The Perfect Fall Transition Dress

Happy Wednesday Foxy Friends! I know two days without posting, I'm sure you didn't even notice, but it felt sort of weird to not post. Work has been kicking my butt, but luckily yesterday was the last crazy day, mean I was working from 6am-11pm with a few hours inbetween to feed the kids and put them to bed...Tired...is all I can say. Anyway, I'm back with another week of the Commons Thread Challenge, where we pick 5 things from our closet and then each day have to use one of those 5 things and pick our outfit around that. As we're getting to the end of the month and the temperatures are soaring in the high nineties, it's hard to find ways to wear what I picked out! But here's what I wore this week:

What I'm Wearing:

Day 18

Skirt  (similar)* / Shirt /

Day 19

Day 20

Jeans*

Day 21

Booties (Similar)*

Day 22

I finally got a picture of the outfit for the past two weeks I've missed taking. Yep, I've worn this same exact outfit for three straight Saturdays. When you're going through a heat wave and only picked one "summer" thing for you Challenge list, you wear the same thing a lot.

Shorts (Similar) /  Shirt* / Flip Flops

Day 23

Day 24

Skirt (similar)*/ Shirt / Flats (similar)

I'm also linking up with Mel, Shay and Sheaffer for What's Up Wednesday.  I like looking back on these, especially since it's the same questions each month, click here for the past months.

What we're eating this week:

Eating meatloaf in muffin tins, cause I'm obsessed with putting everything in muffin tins or is it a pan? I'm not sure, but anyway, they are delicious. Recipe to come soon! I have nothing else on the menu cause I like to keep myself on my toes when trying to come up with ways to feed the family.

What I'm reminiscing about:

I saw this picture on FB the other day and thinking about how little Baby Fox was and how he STILL sucks those same fingers 5 years later. I love it, and know that it will stop eventually, but until then can he just be my baby forever?

What I'm loving:

This salad from Costco, seriously I can't get enough, and I can only go to Costco every so often...last night being one of them. I mean I needed to bring a salad to the Dodger watching party we were going to...so go to Costco right? Even though there are probably 3 stores between me and Costco.

What we've been up to:

Hanging out with friends and family. Mostly trying to soak up the season and enjoy every minute of it. Watching a LOT of Dodgers. Last nights game was fantastic. Go Blue!

What I'm dreading:

The 8 hour drive we have next month, see two questions below for why. 8 hours without stopping...but with two kids...who knows!!!

What I'm working on:

I have so many Christmas crafts I want to do. But when to do them? I bought this box to store our Christmas cards in, and now I can't think of what safe spot I put it in. My goal is to get it done in the next few weeks. Can't wait to show you my kitchen art craft too. It has to do with all the Santa Claus pictures we have taken over the years.

What I'm excited about:

We are taking the kids to The Polar Express and the North Pole Experience in Arizona  next month and I am so stinkin' excited!!! The kids are excited too and we are going with some friends so it will make it extra fun.

What I'm watching/reading:

Watching Grey's Anatomy, and This Is Us. Not much else because I have been working so much.

What I'm listening to:

Lot's of YouTube people. I don't get out much.

What I'm doing this weekend:

My parents are participating in a trunk or treat thing at their church, aonwe arw goinf to do that on Saturday, then Sunday we actually have no plans...miracle. I am sure we will find something to do!

What I'm looking forward to next month:

Thanksgiving. It is one of my favorite days of the year. Get together with family and eat and drink and have a good time. Plus 2 extra days off of work. How is it almost November?!

What else is new:

Not much. I bought some new day  planners, yes I am a paper person. And I don't know if I like them or not...we'll see. I might do a first impressions video on it...we'll see how much time I have between all of the crafts I want to do!!

Bonus Question: Favorite Thanksgiving side dish:

I think it depends what else is on my plate, but in general homemade cranberries. Not the jellied kind, but the whole berry kind. Because it just really tastes good with everything else.

7 Fall Outfits

I've mentioned this a few times, but this month I am participating in the Common Threads Challenge, where we pick 5 things from our closet and then each day have to use one of those 5 things and pick our outfit around that. So here is day 11 through 17.

*Some of the links are affiliate links and I will  either receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you click on it or if you make a purchase from one of these links, I may also receive a commission on the sale of the product. Click here for my disclosure page.

Day 11

I worked from home on this day, and admittedly wore some workout pants and this pink t-shirt. I had to take the kids to get their shots, so I threw on some pants, flip flops and called it a day. No make up, I don't even think I brushed my hair, oops!

