5 Must Have Online Clothing Purchases

Hi Foxy Friends! This week over on the Blended Blog we're talking online shopping. On Monday I gave you 5 tips for online shopping, and today I'm sharing 5 must have purchases (these are all things that I have bought myself and use).

*Some of the links are affiliate links and I will  either receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you click on it or if you make a purchase from one of these links, I may also receive a commission on the sale of the product. Click here for my disclosure page.

First up is this amazing dress from Amazon, I decided to take a chance and boy was I glad I did. So much so that two friends have already bought it for upcoming vacations.

It's flowy and has a cute slit up the side.

Love the way it looks when you walk. Also, how do people get great walking shots, man this took me so many to get this!

Don't worry there is a short pencil like skirt underneath, so you're not in any danger of flashing the world if a strong wind comes.

Oh and did I mention how cut the back is?

Cuteness all around. For sizing, I got a 4/6 size.

Onto other things I have bought. I might have become obsessed with buying Amazon clothes...so I got these jeans. Let me tell you how freakin' soft they are, and the have vanity sizing, which doesn't everyone love that? I went down 2 full sizes and they fit great! (my goal this weekend was to take pictures of all these things, but life happened and I didn't, but I got the one above, so that's good right?) Eventually it will all make it onto the blog.

Since we are going on two pool/beach vacations, several coverups are in order right? This one is the cutest with the pom poms. Mr. said it's his most favorite purchase I have gotten so far. Plus it's under $20, so get two!

Another beach coverup I got was this one. When it first came it the mail I thought, holy cow this things is HUGE! But then realized you need to cinch at the waist and it gives you a cute figure with some "bat" wings, endearing bat wings of course. And you have the cutest cover up. It comes in 3 colors and is $21, still good deal.

Last but not least, is not from Amazon, but from Nordstrom, this t-shirt is oh so soft and will keep me looking cute through the summer. I get so much wear from my long sleeved one, I had to get a short sleeved one too.

So those are the the clothes I've been buying lately. Oh and I did buy this romper in hopes that I could wear it as a beach cover up. Be warned, that the seller doesn't necessarily do returns, still waiting to hear back, and the leg holes are the size of my arm. Seriously, I don't have abnormally large legs and these were skin tight...yikes! Now head on over to Katie's blog, or TBB to link up your online finds!

Merry and Bright: Outfits That Makes Me Happy

Hi Foxy Friends! It's another Wednesday which means The Blended Blog Fashion prompt. We decided from here forward we're going to try and keep the prompts broad so that you can interrupt how you want and think outside the box if you want. We've also tried to match our Monday prompts to coordinate with the Wednesday prompts #organized. Head on over to Lisa's blog who is the host of todays prompt.

Okay so today's prompt is share an outfit that makes you happy.

This shirt makes me ridiculously happy. I bought it when I went to Seattle last year, it was a part of my haul here, anyway, it was such a unique piece and I had nothing like it and it brings back fun memories of shopping and hanging out with friends. Which I vlogged about, so click here to see our Seattle adventures.

Something else that makes me happy, is making shirts with my Cricut. I made this one for all the girls in the Seattle trip.  Those white sneakers make me happy too.

Summer to Fall Transition Outfit

Hi Foxy Friends! What? 3 days in a row? Who am I? Today The Blended Blog is back at it with our regularily scheduled themed Wednesday posts. You don't have to follow the prompts, but if you're running out of ideas for outfits, I find that having a promt helps get my creative juices flowing. I got this dress, because I needed to get to free shipping. I don't like to pay for shipping, so if I can add a few more items to get free shipping, I am all in. I know girl math.

Anyway, I've been wearing this dress non stop since I got it a few weeks ago. For you short girls, this maxi is for you! I'm 5'3", and this maxi is pretty much perfection. I think if you were up to 5'5" it would be good, anything above that, sorry ladies this isn't for you. But if you are looking for a maxi that you don't have to alter or wear incredibly high heels, this dress is for you! You can't see but I'm wearing flat sandals.

A great way to transition maxi dress for Fall a simple jean jacket. You better believe I'll be adding this jacket come Fall. Currently the temp for Saturday is suppose to be 91°F...yikes!

Summer Floral

Hi Foxy Friends! It's another week of TBB Free Style. Where we wear what we want. Don't worry we're working on some awesome stuff come Fall. This is a dress is from Shein, and I haven't completely decided if I like it. I feel like it's more of a tropical vacation dress because it's quite thin. So let's save it for when I get to Hawaii next year...anyone want to come with us? We're going Summer of 2019.

The bracelet on my wrist is actually my fit bit. Tory Burch teamed up with Fitbit to create some cool bracelets so it doesn't look like you're wearing a Fitbit. I like it.

