Small Business Friday Favorites

Hi Foxy Friends! I thought that Holiday shopping is just around the corner and I thought I would share some of my favorite small, Mama run, shops that I support, and that I hope you will find something you like and will support too! In no particular order, because I love them all equally.

Shop #1

Re-Wine Bottle Works is a two sister, who are good friends of mine, that takes those bottle of wines you use, cuts off the top and makes them into candles. I had a 100 year anniversary wine bottle from my college from 10 years ago. I knew that one day I would find something to do with it. She's currently making it into a candle now, and she has so many scents to choose from! Here is her Etsy and here is her FB page.

Shop#2

My friend, Jackie and her husband, run a jewelry company called BEXO. She has the cutest stuff and is constantly making new stuff. I know for a fact that her and her husband make every piece of jewelry that they sell. She's been featured in OC fashion week and so much more. I have several of her pieces and they never tarnish, even just sitting in a drawer, like mine do. I am obsessed with these earrings, wear them a couple of times a week. She does a great job keeping up with IG, so go check her out and give her a follow!

This is the necklace I want next. They were sold out of the one I wanted, she has this necklace with a little charm hanging from it, I'm waiting for it to come back in stock so I can snag it up!

Shop#3

My friend from Junior High recently started selling Color Street, and I'm obsessed. I had another friend that sold it a couple of years ago, but she stopped doing it, so I didn't have a "dealer", but then my friend, Joanne, started selling it and Color Street has really stepped up their game! They now have overlays and so many more fun designs. Constantly coming out with new stuff. Go join Joanne's Facebook group  she is constantly doing fun giveaways and games for you to participate in. She has a montly drawing for just doing a nailfie in her group and for it being your birthday month.

Look how cute these holiday nails are?

Clearly I need to step up my nailfie game.

Shop#4

Last but certainly not least are my bloggy besties. They've delved into the world of fashion and are taking it by storm! They have a shop in both Canada, Belong Lifestyle and Belong Lifestyle USA. They have some very unique pieces that I love! Like this t-shirt. I own this one and constantly get compliments when I wear it.

Belong Lifestyle USA is just opening up this past week or so, so give her some time to get the products on the website.

Go follow their FB for great ideas on how to style your clothing.

Belong Lifestyle Canada

Belong Lifestyle USA

I just love the message these ladies are trying to get out here. Love the skin that you're in and be you. Here is a little snippet from their website:

Be seen: We continually curate a size inclusive collection of apparel pieces to compliment your body and style today.

Be heard: Participate in our community book club, consignment collection, events and email insiders list. Your voice matters.

Be you: At Belong Lifestyle, we believe that every woman should feel comfortable, confident, current and creative in her own skin.

They also have some consignment, which is also so fun!

Shop#5

My friend, Becky, sells Senegence. Which some of you may know as Lipsense. Join her facebook group and she gives you a bunch of tips and tricks and also has some good sales and deals. So much so, you just want to snag up all of it, which in my case I do! I haven't delved into their skin care line yet, but all in due time. Trying to use up what I have, then I might make the switch. I pretty much just wear their eyeshadow and lipsense only. It has the staying power and I just love it. If you know what you want, you can just order from her site.

My looks is:

Eyes: Bella Cream, Americano, French Roast, Bella Shimmer

Lips: Dusty Rose (my new favorite everyday color)

Cheeks: Plum Berry

Also, incase you wanted to know the other stuff I'm wearing:

Foundation (color is 350)
Concealer for blemishes (color is Caramel)
Concealer for Brightening (color is Biscuit)
Eyelashes (magnetic!)
Eyeliner (color: Perversion)

Notice the small bit of earring you can see? It's from BEXO!

Shop#6

See the sweater in the above picture? It is from a small boutique local to me called Sweetly Striped. She does a live on her FB page every Tuesday and Thursday with all of her new products. She gives first dibs to her FB group before putting it on her website for everyone else. I'm obsessed with the grey jacket...but I need another jacket like a hole in my head. Who are we kidding, I'll probably break down and buy it anyway...here is a link to the exact sweater I am wearing.

I love all of these Mama's and their shops, so go take a look at their products and support a Mama and her growing business.

Happy Friday! Taking next week off which I'm so excited about!

