Hi Foxy Friends! What? Another outfit post. I actually ended up wearing this outfit for Christmas dinner, but I think it would also be the perfect Valentine's Day outfit. I love that you can either make this for warmer weather or add some tights and a jacket (see below) for colder weather. Granted it is about 52°F here at night, so not as cold as some of you out there, but it works perfect for here!

I just love the way the polka dots look with the red skirt. You could also wear some strappy heels like these.
If you live in a climate that is cooler, then I would definitely add some tights and this fuzzy jacket. The most comfortable and warmest jacket. Although I'm speaking from a 52°F point...haha!
Seriously this jacket just feels like a warm hug, for about $100 I think it gives you a big bang for your buck. A great piece to add to your wardrobe. How many times have you been all dressed up with no nice jacket to wear with it. This is your answer!
Are you the type to go out for Valentine's Day or stay in? We're headed to Canada to visit some friends that weekend and we're so excited! So no dressing up for us, but we're going to have a ton of fun!

Valentine's Day Kid Affirmations
Hi Foxy Friends! Sharing a fun thing to do for your kids for Valentine's Day. We did this last year for our kids, and they loved it! We thought it would be nice to do some affirmations for the kids on the door. Instead of writing one affirmation per heart, we each wrote an affirmation on the heart, myself being on the left and Mr. being on the right. The kids loved waking up and reading what we had written to them each day.

Super easy, when I was making the hearts, I folded the paper in half, and then realized there was a natural line for us to each take a side. So no need to get fancy, make them different sizes and colors. We kept them up all year too. They are still on the door. I will probably take them down and save them in a book, and then start all over again come February.

Happy Valentine's Day
Hi Foxy Friends! Happy Valentine's Day! I decided to take a break on outfit post today to bring you my cuties. I saw this tutorial on Danielle's blog about creating bokeh hearts. I knew I wanted to try this out for Valentine's. When the kids were born, I was all about creating themed pictures for the kids...
Baby Fox 2011
Mini Fox and Baby Fox 2014
This year I decided to do another photo shoot for Valentine's day since it's been a while. I'm so excited how it turned out.
I love how they came out! Now to figure out how to use this same method for St. Patrick's Day.

Valentine's Day Look
Happy Wednesday Foxy Friends! Today I'm over at The Blended Blog sharing my Valentine's Day outfit...actually it was my Christmas outfit, but I never posted, so it turned into my Valentine's day outfit, if we were to go out on Valentine's day.
If you are coming here from The Blended Blog, welcome! While the dress I am wearing isn't available any more, these are are are quite similar. I just love lace and how romantic it is.

I put together a full look for you, and added the jacket for those that live in colder places than where I am. I love this whole look! And if you think you can't rock the red lipstick, you can! Just own it, and everyone will think you do it all the time, trust me.
Funny, I didn't even realize Mini Fox had tried to jump into this picture until I was going through them.
I'm also linking up with Anne for her Currently post, this time we're talking finishing, subscribing, wishlisting, watching, and hearting.
Finishing - Okay this is really bad, but I'm still trying to finish taking down Christmas decorations! I know so bad! I just don't have any motivation to put all those small little ornaments back into their little boxes. And it's upstairs out of the way, where no one ever sees it...this weekend, I'm going to finish it...I will finish this. We CAN'T get into March and still have a Christmas tree up. haha! Don't judge.
Subscribing - I just started getting Boxy Charm, you guys if you haven't done it, you HAVE to. Here is one of my unboxings to get a sense of what comes in it.
Also FabFitFun, those are a seasonal subscription box and are super fun too! Here is an unboxing video of that.
Wishlisting - All the things, okay not really. But I really want these lipsticks, this jacket, and this dress, even though I have no reason to wear it...perhaps next New Years?.
Watching - This Is Us, isn't everyone?
Also Black Mirror on Netflix, we just finished season 4. So good.
Hearting - Seeing my kids and my cousins kids grow up together and get along so well together. I love that we all live close enough to each other that we can do that!
And guess what? I'm going to be the guest host next month!
The topics are going to be: planning, seeing, making, pretending, wearing

