This week my parents took Baby Fox to spend the night at their house for the first time. We tried this last summer but he just wasn't ready. He told us he was ready, I might have almost cried after he left.
She had her shoes and was all ready to go too, she was really upset she didn't get to go too.
It was so weird having just one kid, and so easy! But super weird he wasn't in his bed when I went to check on the kids before we went to bed. The house just seemed a little empty, ya know? Happy that he's reached this milestone, but sad at the same time.
This girl has it going on...
She copies everything he does, EVERYTHING. She doesn't even suck her fingers...
Wednesday we went to watch my dad at his track meet. Did I tell you he's a track starter? He used to do it back when he was my age, and then had kids and didn't have the time, so he passed the torch and all his stuff to my Grandpa, when my grandpa go too old to do it, my dad would go with him and help out, then my dad starting doing the track meets and my Grandpa would go to "help"
Baby Fox wanted to hold the numbers for the 2 mile race...
Boys 2 mile race
Ready...Set....Go!
Helping cleaning up.
Baby Fox insisted on doing this himself...such a strong boy.