Top 5 Favorite Gifts I've Bought For My Kids

Hi Foxy Friends! Today I'm sharing some fun things I've bought for the kids recently. Some will be Christmas Gifts and others

Favorite #1

Did you know that Target has sock Advent Calendars? Yep, your kids or yourself can open a different pair of socks each day. Not sure about your kids, but my kids LOVE socks, so this is going to blow their mind when they open them!

I bought this one for Baby Fox

And this one for Mini Fox

Favorite #2

We're getting this for my son for his birthday (which is on Christmas Day). This is on the cheaper side and has pretty good reviews, of course you can always go more expensive, but I figure since they are using it for a go-cart, it doesn't need to be top of the line? At least that is my reasoning. Oh and it comes in 31 different styles and colors!

But wait, it gets better, if you're a little worried about them balancing and hurting themselves. You can convert the Hoverboard into a go-cart! What little kid doesn't want a go-cart?! It comes in 5 colors too!

Favorite #3

My daughter is OBSESSED with making her dolls both her 18" and barbie type dolls clothes. She typically uses tape to make her dresses and shirts. I figured that it's time for her to get her first easy to use sewing machine. At under $40 and pretty good reviews she is going to LOVE this!

Favorite #4

OH my gosh, did anyone else knew these LOL Mini Brands existed?!  Mini Fox is OBSESSED with finding things that we have that are miniature for her dolls/Barbie dolls. When I found out these were a thing, I went and bought 6 of them for stocking stuffers. Although I'm fairly certain not all 6 will fit in her stocking. She is going to FLIP when she sees that her Barbie can use the same ketchup that she uses. I guess there are 70 different mini brands that you can find within them. So I got her 30, hopefully we don't get too many repeats!
So of course I then had to go buy her this to go with her mini brands stuff.

Favorite #5

Baby Fox is super into coding and science and this combines the two things...hey that's a win! It has great reviews and seems like everyone really likes it.

Good White Elephant Gifts From Amazon For Everyone

Hello Foxy Friends! This year we have decided as a family that we're going to do a White Elephant, but instead of the traditional White Elephant, we're going to do a good white elephant, were we give good gifts, ones that we want to steal. Beacause in all honesty, what makes the game fun is when people start stealing things from each other. So here are some ideas I found on Amazon I found that would make good gifts for mixed company.

For Woman

This blanket scarf is so pretty.

This necklace is really pretty, I have one very similar and wear it all the time.

I love getting people cheese boards, because it's not something you necessarily buy on your own.

I have similar tumblers and they are awesome and keep my wine cool. Plus it comes in so many colors, bound to be something for someone!

For Men

For something under $30 this Whiskey set is pretty awesome.

Who doesn't need a good shaving kit? Also under $30

This is really cool, I think it would be great for a man or woman really.

For Anyone

This bluetooth speaker has almost 45,000 4.5 star reviews, and is under $25, a winner for sure.

Who doesn't need a phone charger? It has 4.5 stars and is only $10.

I could go for a good nail kit...I had one and then piece by piece it gotten

Gag Gifts

I mean this is pretty funny.

haha, this is too strange not to add to the list.

This takes fanny packs to another level.

I like burritos, I can turn myself into a burrito with this blanket...it also comes in pizza or waffle.

Not sure if you're bathroom people, but this is hilarious...gross but hilarious.

Another potty thing, but sometimes you just need something to do...this is so weird.

There you have it, a ton of ideas for your next White Elephant gift exchange. Now the question is, what should I get, I want to go for something that isn't a gag gig. What would you want to grab at a white elephant?

15 Gift Guides for Everyone On Your List

Hi Foxy Friends! I can't believe that the Holidays are here! I know it's so overwhelming to have to buy all the gifts for everyone! I thought it would be helpful to put together a huge gift guide for everyone on your list! I know I like a one stop shop!

Kids

For the kids in your life who has EVERYTHING, here are some non toy ideas.

I know my daughter would love any one of the gifts that Terryn has on her gift guide.

The ultimate guide for the 1-3 year olds in your life. I know that with my kids being a bit older, I've sort of lost touch of what 1-3 year olds want now and days.

Got a small creative kid? This is the list for you.

This is a great list for great education toys for the little ones in your life, any parent would love to get any of these gifts.

Teens

I'm still not quite sure what a VSCO girl is, but if you have one in your life and you're like me and have no idea what to get her, here's the list for you.

Woman

Not sure what to get the lady in your life? Here is a ton of great options!

This list is for all of the ladies in your life that helps keep you afloat in this thing called motherhood, and the best part is everything is under $25!