Valentine's Day Outfit
Happy Wednesday Foxy friends! Hope everyone is having a good week so far. I just found out on Monday that I have to travel for work next week, during Valentine's Day, does work have no heart? Boo! Anyway, I'm still going to show you what I would have worn on Valentine's Day...although we don't usually go out on that day anyway, and currently we did an early celebration and are away for the week sans kids...I'll let that sink in...no kids! It's never happened, okay maybe once, but usually it doesn't.
I'm wearing the same top from this outfit. In case you are wondering, I'm wearing this adhesive* bra. I love it way more than a regular strapless bra, mostly because I'm not having to tug it up all night long, me and regular strapless bras do not get along! If you are bigger chested then this one* will work better for you.
*Some of the links are affiliate

purchasing through Foxy's Domestic Side, you're helping me to
continue creating fun things for this space.
A casual, side swept ponytail with a twist. Cause just a regular ponytail would be boring right?
Adding twists makes it more fun right?
Really starting to see those gray hairs...going to have to eventually start dying my hair...please say it isn't so, no one has time for that!
In case you are wondering the lip color is Wolfie by ColourPop, have you heard of them, super affordable make up, this lipstick was only $6. I may or may not have bought 6 lipsticks on my first order.
It's a skirt with pockets, what's better than pockets? Pretty much nothing.
And because I'm weird and was doing funny pictures to see if any of them came out (seriously you should see how many I take and how many I never use, and just delete...this one is pretty good I think. Happy Valentine's Day friends!

Valentine's Day Burlap Wreath Tutorial
Hello Foxy Friends! Today I'm back with another wreath tutorial. This actually takes us full circle. This is the last wreath I'm making with the same exact wreath. That's right, I've made 7 Wreaths using the same exact base and I just changed out the decorations. Click here to see all of them.
Here's what I started with:
Some of the links are affiliate links and I will either receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you click on it or if you make a purchase from one of these links, I may also receive a commission on the sale of the product. By purchasing through Foxy's Domestic Side, you're helping me to continue creating fun things for this space.
What You'll Need:
Burlap Wreath (I've been using the same wreath over and over again, but click here for my full tutorial, click here for the video)
Sign to put in the Middle (I found mine at Hobby Lobby for $6.99 on sale for $4, this
, this
or this
would work too)
Twigs of Hearts (Hobby Lobby for $3.99 each on sale for $2.79 each, I bought 3)
Small Valentine's Sign (Hobby Lobby for $3.99 on sale for $2.79, I bought 3)
Small Happy Valentine's Sign (Hobby Lobby for $2.99 on sale for $2.09)
Red Deco Mesh (I didn't have to buy because it was in my previous wreath, that I reused)
Let's assume we've taken off all of the previous decorations, except for the red Deco Mesh.
Directions:
Step 1:
I tried to use the sprigs as they were, but I didn't have enough to cover the whole wreath and there were a lot in each bunch. I realized that they were individual wrapped with some tape, so I tore them apart to make separate strings of hearts, so I could spread them out a bit.
I spread them out to make it more even. I left space for things that I knew I wanted to add.
Step 2:
I then stuck the "Kiss" "Hugs" and "Love" signs into the wreath. I did not glue or tie these down.
Step 3:
I added a piece of floral wire with a glue gun to the back of the Happy Valentine's Day sign so I could secure it to the wreath without having to glue it down.
I then attached it to the wreath
Step 4:
I then cut the LOVE garland in half so I could put them on top of each other like this.
The LOVE signed turned out slightly larger than I wanted, but I still think it's pretty cute. There were so many different choices at Hobby Lobby. And the finished product.
Here is how it looks on my front door. Full confession, I didn't make a January wreath, just went straight to a Valentine's one, so this has been on my door since the first weekend of January.
