Tuesday: Memory Lane - High School Years
Wednesday: 10 Summer Essentials
I finally finished another video. Took me forever to get this done, due to time. I was waking up a little early everyday and working on it for 10 minutes each morning...talk about taking forever! Anyway, it's done, and here it is.
Last weekend my uncle invited us to the Symphonic Jazz Orchastra, which helps to raise money to bring Jazz to schools in LA county out here in California. They are currently teaching over 3,000 students, how amazing is that? This was a concert to raise money and the were fantastic!
Then randomly lats night we got to go on another date night! What? Two in one week? That NEVER happens, I mean this is the first time it's happened. Anyway, a friend got asked to sing with a band and she asked us to go. We rounded up the troops took them to my parents and were on our way 45 minutes later.
She did some back up singing for the band after her too...amazing I tell ya!
Her groupies for life. (The other guy is her hubby, he was happy to have other people there that he knew so he wasn't the creepy guy sitting at the bar by himself, haha)
As always linking up with The Blended Blog for Friday Loves, where we share other bloggers and what they're up to. We are all here to support each other, so share some blogger love!
Did you see Carrie and Whitney's announcement? They are starting a linking up called A Beautiful Mélange which will be live every Monday and is a space for you to link-up whatever is sparking your imagination lately.
Sharing Danielle's "LOVE" Chevron canvas. I love how she showed how to get the chevron's perfect, becasue we all know the OCD in all of us wants it perfect.
I love Shea's idea aimed at fostering more creativity, style, and contentment in your life in which she's created a calendar to help you achieve this. This was one of the prompts for week 2 - which was to ignore the to-do list and do something to feed the soul. Go check out her post and see what the prompts are.

I discovered this link up last month, and am so excited to join in on the fun this month with Kristin from Taz and Belly for her Little Letters series. How fun is this? Okay let's get started.
Dear Mini Fox - All the whining has got to stop, you are a big girl. When did you ever get your way by crying and whining, never, so let's use big girl words and move on. (that sounded harsh, but it's driving me nuts!)
Dear L.A. Drivers - You are the worst. Get a clue, if people are passing you on the left AND right side, means you are in the wrong lane, move to the right.
Dear Onion Rings - I love you and all of your bread-y goodness. (This has no reason to be in here other than I love Onion Rings, the last time I had them was beginning of April, I don't discriminate, although some taste better than others, but chances are if they have them on the menu I am ordering them)
Dear So. Cal. Weather - Since when do you dip into the 40's in May?
Dear New Light Up Marquee - I love you so much, but am feeling slightly restricted that most letters/spaces I can use in one line is 8. You are like twitter and really making me think to get my point across. Challenge Accepted.
Dear Beach Body 3 Day Cleanse - You are way better than the 3 Day cleanse from Costco, I don't hate you, but I don't love you either.
Dear Guy at Work - You are at work, you are not going hunting, wear clothes that say I'm going to work today, not Im going to hunt for dinner. (Seriously every single day he wears camo puffy pants and a hunting type vest, I wish I was kidding. Yesterday he wore cargo pants 2 or three sizes too big, that people wear that are doing the JMT trails and won't be showering for weeks, you know what I'm talking about)
Dear TBB Ladies - I am beyond excited to see and hug you next week! But i still don't know what I'm going to wear and that gives me anxiety which makes me procrastinate thinking about it. I know I'll be trying to pack the night before and asking my 3 and 6 year old for fashion advice. I apologize in advance for whatever they pick out for me.
This really hit home for me, I wrote about being adopted last month and he pretty much is saying everything that I said/think. I think that my biological mother did the most selfless thing she could do, carry me to term and then give me up for a better life. Thank you Ryan for posting this and letting people see adoption as a good thing. Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mother's out there.
As always, some videos around the internet that I'm loving. Did you see this? They are going to remake a bunch of old classics. I'm torn on whether or not I like this, but I did love Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, so I'm certain that they will do the others well too. But Reese Witherspoon as Tinker Bell? Perfection! And some other characters getting their own movie, like the price from Cinderella, interesting, can't wait!
I saw this on FB yesterday, looks like it would be a fun appetizer, but is the hassle of how much work it is worth it? I feel like trying to get the pizza dough in each cube would be hard, how does it not rip? Hmm...I sort of want to try it, but maybe just put cheese in each one, hehe.
Happy weekending! Currently we have no plans and I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts!