Know nothing about yoga like me? Then this is the gift guide you need for all of those Yogi's (is that even a word?) in your life.

Here is a gift guide for the woman in your life that take a more natural route, I know several of my friends would love anything on this list!

Men

I always find the guys in my life are so hard to buy for, Rebecca has come up with some great ideas.

Everyone

With all of the parties and things you're attending it's always nice to show up with a little hostess gift. I think it's a kind gesture to show up with something in your hands.

I always find it hard to find stocking stuffers, Shari's list is just what you need!

Stacey came up with hilarious white elephant gifts for your next party that will have everyone laughing.

Amber came  up with a really awesome list of gifts to give people with allergies. So thoughtful, as sometimes it is hard to buy for people allergic to everything!

10 Christmas Gifts For Everyone

Hi Foxy Friends! I'm linking up with The Blended Blog for our Monday Themed posts. Today we're talking about Christmas lists. So I guess we'll just get right in to it.

*Some of the links are affiliate links and I will  either receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you click on it or if you make a purchase from one of these links, I may also receive a commission on the sale of the product. Click here for my disclosure page.

| ONE | Kindle

I really love real books, I like the way they smell, the way they feel in my hand, unfortunately, just like the VCR, books are going to be a thing of the past. I do admit though, it's nice that you can have all your books located in one spot...and I can carry it around everywhere I go and instead of breaking out my phone, I can break out my Kindle and at any time.

| TWO | Tile Mate

I can't tell you how much I need this in my life. Especially for my phone, I can't seem to keep track of that thing! I hear good things about the Tile Mate.

| THREE | Popcorn

I love popcorn, I mean love making it! See video here how I make it. Anyway, my aunt got this for me for Christmas and I can tell you hands down the best popcorn EVER! It pops way better and tastes amazing. If you have a popcorn lover in your life, this is a MUST get.

| FOUR | Phone Holder

If you're like me and have an older car, I don't have the convenience of a screen in my car to see directions, etc. I didn't love how some of the ones attach to your air vent, I'm thinking, I need all that cool air...so I found this, it goes in your CD player. Remember those? Yeah you do, because you have a car that doesn't have a screen in it. Anyway, this goes into your CD player, attaches perfect, and gives quick at a glance that I need when trying to navigate somewhere.

| FIVE | Star Night Light

My kids LOVE this, it has four LED lights, you can have on color on or mulitple colors on, it also can blink and rotate if you want. Currently Baby Fox likes blue solid, and Mini Fox likes all color, rotating and blinking and has a timer for up to 99 minutes. My kids currently share nights with this, and so far they both love it and enjoy when it's their time with the light.

| SIX |  Wireless Headphones

I got these a while ago, and so far so good. I have trouble keeping headphones in my ears, but these stay put and for the price, you can't beat it. Easy to set up and use and the battery life lasts forever! Consider it an awesome stocking stuffer. Actually this is currently the ONLY thing I have on Mr.'s Christmas presents...I need some more ideas. So hopefully this link up will produce something else I can get him!

| SEVEN | Colored Pencils

I never really gave much thought to colored pencils, but we bought these for the kids and man can I tell you it's a huge difference. You know when you use Crayola crayons and then you try to use some off brand and it just doesn't feel "right"? Well these, feel right and they color amazing. So if you are getting someone in your life an adult coloring book, or you have a budding artist, get these!

| EIGHT | Portable Speaker

Again big bang for your buck. This little speaker is a great portable speaker. It's loud, and fairly good sound quality for under $30, and if you lose it or it gets damaged your not totally made/bummed.

| NINE | LCD Writing Board

I know Mini Fox is obsessed with drawing and we go through a lot of paper! When I saw a friend have something similar to this, I knew I had to get it for her for Christmas. Of course I'm going to let one of the grandparents get it for her, so they can get the credit, but how cool is this? You draw all you want, push a button and it's gone and a new screen appears for your drawing pleasure.

Of course you have to get the carrying case too, right?

This one is slightly cheaper, doesn't come with all the stencils, but gets the job done.

| TEN | Left Center Right Dice Game

This is another great stocking stuffer. If you haven't played this game, it's the easiest game in the world. It was the first game my daughter played at 2.5, and then we played again at a cousin party with adults and everyone got into it. Super simple and easy to play!

So what is on your Christmas list? Anything interesting I need to know about? Head on over to The Blended Blog and link up your Christmas list!
