That Time I Got Up on a Wall for an Outfit Post in front of my Family

Talk about embarrassing, I wanted to just take a few pictures before the night got going, but Mr. said, get up on that wall, the pictures will be amazing. If you can't tell not only my lipstick was bright red but so was my face.

I thought I color corrected this picture, but I guess not. Oh well. You get the idea. This is what I wore to the wedding on Saturday. Want to know the best part? I didn't even have a dress before Thursday to wear to the wedding. But I went shopping with my mom and found this dress in the sale section of Ann Taylor and then there was an additional 60% off, can you say score?!

Those baby hairs are really annoying, but I guess I should be thankful that my hair is growing back after losing a LOT of it after Mini Fox came.

In case you wanted to see Mr. dressed up.  Isn't he the cutest?

That's right, I was standing on that wall behind us

In other happenings, a friend down the street just had a baby and I thought I would make some homemade mac and cheese, cause who doesn't love homemade mac and cheese. The recipe is super easy, and I put them in these square foil dishes. It came in a three pack and I used two of them, so they could either put one in the freezer for later, or just so they could have fresher mac and cheese tomorrow. So simple to do, and they were so thankful.

Don't you just love newborn sleepiness?

He slept the whole time I was there...he's so cute and I think he's going to be a great pianist because his fingers are so long! I think he was born to be one!

My Top 10

Last night I went to MNO out Out Back, random I know. A friend had recently moved near one and a few of us had mentioned we had never been, so we decided next MNO was going to be there! I had a post planned for today, what we made for Mr. for Father's Day, but I still needed to load the pictures I took, and well I did this instead. So you'll have to wait for later in the week, I know you're all holding your breath.

I was reading Courtney's blog this morning and I wasn't going to post, but decided, what the heck, I'll do a top 10 too.

1. Thanksgiving - I love me some Thanksgiving especially when you randomly decide to make a Thanksgiving dinner a month early and celebrate it with friends. (I tried to do another Thanksgiving a few weeks ago, turns out, it's SUPER hard to find a turkey in the middle of summer. Even the frozen kind, go figure)

Man I want to eat this right now!
2. Yummy food I can actually eat, since I am allergic to so much, it's hard to find yummy treats. But when I do find them, you better believe I stock up like it's going out of business. Like these yummy things!
drugstore.com has the best deal on them, trust me I've searched everywhere for them

3.  Family Days, while I love spending time with my siblings and parents I just love when it's the 4 of us having fun and doing whatever whenever like last Friday, perfection.

4. The calmness of morning just before the sun comes up, when it's crisp outside and the grass still has dew on it and the birds are just starting to wake up. Everything is calm, everything is perfect for those few precious moments before everyone/everything starts waking up.

5.  Reading a book so fast just to get to the end, only to re-read it immediate because you want to read it slower and really enjoy it.

6.  Hanging with my cousins and their kids, nothing is better than showing them what it was like when I was growing up.

7.  The smell after it rains, everything smells clean and new. It's like God gives us a fresh new start with each rain (coming from someone who only gets rain a handful of times a year)

8.  Watching Baby Fox with Mini Fox, nothing is more precious, sweet or endearing. The love they have for each other is crazy, and even though she can't talk, I know she just idolizes her big brother. Knowing that they have each other, comforts me.

9.  I hate working out, but the feeling you get after a hard workout especially when several times  you wanted to stop but kept going, that feeling of accomplishment and feeling good about yourself.

10.  Spending time with Mr. Nothing beats it. We can talk about nothing and everything at the same time. We have comfortable silences and can have fun anywhere, anytime. I love that about us.

Enjoying the Little Things

You know what, I didn't take one outfit post this week...I had some really cute outfits on too, but by the time I remembered I needed one, it would either be dark outside or I was already in PJ's, oops.

Looking through all of my pictures I decided to stop and enjoy the little things in life. Me after my hard workout in a cycle class, my legs are like jelly here...such a great workout! And the kids were at home with Mr. and I got to go to the gym by myself, glorious!

If you're friends with me on Instagram, sorry you already saw this. Baby Fox leaned down to pick something up off the ground I said, Baby Fox, why do you have to pick up everything off of the ground, when he turns around and gives me this..."but Mommy, it's a pretty flower for you"

A little later, picking more flowers for me. He was very particular what he chose, there were some that were small and slightly dying that he passed right over and went to the nice ones.

He then said, "oh no, we left the other one back there, we have to go back" I told him that I had it and showed him, he said, add this to it.

The joy of a Cakepop from Starbucks

Since getting my iPhone, I've been sharing photos with my parents back and forth, I send them pictures like this:

and they send back pictures like this:

Love them!
I can't tell you how much I love this girl, her pigtails and tutu and kissing herself in the mirror, perfection. She stayed here for at least 5 minutes, it was hilarious.

What are the small things that you've been loving lately?

Things That I Love

Love this girl and her crazy bed head! And yes it is in fact necessary to have that many pacifiers in her crib, you can't even see how many of them she's already thrown out of her crib and are sitting on the ground :)

He thinks he's a monkey, love his imagination

Love that every time we set her lose and this shopping cart is out, she goes straight for it, I think we have a shopper on our hands! YES!

Love that he loves cooking with me, every time I cook something he wants to come help me. (although it might look like this picture and the above picture was taken on the same day, it was not, he just happens to be wearing the same outfit)

See there she is again with her cart, and while we're at it, how many toys do these kids have?!

Love that he loves helping Mommy even when it's to unload the dishwasher, and he asked, please let this last forever!

Love my friends, they are awesome, I meet these ladies when the kids were about 3 months old and I don't know what I would do without them! Here are the kids at 3 months old

And now three years later, still all best friends, plus each one of them now has a sibling

Love how Mr. got dressed and then realized Baby Fox was wearing a striped shirt, so he went and changed so that both he and Baby Fox were wearing Stripey shirts

Love that Mini Fox has Mr. wrapped around her little finger and he would do anything for her, and she is already such a Daddy's girl. Of course her first word was Dada.

Dancing with his girl
Love that he likes to jump into my pictures

Love that everytime I see this picture it makes me laugh

Baby Fox and what he thought of carrots
So what are the little things that you love? I'd love to hear about them!