Make Up: Foundation / Eyeshadow / Eyeshadow (used for transition color) / Eyelashes / Blush / Lipstick (in Blossom) / Eyeliner / Eyeliner for cat eye  / translucent powder

What are you wearing for your tropical vacation?

7 Dresses To Wear This Summer

Hi Foxy Friends! Today I'm linking up with The Blended Blog and today is a different topic then what I had planned for. Oops! But I guess it could work, but it's a little more casual than I would normally dress for Graudation. I think dress option 1 and 2 would definitely work thought. With that behind me, I'm going to show you all of the dresses I have bought recently to hopefully get me through the summer! Granted I haven't actually received them, but it's what I think I'm going to wear? You'll probably see them on the blog eventually. Anyway, the first dress is actually from Shein, and while Shein is hit or miss for me, this one was a total hit and at $15, can't beat it!

Dress / Sandals (similar)

The material is super soft and it has pockets! Win in my book. I see myself wearing this out to dinner with my family, something to keep my legs warm, add a light sweater and I'm good to go.

Some of the other dress that I've bought..I might have bought them in the last few days, Ooops! Also, Old Navy is having an extra 30%-40% off of everything, but it ends today (use code Style), Wednesday, so hop on it and get yourself some good deals. I got those swing dresses for under $13. Deal and a half.

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6

Here are some shoe choices that can go with any of the dresses.

And here is some jewelry that would look great with any of the dress choices. Mix and match and you will look super put together!

The Perfect Maxi Dress Combo + How To Tease Your Hair

Happy Hump Day Foxy Friends! It's the second week of The Blended Blog's Spring Fever. I know some of you are still in the thick of cold weather, but we can dream about Spring right?

*Some of the links are affiliate links and I will  either receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you click on it or if you make a purchase from one of these links, I may also receive a commission on the sale of the product. By purchasing through Foxy's Domestic Side, you're helping me to continue creating fun things for this space.
I thought this week I would show you one of my favorite maxi dresses. I actually wore it for our family photos a few years ago, but it's definitely something that can be styled in so many ways. What's more Spring than a white jean jacket?

Dress (Similar) // Jacket (Similar) // Shoes (Similar)

For my hair I decided to go with something super easy, get it's out of my face and looks like a tried just a little bit.

As always, my silly picture...surprisingly this didn't take long to do. Can I tell you how hard it is to get a jumping show when you are using a self timer? I think I almost have the timing down...

We're in the second week of my Hair 101 series, and today I thought I would talk about how to tease your hair. Something that sounds easy, but it's how I get a lot of volume for some of my more complicated hair styles. This hair style I pretty much do on the daily. It's easy, quick and makes you look way more put together then I actually am.

If you have any suggestions on what you would like to see, let me know in the comments down below. I'm working on trying to get Mr. do a hair tutorial on Mini Fox...so far no luck!

Create 28 Maxi Dress and Hair Challenge Week 23

Last week was the last week for our Style Perspectives, in case you missed it you can see the last 16 weeks here. Don't worry The Blended Blog ladies have something else in store for you! We are doing a Create 28, created by our very own Whitney and Carrie.

I didn't have time to do all of the looks, but my day was day 5, how to dress for a Warm Weather Wedding. I even gave you several options for great summer wedding dresses and how I would style one of them.  Here's a preview of what I'm wearing to a wedding I'm going to at the end of this month:

I also decided to style a Maxi Dress, I just love maxi dresses in the summer, super easy to wear, you can dress them up or down and they just make you feel a little more put together.

I'm loving that I can take the dress I wore for our family pictures and dress it down by simply adding a vest.

For the hair, I don't know about you, but I know I like having my hair up. There are a bunch of up ponytails that I want to try out come summer. But I really like this one. Pretty easy to do, and it looks fancy right?

Up close, I wish I could have changed the bottom topsy tail, next time.

Now onto the hair challenge, week 23 yikes! Where did the time go? I decided to change up my top knot and add a tiny French braid to it. I think it turned out pretty cute.

Saturday I decided to do the triple French Braid again. It's hard to see it in the pictures, but it did turn out better than the first I think.

Sunday to go home I just needed my hair out of my face, so I turned to my favorite side braid, super easy to do and quick but makes it look like I tried.

Go over to The Blended Blog to check out a recap of our last Style Perspectives: A Summer dress by the lovely Andrea from Living On Cloud Nine. I think everyone smashed it out of the park.

Now for next weeks prompts for Create 28. I hope you decide to style one of these next week and link up with us next Wednesday!

Don't forget to enter my $200 giveaway to Target! Woo hoo!
