That Time I Got Up on a Wall for an Outfit Post in front of my Family

Talk about embarrassing, I wanted to just take a few pictures before the night got going, but Mr. said, get up on that wall, the pictures will be amazing. If you can't tell not only my lipstick was bright red but so was my face.

I thought I color corrected this picture, but I guess not. Oh well. You get the idea. This is what I wore to the wedding on Saturday. Want to know the best part? I didn't even have a dress before Thursday to wear to the wedding. But I went shopping with my mom and found this dress in the sale section of Ann Taylor and then there was an additional 60% off, can you say score?!

Those baby hairs are really annoying, but I guess I should be thankful that my hair is growing back after losing a LOT of it after Mini Fox came.

In case you wanted to see Mr. dressed up.  Isn't he the cutest?

That's right, I was standing on that wall behind us

In other happenings, a friend down the street just had a baby and I thought I would make some homemade mac and cheese, cause who doesn't love homemade mac and cheese. The recipe is super easy, and I put them in these square foil dishes. It came in a three pack and I used two of them, so they could either put one in the freezer for later, or just so they could have fresher mac and cheese tomorrow. So simple to do, and they were so thankful.

Don't you just love newborn sleepiness?

He slept the whole time I was there...he's so cute and I think he's going to be a great pianist because his fingers are so long! I think he was born to be one!

  1. Love that dress! And yes to annoying baby hairs, I definitely feel ya on that, and there's been a lot of hat days this summer. But also yes to being sooooo thankful my hair's actually growing back. I thought I was gonna have to start investing in wigs for a lil bit there.

Stopping by from the link up!

  8. woo hoo!!! You look fabulous! Even on a wall in front of everybody =) It's all in the name of blog posts! I'm mostly a shy person but it is funny how better I am about that when it is in the name of getting pictures for a blog post.