Day 12

Shirt / Skirt  (similar)*/ Shoes (Similar) / Sweater (similar here, here and here)

Day 13

Sweater / Jeans* / Flats (similar)

Day 14

Tee (similar) / Jeans* / Flip Flops

Day 15

I wore this outfit again and forgot to take a picture again. It was 90° out, and we went to the pumpkin patch and then headed to the pool to enjoy the sunshine...One day I'll document this outfit...it's really the only warm weather outfit I can do, considering everything else I picked is for cold weather, oops!

Shorts (Similar) /  Shirt* / Flip Flops

Day 16

Skirt (similar) / Shirt (similar) / Heels (Similar)

Day 17

This might be my favorite outfit of the week. I totally wouldn't have put this together without this challenge. Even though blazers and dresses aren't a new thing.

DressBlazer* / Heels (Similar)

3 Fall Outfits

Happy Wednesday Foxy Friends! Hope you are all having a great week. I have a bit of a sore throat, but am hoping that it goes away by the weekend, too much fun to be had this weekend! Getting a two for one today. I'm linking up with Anne from Anne In Residence and her monthly "currently" where she gives you the topics to talk about. This time her cohost is Dana of Something Good, this month the prompts are stylingsavingsearchingpicking, and making. Which works out perfectly for what I'm about to talk about.

*Some of the links are affiliate links and I will  either receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you click on it or if you make a purchase from one of these links, I may also receive a commission on the sale of the product. Click here for my disclosure page.

Styling:

I've mentioned this a few times, but this month I am participating in the Common Threads Challenge, where we pick 5 things from our closet and then each day have to use one of those 5 things and pick our outfit around that.

Wondering what I picked? Wait no longer, here are the 5 things I picked.
Black and Whit Striped Skirt (Similar) / Burgundy Tee / Black Blazer / Skinny Jeans / Booties (Similar and 50% off!) /

So we're three days into this thing and these are the three outfits I've chosen so far. Sorry, you're only going to get a full outfit one or two of the days, as the other days, I am working and don't have time to take a full picture, and I don't have a mirror that I can take a picture with. The one that I have I would be shooting into the sun, so you would see a whole lot of bathroom and not much of me. haha.

Day 1:

Simple outfit for a day doing errands and cooking.

Skirt / Tee (color: green berry) / Shoes (Similar)

Day 2:

Grey Pants (similar) / Tee / Heels (Similar)

Day 3:

Dress (similar but long sleeve version)  / Cardigan (Similar) / Booties

Saving:

Hopefully money because I am remixing my closet up.

Searching:

For the perfect desk for our bedroom. It will also serve as a background to my Youtube videos. I'm thinking about getting this.

Picking:

Nothing at the moment. Pumpkins in a couple of weeks? Does that count?

Making:

I'm making a Wine Pull for a fundraiser I'm helping with on Saturday. Full details when I get my act together. Oh and if you don't know what a Wine Pull is, you label wine corks with a number, and then have a cute way to display, and people pay x amount of dollars to pull a wine cork and then they receive a wine bottle that has that number that you pulled. Many I have to get my act together...got to start this! At least I bought all of the stuff to do the project?

So what are you doing currently?

Friday Favorites #136

Happy Friday! Wow this was a long week. You know it's going to be long when you wake up on Tuesday, thinkgin it

In case you missed it on the blog this week:

Monday: School Food
Tuesday: Reverse Bucket List
Wednsday: Polka Dotty Skirt
Thursday: Family Photo shoot Outfit Ideas

Last week I posted a video on my kitchen renovation.

\

Two weekends ago, my MIL and BIL were in town, so glad that they got to see one of Baby Fox's soccer games, he just looks so old in this picture! Where did my little baby go?

Spectators.

Cause everyone wears their Christmas dress to soccer games right? She refused to take a picture of the dress.

Waiting on Grandma, Uncle and Daddy to get home. Their favorite when we take two cars anywhere is to jump out of the car and then pretend we've been there for forever.

Sunday we hit up In and Out for dinner, cause that's what you do when BIL is in town and they don't have one where he lives. MIL had already gone home.

Celebrations. Two weekends ago, we had so much to celebrate. One cousin getting married.

And another cousin having a baby.

So much to be thankful for these days.

As always, somethings I'm loving from my blogging friends.

First up, The Blended Blog has a we ask you answer, super easy post and it's on Monday. So if you don't have a post for Monday planned, get on this! Here are the questions.

Also Beth and  Stephanie are doing a Mini IG challenge, you should join in!

As usual some videos I've been loving around the internet lately.

Love this couple, would you do this for a free tank of gas, heck ya! Although I am not nearly as good at singing, but free is free right?!

Just found her, love her voice and her take on this song, so pretty.

So I'm not the only one! So happy someone invented this, I love the feeling of something heavy when I sleep. Hence why I always have covers on even in the summer. I need this in my life.
